My daughter found this condo rental & it was everything it described it as being. The oceanview & the deck were great & were enjoyed for morning coffee & lengthy morning visits. The furnishings in the condo were very tasteful & up to date, wi-fi was very fast, kitchen great, & bedrooms were very comfortable. Once we got our shower schedules figured out, we didn't run out of hot water but that once! There was a binder on the coffee table that told you everything you could ever want to know about Kiawah & the area, complete with personal recommendations & maps. Everything was in top notch condition & very clean. We would definitely rent from Kiawah Island Getaways again without hesitation. They were helpful, gave us good information & recommendations, & were very easy to work with & stayed in contact with us before, during, & after our trip.

I had a wonderful November getaway at Kiawah Island! The Seabreeze villa was nicely decorated and felt much like "home". The view was breathtaking. It was so awesome to wake up every morning and watch the waves roll in. The people on Kiawah Island were friendly and quite helpful. The Sanctuary Hotel's Jasmine Porch Sunday brunch is a "must do". We ventured out to Charleston and enjoyed a wonderful tour of the city (the Angel Tree is a "must see") as well as a barbeque competition/tasting at the marina. My only regret is that the weather was cold and wet, and that my stay wasn't longer!

It was a wonderful week vacationing on Kiawah Island and visiting Charleston and it's many attractions and restaurants. Another couple joined us on this adventure and all four of us loved the area. The weather was great in early October and the scenery was grand. Wonderful accomendations at our villa located at 4451 Windswept. Beautiful view of the ocean and just a few step away from the beach. We did not play golf on this outing but plan to on our next trip. The courses were beautiful. Great restaurants in Charleston. I would recommend places such as the Wild Olive, Red Hen and SNOB's(Slightly North Of Broad) in Charleston and King's Grill at Fresh Fields shopping center on Sea Brook Island. The only thing that is somewhat difficult is the drive to Charleston from Kiawah Island. It's a good 15 to 20 miles from the island to many of the places of interest in Charleston. That said the drive is not bad. But there are so many things to do on the island, one would not have to leave the island. Plenty of things to do with great restaurants with beautiful views of the golf courses and ocean. We hope to visit next year and will try to reserve the same location. So to those out there reading this review---Come to Kiawah Island---You will enjoy it.

My husband and I had a fabulous week at Kiawah and loved the Sea Breeze villa. It is decorated quite nicely and very well appointed. There are personal extras that are not usually included when we have rented from other agencies. The view from the porch is wonderful and the villa is very convenient to the beach. We would definitely recommend this property to our friends.

Once again we have had another perfect vacation at Kiawah Island! This is our second year staying in the Seabreeze Villa and we were not disappointed. Everything about the villa and our hosts was perfection! After staying at the Outerbanks for years and having to come into a rental house and making your own beds, cleaning up after the last guests, and trying to find where you packed the toilet paper, staying at the Seabreze is truly a vacation from the start! The villa is immaculate, the beds are made, music is playing, and all you need to do is find where you packed your bathing suit and go to the beach!

My wife and I rented this villa for a week. The villa was first class - excellent furnishings, fully equiped kitchen, and the whole villa very clean. We had no problems for the entire week. Kiawah Island Getaways did an excellent job on pre-arrival information, and furnished a lot of local information on activities, restaurants, etc. I would recommend renting bicycles since there are miles of bikepaths on the island. It is rather expensive to eat on the island everynight, so the well appointed kitchen was great to fix a few meals. Several lower priced places to eat just off the island, and tons of choices in Charleston. We would rent again from KI Getaways. The only drawback which they did disclose was if you have kids, you don't have admission to the pool and waterpark that is very near this villa. Since we didn't care about using the pool, this wasn't a problem for us.

This is the second time we have rented from Kiawah Island Getaways and the second time we have been very pleased. Sea Breeze is exactly as advertised - a very nice 2BR/2BA condo on the ocean front. The unit is nicely decorated, very clean, and well stocked with all the small touches you need to be comfortable, such as dishwasher detertegent, laundry supplies, beach towels, etc. You won't go wrong renting from Shawn and Jeanette, their properties are top notch, they are easy to deal with and their prices are fair.

We were expecting a nice, relaxing stay at Kiawah and this condo did not disappoint! The interior was truly lovely & well appointed with all the bases covered. From the keyless entry, to the good-quality linens and towels and nicely stocked kitchen, everything was provided to help us really relax and enjoy our visit. It was quiet and comfortable--definitely surpassing our expectations. The ocean view and access are wonderful!

We very much enjoyed our Kiawah Island experience. The Sea Breeze Villa is well maintained and very comfortable; great location to access the beach and see the ocean. (The pool that is available to guests is not on site at the Windswept Villas but the beach is so beautiful and the water so wonderfully warm that we did not miss spending time poolside.) We greatly appreciated the attention to details such as providing some staples during the stay (laundry and d/w soap, shower soaps/shampoos, sugar, salt, coffee filters, etc), the vanilla scent plug-ins, suggested sights and maps/directions, and the high quality bedding. The balcony is a lovely place to enjoy meals and allows privacy from the beach walkers (though it lacks privacy from the other balconies of the Windswept building). When visiting the Island, we highly recommend a visit to the Angel Oak tree (a 350+ year old amazing oak tree about 15 minutes from Kiawah); we also really enjoyed our evening at the Ryder Cup Grill (at Ocean Course) - great food, very nice staff and beautiful views. Skip the ice cream at the West Beach Village on Kiawah. The prepared foods, vegetables, meats and fish at Newton Farms (Kiawah Island - Freshfields Village grocery store) are excellent.

