This is a Newly Renovated executive single family home... located in the heart of Mount Pleasant. Boasting beautiful hardwood floors throughout, and fresh paint, it sits on over a quarter acre, tucked in a cul-de-sac and very quiet... yet SO close (less than ten minutes) to the Beaches and to Historic Downtown Charleston. This home is literally at the half way point between downtown Charleston and Sullivans Island. 8-10 minutes one way leads to Dunleavy's pub on Sullivans. 7-9 minutes the other way puts you at Magnolias Restaurant's front door, in downtown Charleston. This is the ultimate location. You can enjoy downtown, mt.p, and the beaches, while staying in a beautiful area, with the feel of a plantation, with towering pine trees and majestic oaks all around. And, it is quiet -- you don't have the highway just out your front door! You are tucked away, free to relax.
In addition to the 3 bedrooms, and the sleeper sofa, we have just refurnished the office, and added another bed. The office now has a desk with WIFI access, and a single sized bed. Thus, the house now sleeps up to 9 comfortably.
This home is easy to entertain in -- two family rooms, one with a huge plasma television, the other a nice sitting room, a large kitchen, private office space, three bedrooms, and two baths. The master bath has imported marble, jacuzzi tub, jet showers, and a rain shower! It has over 2400 Square Feet.

We visited Charleston to attend a family wedding and stayed in the Mt Pleasant property for 5 nights. It was a great experience for our family. The owners obviously go to great lengths to do the right thing in every aspect of building and maintaining the property, to assure the least amount of impact and disruption to their guests. The property is located conveniently with quick and easy access to almost everything in the greater Charleston area. As you walk through the door you realize this is not just another VRBO property. The house was spotlessly clean inside and out. The home was well decorated and each bedroom had comfortable beds and all the necessities to make one feel "at home." Our college aged sons greatly appreciated the wireless internet as well as the direct TV service and large screen TV in the family room. The kitchen is modern and well stocked, and although we did not spend a lot of time in the formal living room or dining room they also are nicely decorated and pleasant.
In addition, the owners are pleasant and easy to work with on every aspect of the rental process. Overall, a great value for your dollars... Money well spent! We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and plan to do so in the future.

Why the Owner Chose Mount Pleasant
This location is very central for those wanting a little of it all. The home is in a quiet and nice neighborhood with great access to Sullivans Island (10 minutes away) and to the historic district downtown (another 10 minutes away!) Being close to the base of the Ravenel Bridge but tucked away for quiet enjoyment.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Our home was recently completely renovated. From the floors, bathrooms and gourmet kitchen. It is located in a cul-de-sac, so you can feel comfortable with the kids running around outside and a few small bikes are provided for the smaller ones! Everything from a shady front porch with chairs to the grill out back. It is also a few doors down from our other listing, 213592!

My daughter's wedding was in Charleston in September 2011, and I rented this house as a place that several generations of our family could stay for several days prior to the wedding, and it worked out beautifully!!! The home is furnished beautifully, but is still extremely comfortable. We were able to spend some really great time together, and even though there was 6 of us staying there, we never felt cramped. The kitchen is furnished with every gadget you can imagine, and the home has a gorgeous separate dining room where we could gather for meals cooked on the grill. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful, and yet Charleston's Meeting Street is less than 10 minutes away. Liz always responded quickly to any questions I had. I hope to be able to get back to Charleston for a few days soon, and I hope this house is available then!

We rented this house for our parents 30th wedding anniversary. We've never been to Charleston and have never rented a home before, but we were blown away by both! Charleston was just minutes away from this house and so enjoyable. The house was beautiful...better than I imagined from the pictures. It's very comfortable and cozy and we would recommend this house 100% to anyone who is looking for a place in the Charleston area. We still have not found a better place to rent through vrbo across the US.

Our group of 6 friends stayed at this Mt Pleasant property in March 2011. We nornally stay in hotels, but we enjoyed staying in a house with the ability to visit with each other in the evenings after sightseeing. The location was convenient to many of our tours, and we ate at several Mt Pleasant, Sullivan's Island, and Charleston restaurants recommended by the owner; they were all very good! The property is on a quiet street and could have easily slept 7+ people. The house was clean and well equipped for cooking and relaxation. The owner's instructions made it easy to find. We had one concern requiring her attention, and she responded right away. Would definitely recommend this property to family and friends!

My husband and I travel using VRBO all the time. This property really exceeded our expectations. It was well done. Clean, upscale furnishings and the location was great. I had a few other couples join us during this stay and there was plenty of space for everyone. We will be back and will recommend to others. The owner was outstanding to work with. We needed something fast for our family since our downtown reservation cancelled on us. This house was a perfect location. It was easy and fast to get to downtown for our vacation and we even went to the beach for a late afternoon walk. (took 5 minutes!) The owner provided us with a few special requests that made our trip. Great service, beautiful house- well done! We will be back!

Visited the property over Thanksgiving. Nice visit. Clean property; we left property clean and neat. However, agreement was that security deposit would be returned. After numerous requests and 4 months later, owner hasn't responded and won't answer emails. Be very careful before you rent this property.
