Relax at the beach in our beautiful, new carriage home in the Toll Brothers luxury community of Bayside at Bethany Lakes. The community is conveniently located between Ocean City, MD, and Dewey Beach/Rehoboth--home to Tanger outlets and 140 stores. The community is waterfront and our house has pond and canal views from patio and master bedroom. We are less than 2 miles from the beach with a shuttle that runs weekends during the summer season. There is no need to get tangled in traffic on Rt. 1 or Rt. 26 as the G&E supermarket (new Harris Teeter in 2009), seafood market, liquor store, restaurants, gas station, and Salt Pond Public golf course are all minutes away! Super Giant, a variety of restaurants, health facilities, and all other amenities are also within close proximity.
We have plenty of room for your family's enjoyment so everyone can spread out and find their own personal space! The large eat-in gourmet kitchen (seats 4 at table and 3 at counter) is perfect for those who love to prepare meals, with granite counter tops, all cooking essentials, CD player, and under counter cable TV. Our large dining room includes an extra long dining table that comfortably seats 10. The open living room includes a 42" plasma TV (with DVD/CD) hung over the gas fireplace providing outstanding surround sound for all those summer movies and music pleasures. The tropical sun room is the perfect place to find quiet for reading or reflection with french doors separating it from the living room and beautiful views from two sides of both the pond and canal. The first floor includes a large master bedroom with sitting area, view of the canal, and TV/DVD. The master bath is spacious with two vanities, a 2-person soaking tub and an oversize 2-head garden shower. The powder room is also on the first floor. The back patio is a perfect place to watch the sun set over the river and the front covered porch is a great place to just relax.
The second floor has two large bedrooms (one with Queen bed and trundle bed--and TV, and one with two sets of bunk beds). The bathroom suite includes a separate room for shower and toilet and separate room with two sinks. The second floor loft is a spacious living/game room with full-sized pool table, large sectional sleep sofa and TV with DVD player. WiFi is available both inside and outside the club house and laptops can connect to the signal in our house.
The community has day docks for boats and jet skis, fishing pier, and tennis courts. The beautiful state-of-the art club house with both indoor and outdoor pools, community rooms, game room, and fitness center--all overlooking the Indian River--is just a 3-minute walk out our back door. Clubhouse amenities are available to renters for $25 per person per week (over age 4) or $6 per day payable directly by renter to the clubhouse staff.
Our home is No Smoking, No pets. Families preferred. Guests must bring their own linens and paper goods. Check-in time is 3 p.m. and check-out is 10:00 a.m.
