2 bedroom/2 bath vacation condo on beautiful Beech Mountain, NC.
Jaw dropping views of Grandfather and Sugar Mountains. 140 degree long-range, multi-layered mountain views all the way from Blowing Rock on your left to Roan Mtn, TN on your right.
Condo is in upscale Southcrest neighborhood at over 5,000 ft elevation. Very quiet residential area with undeniably one of the best views on the mountain.
Sleeps up to 6 (1 king bed, 2 twin beds, and a queen sofa bed). All have feather beds and pillows with down comforters. Both bedrooms have 26" wall mounted flat panel HDTVs and Bose CD/radios. Master has ceiling fan and telescope to view the stars at night.
Kitchen is fully appointed with new stainless KitchenAid appliances. All new countertop appliances, dishware, flatware, glassware, bakeware, cookware, etc. Nothing is over 6 months old and everything is sparkling clean and new.
Living has 32" flat panel HDTV with Xbox to play video games and DVDs. Over 50 movies and games provided. Also has gas log fireplace and ceiling fan.
Other ammenities include: private deck with rockers, new front loading Whirlpool washer & dryer, multi-zone surround sound stereo/cd player. Plenty of windows to enjoy the cool mountaintop breeze and unbelievable views.
Bed linens are provided for each bed. Two sets of bath linens provided for each person. Basics such as paper towels, toilet paper, aluminum foil, detergent, cleaners, garbage bags, etc provided.
Condo is less than a mile walk to downtown Beech Mountain, Fred's General Mercantile, Sweets of Beech coffee shop, Brick Oven Pizza & Vasarely's restaurants, etc.
In the spring and fall, enjoy the scenic hiking trails on the mountain, area waterfalls, many fishing lakes and several stocked fishing streams on and around the mountain. Several of the area's nicest golf courses are just minutes away. Many folks also enjoy the new Zip-line adventures and local rafting and kayaking tours. Local area attractions include Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather Mountain, and Linville Falls & Caverns.
In the ski season, you can walk 1/2 mile to the Ski Beech slopes (Shawneehaw run) or drive less than 3 miles to the resort. Sugar Mountain resort is a 10 minute drive door to door. You can view the slopes of Hawksnest (15 minutes away) and Sugar from the back deck and the slopes of Beech from the front porch. We are definately in the heart of NC ski country.
And anytime of the year, it's less than a 4 mile drive to downtown Banner Elk for some of the best cuisine, shopping, and cultural activities in the highcountry.
