The ALL SPORTS lake is very clean and big enough for everyone to enjoy. The sandy bottom and gradual drop off in water depth are perfect for young swimmers, water games or just floating under the warm sun. Fishing, Water Skiing, PWC and Sailing are all possible and enjoyed on the lake.
This Cottage has all of the things you would expect from a home built in 2004 and furnished in 2008. Central AC for cooling off, Hardwood floors, New Appliances, Soft/Clean water. Get a good night's sleep on new high-end mattresses. And if the lake breeze with ceiling fans are not enough you have AC. HDTV's in both bedrooms. Plasma HDTV in living room.
We are PET FRIENDLY. Of course the cottage is cleaned between every guest but if you have severe allergies, plese keep in mind that a pet may have stayed in the cottage at some point.
We hope you will stay with us year after year. We will do our best make your stay as enjoyable as possible. If you find you need something not listed here - please ask. We will do our best to satisfy your needs.
So far our guests have been very positive about what we offer. So far we have been very lucky to have the great guests that we have had. Most guests have said that the cottage was better than the pictures and descriptions. So far our guests have been terriific!
Race/NASCAR fans can enjoy the close proximity to the Michigan International Speedway (MIS). Enjoy the races and when they are over enjoy the water.
The cottage is set back against the trees, approximately 100' back from Wamplers Lake Road. Across the road is a our/your own private tree'd grassy area that is approximately 60'x40' Wide. A Seawall transitions into the water. This area is great for relaxing, refreshments and the lake breeze.
Grilling at a cottage is the best. When evening comes, enjoy the fire pit next to the lake. S'mores are a must!

Why the Owner Chose Brooklyn
We live in the Ann Arbor/Detroit metro area. There are so many beautiful lakes in MI, but this lake fit our needs best. Wamplers Lake is an all sports lake with clean crystal clear water and great people. It is about an hour from the metro area. There are two different routes to get there and neither has heavy traffic. Its a great place to relax.
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage
The lake is just the right size! Big enough for all sports; Skiing, Fishing and Sailing. Small enough to enjoy without worry. The water is crystal clear. The cottage has a cozy warm feeling. When you look out the front you know you are at a cottage on the lake. When you look out the back you feel like you are at a cabin "up north." Our family and friends are using the cottage - its not just a rental - its our home, so we want it to be nice. If the lake isn't all you need, you can find fun in town, in Ann Arbor (Univ of MI), Detroit. Check out the local wine tasting at Cherry Creek Winery.

We like the sun and fun of being around water. We like boating and swimming on fresh water lakes. Wamplers Lake is the best we have found. Our cottage allows us to escape for a day, the weekend or a week and enjoy an entirely different mindset then being at home or on a trip to a "resort."

Our family LOVED staying at your cottage. It was pretty views from every window -- the lake was amazing and I am not a water lover --- but even I went out in it as it was so clean. Speaking of CLEAN - I can not say one thing was missing our out of place. It's very important for me to say at a place that is clean and this cottage was as CLEAN as brand new!! The owners were always helpful with any questions we had,they keep this home as nice as the pictures show. The town was sweet and YES our family wants to go back next year! Don't ever sell ---- we would miss this vacation home! The Bates Family

We enjoyed our stay at the Dunn's cottage very much. It was very clean and equipped with everything you might need. The view of the lake is beautiful. One of the best features is that the cottage is air-conditioned. Hot weather in the day is great when you can cool off in the lake, but it is good to know that no matter how hot it is, you will be able to sleep at night. We would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone who is thinking about renting a cottage in this area.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, pet owners, age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.
