Our Museum Courtyard studio apartment is our most compact, at 25 sqm, and most economic apartment available at 35 Euros per night.
Despite being small it is perfectly formed, with full kitchen, luxury WC, walk in shower room, double bed, TV and living area.
It is perfectly situated in the heart of the city centre behind the National Museum. With the outdoor bars and cafes of Mikszáth Kálmán tér (square) and Krúdy utca (street) on your doorstep you can experience Budapest's youngest and most bohemian quarter first hand, including the Frank Zappa Bar on the square and numerous new bars, coffee shops and restaurants on the street. Most of the restaurants are open until 2am at weekends, giving you the chance of enjoying a late evening meal while listening to good music. There is an internet cafe on Szentkirályi utca, in the building, open between 9am and 10pm.
There is a supermarket at the end of Krúdy Gy. utca (street), only 2 blocks away, and small grocery stores within 200 metres.
A stones throw away is the Ráday Strip, Budapest's Soho. The River Danube (Duna) is a 10 minute walk as is the main shopping street Váci utca. Close by is also the Jewish Quarter with its long and tragic history.
This apartment is courtyard facing giving a good nights sleep in this throbbing centre of downtown Pest.
For families, there are 3 enclosed, dog-free playgrounds in the vicinity, which are places to relax even for those without children, thanks to the pretty gardens and fountains. Playgrounds close at sunset. The National Museum runs a program for children on Saturdays where they can learn about different historical eras.
For those traveling by car, bear in mind that parking tickets must be purchased (up to 2 hours at a time) on weekdays between 8am and 6pm. Parking is free in Budapest on the weekends. There is a parking house situated above the petrol station at Kálvin tér, only a 2 minute walking distance away.
The apartments can be reached by tram, underground, and bus. The night bus services run nearby as well, so even if you stay out till the morning, it will never be a problem getting back by public transport.
