ALOHA and WELCOME to my unit at the Kihei Akahi! The unit has free high speed wireless and wired internet. There is also free long distance, BBQs, washer/dryer, tennis courts, beach chairs, boogie boards, a cooler, 24/7 security, a dedicated parking space adjacent to the unit, and much more! I recently painted the unit so it looks great also!!

The Kihei Akahi is located across the street from Kamaole Beach 2 (KAM 2). KAM 2 is consistently recognized as one of the best beaches in the Hawaiian Islands. The beach is family friendly and a great place to relax for a day, a week, or an entire month! There is incredible snorkeling toward the south part of the beach and there are some small waves for bodyboarding and bodysurfing. There is also a GREAT surfing location (beginners to advanced) just up the street at Cove Park. Cove Park is walking distance and has plenty of companies for renting surf boards and equipment.
The Kihei Akahi is about a 30 minute drive from the airport and is a short drive to Makena and Wailea. There is a full activity desk at the front office for island activity reservations and information. You will be provided with a local on-island contact phone number for any needs you may have. Linens and towels are included.!
The Kihei Akahi is located in the city of Kihei in the southern part of Maui. South Maui has the best climate on Maui- warm weather and very little precipitation year round. The best location on Maui to vacation!

This is a picture of my wife and I at the scenic viewpoint at Ho'okipa Beach Park, on the north shore of Maui. This is one of the best windsurfing spots in the entire world (I am an avid windsurfer). We enjoy spending time on the north shore for the watersports, but love the Kihei area for relaxing.

Easy access to Hana, Lahaina, Haleakala volcano and southern Maui, where some of the best beaches are. Infinite number of things to do, from relaxing on the beach to Molokini snorkeling, Kihei has it all at a great price!
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
Kihei has easy access to the entire island. Lot of restaurants and nightlife within walking distance. Family friendly beaches and warm, calm water make this one of the most popular spots on the island, not to mention great beaches as well.
Parking is free (unlike other parts of the island like Ka-anapali Beach and Lahaina).

We are sadly checking out tomorrow. The condo not only met but exceeded our expectations. The view from the lanai was not only as promised but better. We enjoyed a beautiful hawaiian sunset over the ocean every night, and woke up every day to the view of palm trees, ocean, and mountains. After a great night 's sleep in a comfortable bed, we enjoyed cooking breakfast in the nicely equipped kitchen. In fact, although the nicely furnished condo was in easy walking distance to great restaurants, we mostly ate in. Even though the condo is located close to all amenities, it is far enough removed to be very quiet. The Kihei Akahi Resort has two great pool areas, fully equipped, with everything you need for an outdoor kitchen. Ryan's condo is truly a great place to enjoy a tropical vacation. We will not only return, but will also tell our friends about our great, first, VRBO experience.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children.

Ryan's place has been absolutely great for us. A well equipped studio that is located perfectly in the center of things, and is close to virtually everything. The complex is well maintained, right across from the beach and occupied with mostly mature dwellers.

We recently stayed at your Kihei condo on Nov. 2nd. Your condo surpassed our expectations and was terrific! The bed (and sofa bed) were comfortable and the condo was very clean. I was initially concerned that there might be a bug problem - but we kept the kitchen very clean and there were no bugs! The town of Kihei is absolutely wonderful, and we most enjoyed the proximity to the beach. Also, we took full advantage of the BBQ grill and got to know some of the "regulars" at the condo. Everyone was very nice. The location of both Safeway & Whole Foods is very convenient. So, we were able to save a lot of $$ by just shopping and eating in. Thank you for providing such a wonderful stay. My husband commented that he would like to make it an annual thing. So, I anticipate that we'll be contacting you again early next year to make reservations! I'm glad we found a more economical way to visit Maui.
