Exceptional design and craftsmanship sets Flanders Villa apart. Traditional West Indian stonework surround the property and are complimented by beautiful planters filled with local flora and fauna. The Villa includes 4 bedroom suites each with their own private bathrooms, the Great Room which includes kitchen, dining room, living room and powder room, a private 10x20' pool and about 1400 square feet of gorgeous Mexican tiled decking.
The Great Room is perfect for entertaining guests. The entertainment center includes television, DVD player, CD player and IPOD hook-up. The cook in your party will thoroughly enjoy the brand new modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances, poured concrete counter tops and rich Jatoba custom cabinetry. The beautiful Balinese dining room table has comfortable seating for 8, or move out onto the deck for a delightful dinner poolside.
The Master Bedroom is located off the Great Room with a king size Caribbean Plantation bed and it's own private bathroom, including an exquisite ceiling-free stone shower! The next three bedrooms are located a few steps from the pool deck; one suite has a king, the other two queen size beds, all have unique Balinese furniture, private bathrooms with custom built vanities and beautiful showers featuring native stone work, custom tile and incredible views.
Flanders Villa was designed with island conservation and environmentalism in mind. We use solar panels for the hot water heater, the pool is treated with salt bromide, our washer is energy efficient, and we provide environmentally friendly soaps and detergents.
All of the bedroom suites have amazing views and receive Trade Wind Breezes yearlong. It's a perfect location to watch the sunrise while resting in a lounger, sipping your morning coffee- or perhaps sipping a frosty frozen treat while watching the moon's reflection on Coral Bay. This is the perfect Villa for families wishing to have a comfortable and relaxing vacation, or for couples looking for that romantic get away on St John.

Why the Owner Chose Coral Bay
We love being on the "quieter" side of the island! Coral Bay has beautiful beaches, restaurants and bars without a lot of the commercialism you see in Cruz Bay. Our Villa is located in a wonderful neighborhood with a mixture of rental homes and year round residents. And we have a beautiful paved road that leads to the property- a plus on St John!
The Unique Benefits at this Villa
We have a killer view! On a clear day you can see Virgin Gorda. The views of the topography and water, clouds and blue sky are breath taking. We get wonderful sun and moon rises. The Villa is also brand new, solidly built, tastefully decorated with a lot of rich tropical wood. And the pool is a definite plus- hard to keep the kids out of it!

Hi! This is my husband Josh and our son paddling around Lameshur Bay. He blames me for getting him involved with all this St John stuff! I, Suzanne, started vacationing on St John when I was in college, about 18 years ago. I took Josh here when we were dating and he also fell in love with this unique island. We bought property and started building- 2 years later we were finished-phew! We love to come down with our combined family of 2 college age boys, and our 5 and 2 year old. We certainly know the ins and outs of what to do with kids while vacationing on St John. This place is really a treasure and we are happy to share it with others.

Loved this Villa.... I have been vacationing on St John for 20 years and this is by far the best house that I have stayed at! The views are breathtaking from every room... even the showers! The kitchen and living/dining area is open and convenient with every modern amenity. The pool is beautiful and so relaxing especially first thing in the morning watching the sunrise before everyone got up. I used to vacation in Cruz Bay but have now become a devotee of Coral Bay which I find to be much more peaceful. You will absolutely love this villa.... I am already counting the days until my next visit!

This was our first visit to St. John and it won't be our last! The villa was even prettier in person. The villa was immaculate, beautifully decorated, spacious and all around fantastic! The view from the veranda and pool is simply stunning. We shared the villa with our friends (8 all together) and all of us felt completely at home here. The bedrooms are big, private and very beautiful! The kitchen had all the amenties one would expect in a gourmet kitchen. The dining area has a huge table that can accomodate up to 8-10 people. The pool is so relaxing and the view is out of this world. The villa is located in Coral Bay which is a quaint town with lovely stores and restaurants. The beaches and downtown area are just a short ride. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we are returning again to St. John and, of course, staying here at the villa again. I suggest you do the same. You won't be dissapointed!

We came to STJ for our 25th anniversary. First timers. Chose Flaunders because of the location (away from the noise and bustle) and because of the sheer beauty of the pics of the home. We chose wisely. The home just can't be adequately described in words. The material used to build the home is just beautiful. The view is fantastic. Since it was just the two of us, we were alloted just the main floor which was all we needed. Below are the remaining bedrooms and the laundry room all entered from the exterior lower veranda. We are not bar hoppers and night life hounds, so this home's location was perfect for us. The pool is lovely, but oddly, the water was quite cold so we did not enjoy it as much as we would have liked. We unfortunately picked a week that saw little sun; but what little we did get, we enjoyed listening to music while laying by the pool and reading. The veranda is a great place for reading as well. The master bedroom has a glorious view awaiting you each morning as you wake up. We ate all of our breakfasts in and some lunches. We grilled one evening but ate out the others. By far, our favorite Coral Bay restaurant was Shipwreck. Small, quaint and great food. There's a great grocer just down the hill from the house in the small shopping area that houses Aqua Bistro. Just about everything you need you can get there. We did shop and dine on the Cruz Bay side. Our favorite restaurants there are High Tide, Ocean Grille and Waterfront Bistro (great fish tacos). I'd have to say our favorite beach was Francis Bay. A little more private, just the way we like it. Would like to give a shout out to Kenny, who lives across the street. Mark is your greeter and your usual go to person while staying there, but he needed to leave town for most of our stay so Kenny, who normally just takes care of the pool and such became our go to person. Couldn't ask for a nicer guy. A very busy man, but he always found time to take care of whatever we needed. Thanks again Kenny. Suzanne-you should be proud of your vacation home......you did a great job. Thanks for sharing.

Our recent stay at Villa Flanders was amazing ! Our family never wanted to leave. From the gourmet kitchen to the open-air stone shower, we were in awe as we entered each room. If you think these pictures are amazing, you need to see the views yourself from the balcony over-looking Coral Bay. Cool breezes, beautiful sun rises, star-filled evenings, and complete and total relaxation. Perfect villa for families who like to spend time together in a beautifully decorated home. Our favorite beaches were less than a 20 minute drive away...We visited Trunk Bay, Hawksnest, Cinnamon,Caneel, Lameshur...We loved snorkeling Waterlemon Kay and hiking the Lind Point Trail to Honeymoon Beach. Our family has traveled many places, including Australia and Hawaii and St.John US VI and this villa is hands-down one of our favorite spots. Can't wait to return!