The Sea Breeze was a great property. The listing accurately described the property. It was very conveniently located. I love renting from Jeanette and Sean at Kiawah Island Getaways. They have fantastic properties that are well maintained and loading with great amenities. It's definitely a turnkey property - all you need to do is stock the fridge and the bar. We loved the bike riding, late evenings on the beach, and good books. We would definitely recommend eating at Rose Banks Farm Cafe in Bohicket. We would definitely recommend this property and would highly recommend Kiawah Island Getaways.

This was our first stay on Kiawah Island and may I say that we were spoiled and may never be able to find a place comparable to this vacation!!! Kiawah Island Getaways makes your stay on the Island so comfortable that you don't want to leave the villa except to go to the beach. In the morning we would go for walks on the beach which was a very short distance from the villa!! We would eat our breakfast outside on the deck overlooking the ocean (getting everything ready in the most exquiste, fully equipped kitchen!) Then get ready for another beautiful sunny day basking in the Carolina sun. It was easy to relax because the villa had everything fully equipped and ready for us. At night we didn't even want to go out to dinner because the villa and it's views we so stunning that most nights we got take out and ate in our dining room outside at the villa!! It was more beautiful than any restaurant on the Island!! The villa exceeded our expectations in every aspect!! It had the perfect location, the perfect amenities, it was perfectly cleaned and maintained, and I would recommend both this villa and Kiawah Island Getaways to anyone wanting to vacation on Kiawah Island. We have now found our NEW favorite vacation spot and will be returing EVERY year from now on and Kiawah Island Getaways will be the only people we rent from!!!!

We can't speak highly enough of the condo! Between the cleanliness of the rooms to the fully equipped kitchen, we could not have been any more impressed. With two small children, I did not have to worry about anything missing that was needed in order to maintain our home away from home. A binder was ready for us that was full of helpful tips for local dining and events - even the light switches throughout the rooms were labeled to help us! For anyone who has never been to this area, just go to the places noted in the binder and your vacation itinery is complete. The only issue to note is the building did not seem to have a ramp, so we did have to climb steps with luggage and strollers in order to get to the elevator.

Lovely unit, nicely appointed, great view. Upscale inside, outside a bit more rustic. Unit was very clean and welcoming. Kitchen well organized. Quick walk down to the beach - beach was amazing, riding bikes on the beach, even more amazing! One downside (that doesn't reflect on the unit itself) was the amount of time it took to get into Charleston - the roads are not direct and not well lit. Enjoyed dinner at Fig (in Charleston) and Fat Hen (closer to Kiawah). Weather was perfect, but breezy. Would definitely recommend to others traveling to the area.

The condo is exactly as pictured and represented on VRBO. It's clean, well-maintained, everything works, very attractive and well appointed, comfortable, a wonderful ocean front porch and a beautiful location. The Lawson's think of and attend to every detail making it so pleasant and easy, there's laundry detergent and dish detergent and some essential cooking supplies; the towels and sheets are nice quality, everything is well done. This property lived up to the advertisement! We were looking for a very well appointed, ocean front condo and this one delivered. We particularly enjoyed preparing most dinners in the condo while overlooking the ocean and dining on the deck. It was so nice to have a condo that was not decorated with the typical beach furnishings (usually cast offs) but one that truly felt like a home. We also enjoyed the Freshfields area. In the past, we tried to pack all of our food needed for the week but you no longer have to do that! The Freshfields Market is wonderful and there a many new restaurants to choose from as well. Highly recommend this property as all details were well thought out. We didn't want to leave and can't wait to return!

Immaculate and very well appointed condo in a great location. Two suggestions would be: (1) grab bars in the shower/bath for older guests, (2) magnifying makeup mirrors in both baths. The restaurant and other suggestions as well as directions into Charleston were all very helpful. Definitely a candidate for a return visit for my husband and me.

Owner response: Dear Suzanne, Thanks for being wonderful guests - we'd be delighted to host your return trip to Kiawah! We are working on these two improvements right now.

The villa had all the little things (e.g. wine stoppers)and the big things (e.g. comfortable beds) that made it as easy as being at home. We would definitely stay again.

The accomodations at Kiawah in the Windswept Villas were perfect! Luxurious and comfortable at the same time. Just steps away from the beach and close to Night Heron Park for the teens. We love Kiawah and visit as often as we can. I can say this last stay was the best for the accomdations, the only thing missing? My two college age students! Can't wait to visit again!

