Sherring Lodge is a romantic cabin-duplex getaway, close in to Port Townsend, a Victorian Seaport and Arts community. For eco tourists the cabin has the ambiance of a warm and friendly spot to enjoy our area. Sherring Lodge has a magnificent rock fireplace to warm the cockles of your heart. Come, walk,sail,eat, dance, rest,& take in the day with a local award winning glass of wine after a long day at the sea, or hot springs in the mountains. Come, put your feet up.
Our magnificent Victorian (#4in National Geographic), town embraces world cultures, history, and artisans of all venues. We have an incredibly active theatrical, musical, and seafaring community. Our Fort Worden is the home to Centrum Organization and all of its fine education and festivals. World Visitors say it is the best for all.
The sea life is available on foot, or kayak, tour boats, and for children as well at the Marine Science Center. The History of the Quimper Peninsula is accented with George Washington slept here, and the buildings remain glorified for visitors, along with modern fun wonderful shops. We are the entrance to the USA and to the Straits of San Juan de Fuca, Port Angeles, Neah Bay, Victoria on Vancouver Island, and our spectacular Olympic National Forest. Clear hiking trails or just for a short stroll, an incredible amount of beaches beckon you anywhere you go out the door from the lodge.
Come, sit, dream, eat, read, enjoy! The restarants, galleries, theatres, and pubs are marvelous, with live music nightly, to sway to. Caterers, bakeries, Asain food,local farmer markets, and chain grocers are available.
Owner and sweet cocker are on premises sometimes, to answer questions, or help you find your way, but not invasive of your visit and space.

Year Purchased: 2006
I am Harley, a sweet Cocker Spaniel resident of Sherring Lodge. My mom said I am here to greet and wag a welcome to all who enter. Fortunately, I get to go with her wherever she goes, and sometimes we are on location. She is a very busy resident of Port Townsend, involved in the Port Townsend Chamber of Commerce, their Visitor Center, and a Commissioner for the Port Townsend City Arts Commission. Along with that she volunteers for Northwinds Arts Alliance, Centrum, NW Maritime and Wooden Boat Festivals. Anything you need or want to know about this great area, just ask-sherry, and she will help you find the best music, ie the Upstage Restaurant, the best hors de ovarie ie T's, best day trips, Sol Duc Falls, and Lake Crescent Lodge, and can make a great reservation for you for whatever your heart desires.

I came to Port Townsend, alot, day tripping from Bellevue and knew I wanted to live by the sea with my boat, in this awesome community. When on a whim I came to look with Jan Garing from Windermere RE, I saw this beautiful cabin, walked in and saw the wood accent and huge rock fireplace, and said "I'll take it'! Could not be more happy in this brilliant and diverse community with every option to see, do, listen, learn, for anyone's heart desire. Sherring Lodge welcomes all and is easy access to Port Townsend Main Street, and Fort Worden, and the Ferry. Port Townsend is spectacular for activities and events, close to everything from Victoria to the Olympics, San Juan Islands, Sol Duc Falls, and Pacific Ocean to Seattle. Come see for yourself!
