The "Escape" at Windswept is the perfect place for a couple, or young family, to spend their beach vacation. The villa offers stylish accommodations and peaceful ocean views.

Located just 30 minutes from historic downtown Charleston, on Kiawah's East Beach, "The Escape at Windswept", is within a short walking distance to the Night Heron Park, the Sanctuary hotel, shopping and many restaurants. And most importantly, this beautifully renovated villa is mere steps from ten miles of pristine beach.

Completely renovated and redecorated in 2007, "The Escape at Windswept" offers you ocean views in the living room and master bedroom. Step out onto the living room balcony and enjoy the ocean view and refreshing sea breezes.

The living room, features built-ins with lots of storage space, a sleeper sofa for the kids, along with a media center that includes a 27" Widescreen Flat-Panel TV, DVD, CD player (filled with CDs), IPod dock station, wireless internet, along with a small library of books and dvd's. Open to the living room, the kitchen is appointed with elegant granite counter tops and features stainless steel appliances and a dining area.

The "Escape" master bedroom suite offers ocean views from the king-size bed. This deluxe bed is complete with a pillow-top mattress, Egyptian-cotton sheets, down-alternative pillows and a down-alternative duvet. The suite includes a 27" Widescreen Flat-Panel TV and a master bathroom with a large glass walk-in shower.

This villa is also fully furnished with a washer and dryer, new stainless steel kitchen appliances, utensils, pots and pans, and easy to use wireless, high-speed internet access (just bring your laptop).

  • Our first trip to Kiawah, or even So. Carolina, was a wonderful surprise. Can't imagine ever returning to FL again! The bike paths were so much fun with lots of places to explore that were not accessible to cars. We even biked in the rain! The "Escape" is truly that: ESCAPE! - comfortable calming furnishings (feels like you're living in Potterybarn's catalog), the ultimate shower, great location to the beach as well as any of the Island's restaurants or activities, balcony to drink coffee/cocktails overlooking beach, eclectic collection of CD's, movies, books; spacious floorplan. The second bathroom, washer/dryer, keyless entry, new kitchen were awesome organized conveniences. I would recommend this to anyone - but hope you are not going to tie it up when we want to go back! Missing Kiawah already....

  • My wife and I stayed at the "Escape” with our two young boys - ages 6 and 2. It was just the right size, with a pull-out couch and two bathrooms. Just a few feet from the beach, the "Escape" was comfortable and we loved the classy, modern decor. We are already scheming to go back next summer.

  • Upon entering the "Escape" our reaction was "WOW!" The Escape is a slice of heaven. We could spend our vacation there and never leave. Everything was perfect; the kitchen, the master bedroom over looking the ocean, the special little details that were thought of like sunsreen. A dream vacation.

My wife was completely surprised with the fantastic view from the bedroom. The condo is furnished in a way that made us feel at home. This is way more relaxing that staying in a hotel.   • Our vacation was greatly enhanced by the "Escape" villa. It was very clean, organized and beautifully decorated in a "Restoration Hardware" style. The views to the ocean were beautiful and relaxing, especially on the deck and master bedroom. There is only one bedroom, however with two small kids the pullout sofa was great and more than enough. There was ample space for our belongings. The proximity to the beach is a big plus. I would definitely recommend staying at this villa for a couple or a family with one or two young children.