Sea Breeze is spectacular. The view is extraordinary. All you need to do is unpack and enjoy which is what we did. Even ate in every night (thanks for the "special delivery" of the broiler pan). The sunny days were the best, of course, but even when chilly and overcast we enjoyed biking the island and the beach. The renovation is perfect...soothing colors and beautiful fabrics etc, etc.

Jeanette and Shawn provided a wonderful retreat that was fully equipped with all that we needed--from coffee filters to dishwashing detergent to rubber bands. The villa is not only beautifully decorated, but the kitchen was such a dream to cook in that I would love to have such a functioning kitchen back home. In addition, their advice about area restaurants and attractions in the Charleston area proved to be invaluable. We'd love to visit the area again and stay at the Sea Breeze!

We stayed at Sea Breeze for a week in October '08 and had a fabulous time. The condo is beautiful, very nicely decorated and stocked with everything one could imagine needing during a holiday. We have a four-year-old son, who settled into the condo as though he were at home -- it was a wonderful retreat for him as we explored the area. The island itself is absolutely stunning. We walked along the beach early each morning to collect sea shells and see what the sea had thrown up, then cycled the bike paths and along the sand, spent some time in the afternoon lounging on the beach, and enjoyed playing in the surf. In the early evenings, it was very relaxing to sit out on the balcony with a nice glass of wine (in a real wine glass -- so rare when renting these days!) and look out over the waves. We saw deer, turtles, pelicans, horseshoe crabs and alligators nearly every day. I hope we'll get back to Kiawah again some day, and if we do, we will definitely be booking in with Kiawah Island Getaways.

We rented through another company last year on Kiawah Island and were SO disappointed. We loved the beach and the general atmosphere of Kiawah but didn't want to deal with all the mess of picking out something on the internet and hoping for the best. When I came across Kiawah Island Getaways on the web I was thinking this is too good to be true. After talking to Shawn on the phone, we made our reservations and everything from that point on was perfect. Check in was easy, the Sea Breeze villa was even better than expected, and no detail was missed. If you are looking for a clean, relaxing, wonderful place to stay, look no further. We will hopefully be back next year. The only thing I want to do differently is stay two weeks instead of one. Thanks Shawn and Jeanette for the wonderful accommodations. We are raving fans!

Our week in the SeaBreeze Condo was wonderful. The condo is beautifully decorated in soothing earthtones. All of the comforts of home have been included. The kitchen was the best equipped kitcen we have ever rented. The ease of renting the bikes, boogie boards and beach chairs was fantastic. The information that was provided on all of the local rsaurants, activities, ect. was great. Basically, when you rent from Kiawah Island Getaways you won't need to think about much once you arrive on the island. They have thought of everything, I could go on forever!! The view and breeze from the porch are wonderful! We were so lucky to even enjoy a beautiful rainbow on our last evening. Thank you Kiawah Island Getaways!

We had a fabulous week at the "Sea Breeze". The oceanfront location was perfect for our small family and our children could go to and from the beach independently. The unit was spotless upon arrival and the furnishing very cozy and inviting. The beds/linens were extremely comfortable! The large marble baths were wonderful and there was plenty of storage space in the master bath closet. All in all, this is the type of rental that we look for to spend our vacation weeks. We were not disappointed, thank you!

I rented this condo for me, my wife, and our two sons, ages 5 and 3, and I could not have been more pleased with our experience. The pictures here do not do the condo justice, as it is bright, cheerful, spacious, and a very well-decorated place. The beds are very comfortable and the glass shower in the master bath is great for rinsing off after a hot day at the beach. It has great views of the beach and well-located to get to the East Village Market and the Sanctuary. Renting was a pleasant experience. The rental price quoted is what you pay. No extras for linens or towels, or extra "fees" that rental agencies often charge. The only add-on was an 11.5% SC tax which is disclosed up-front. I dealt directly with the owners who were very friendly and helpful. My whole family greatly enjoyed our stay on Kiawah. When we return, I will rent from Kiawah Island Getaways again.

We had a wonderful stay in the Seabreeze villa. Our expectations were far exceeded and we hope to return in the future. I appreciated such a well stocked kitchen and all the little extras. The decor was so beautiful and warm and made us feel like we were in a well cared for home. I have to say I miss the "heavenly" bed in the master bedroom. It was by far one of the most comfortable nights sleep I have had in a long while. I cant say enough great things about this villa and kiawah island getaways.

The condo was wonderful! It was extremely well-equipped, from the kitchen to the laundry to the baths to the leisure materials. Thank you very much for your obvious attention to the details! Our [very few] suggestions: 1. Cotton blankets for the beds. The duvets were too warm for women having hot flashes at night :-) 2. Add caulk to the tub in the small bath. 3. Add a small mat inside the patio door; we tried hard not to track dirt onto the beautiful hardwood floors. We plan to visit again with our family, Sheila & Peter Strand

Owner response: Thanks for the comments! We will take care to caulk and add a door mat. Spare blankets are in each closet.

The Sea Breeze Villa is a wonderful, immaculate place to stay. We thoroughly appreciated the attention to detail and the beautifully appointed furnishings. We enjoyed our stay on Kiawah Island!
