My mother and I stayed in this apartment for three nights recently to see The Nutcracker and SHOP! Union Square was within walking distance, but we still took a cable car because SF hills can be a bit much. The owners were so helpful and easy to communicate with, and the neighbors were very considerate and friendly. Transportation was easy – cable cars, electric buses and taxis were all easily accessible and cheap! We actually found that taxis were the most convenient and least expensive for short trips. There was a little corner market right across the street that we visited several times for Haagen Dazs and champagne. The apartment was super cozy, nicely furnished and clean and the building felt very safe. I would recommend this apartment to anyone planning a mother-daughter weekend or any kind of girls getaway. Thanks Laura and Jonathan! We'll be back!

We just returned from a 4 night stay at this fabulous San Francisco apartment! The building is clean, safe and centrally located. The apartment is gorgeous and feels like home from the moment you walk in. We loved every minute of our time in this amazing city and the apartment was a large part of what made our vacation so perfect. Laura was so easy to deal with and was prompt in replying to our emails. The apartment will not disappoint... it is even more beautiful in reality than it looks in the photos! I recommend this rental to anyone looking to "live like a local" in a fabulous San Francisco neighbourhood. Close to transit(we rode to a Giants game), theatre (we walked to Wicked), cable cars(b/c you're in SF) and great shopping and restaurants. We didn't rent a car this trip and we never felt we needed one. The place is just that great! Don't miss this one!

We just returned home from our stay at his beautiful San Francisco flat. It was beautifully decorated and quaint, complete with orginal mouldings and woodwork. The kitchen was totally updated with granite countertops and stainless appliances. The rooftop deck had an amazing view of San Francisco and the bridge. The best part about it was that this apartment is located in such a central location, close to transportation and attractions. We definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to visit San Francisco. We couldn't have asked for anything better!

The apartment was in a great location and was just as nice as described. Nice grocery just a block away and near a park and all the big name hotels. Right on two bus lines, which was great for transportation, but not quite so great for the noise factor. Such is "big city" life, I guess! We really enjoyed our stay in this charming and well maintained building. We felt very safe and were able to pretend we were natives, if only for five days! Thanks, Laura and Jonathan for sharing this space with us.
