  The cottage is equipped with everything visitors need -- from kitchen (great spices) to bathroom (thick towels) to bedroom (luxurious sheets) to outdoors (great deck, hammock and bicycles). It's clean and cozy. The only reason we didn't rate it "excellent" is the lack of television and spotty cell service (AT&T).

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, families with young children.

  We stayed at the Timber Frame Guest Cottage in July 2011. The cabin was very clean and well stocked. Everything was "as advertised" and in good working condition. The beds were very comfortable. The owners were friendly and able to recommend great restaurants (if you like Mexican food, definately try Serrano's - fresh ingredients, great flavor) and hiking trails. The back deck faces woods and is very private. We enjoyed using the bikes to explore East Glacier. Not only would I recomment this cabin to a friend, I find myself daydreaming about when I can go back again.

  This was a pleasant surprise! The property was better than described--very clean, comfortable beds, a nice rear patio, a gas bbq, close to all the amenities, on a very quiet street. A small grocery store and a couple of small restaurants are 1-2 blocks away. Bikes are available to cruise around town as well as some golf clubs to play at the lodge. The only negative and only reason I would not rate as "Excellent" is that the house lacks sound insulation between the bedroom and the bathroom next door as well as the loft above the bedroom, so make sure you are comfortable with your housemates! I would definitely recommend this property, we will stay here again when we go back.

  Owner response: We have considered adding a pad and carpet to the loft area to help with the noise level and in the mean time have added more area rugs to help with this. Thanks for the input! Every bit helps since we do not live there and wish to make it comfortable for everyone.

  June 24-27, 2007. We really enjoyed our stay at this cottage. It slept 5 adults comfortably. Had all the amenities we needed and was a great base to stay at for our exploration of GNP. Colleen responded quickly to all our e-mails and phone calls regarding this property. Would stay here again.
