Enjoy ocean breezes and lovely views in this open and airy vacation home. Situated on the North end of the island, this house is adjacent to the Hodge greenways and Clayhead Trail, and a short walk to Settler's Rock, Sachem Pond and the North Lighthouse. A short drive to fantastic beaches and town. The large, rolling lawn, surrounded by stone walls is the perfect place for kids to run and roam or play a game of whiffle ball. Rinse off after the beach in the convenient outside shower.
The large wrap-around deck is a great place for outdoor dining or relaxing in the hammock and watching sailboats go by. Inside, the first floor space is surrounded by windows and French doors to take in the views. The vaulted ceiling great room offers plenty of comfortable seating in crisp blue and yellow and includes a large brick wood-burning fireplace. A well equipped kitchen and dining area is right off the great room and a full bath completes the first level.
The private master bedroom is located by itself on the floor above. It is a cozy retreat decorated in ocean colors and features its own private balcony. The lower level features three more nicely appointed bedrooms with queen, double and bunk beds as well as a full bath, laundry room and access to the yard.
This is a wonderful home to spend a family vacation, wedding weekend or just a relaxing getaway. Take advantage of all Block Island has to offer or simply unwind on the deck and watch the boats sail by.
