Situated on spectacular Currimundi surf beach overlooking the Pacific ocean, this authentic beach cottage is the ideal place for a family holiday or to take time out and totally relax.
Right outside your door are some of the best surf beaches in Australia with lifeguard supervision during holidays and a long expanse of sand to walk or jog for miles. After a swim or a walk, rinse the sand off in the downstairs outside shower with mosaic floor.
The house is open plan with 2 bedrooms and sleeps 6 people comfortably. It has a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave oven, stove and fridge. Also provided is a TV and video player in the living room and a separate laundry with washing machine. Enjoy million dollar views from just about anywhere in the house, even the bathroom. Relax on your front deck overlooking the ocean or wide back deck overlooking the mountains. Listen to the sounds of the waves as you are lulled into sleep. Bed linen and towels are supplied.
A short walk away is Currimundi Lake, a tidal river estuary good for fishing, swimming at high tide and is surrounded by a nature reserve with walking and bike tracks. This protected beach is very popular with families with young children.
Enjoy the pristine beaches that spread 5 km south to the main business center of Caloundra and 10km north to popular Mooloolaba.
Take a day excursion west to the hinterland mountains villages of Maleny and Montville with craft studios and a cool mountain escape.
Amenities: Easy walk to a corner shop that also sells hamburgers and a full breakfast. Across the road from the shop is a restaurant open for dinner, Thursday - Sunday. Also available close by are supermarkets, shops and numerous restaurants.
