  • “WOW!...it completely exceeded our expectations!!” This was our 9th trip to the Ixtapa / Zihuatanejo area but our first time staying at the Bay View Grand. I now know we won’t stay anywhere else except at the Bay View Grand when we return and our hope is that this specific unit would be available for us to rent. Owner’ Linda & Scott were excellent to work with. Their on-site assistance from Julian was perfect. The view from the huge ocean front balcony is simply stunning sunsets, over breaking ocean waves, every single evening. The condo furnishings are great and the kitchen was really well furnished. The air conditioned gymnasium is the best work out facility I have seen in that city and the furnishings in the men’s and women’s locker rooms were identical to some of the nicest spa’s I have seen, including huge whirlpools & saunas, etc. I also must reiterate that the pool side restaurant & bar (approx 10am – 5:15pm) is exceptional in value and quality. I will close with saying that this was easily our best vacation ever and please do not hesitate to ask Linda and Scott for my e-mail address if I can answer any questions you might have.

  • We enjoyed very much our one week stay at Scott and Linda´s condo in Ixtapa. It is definitely a top class apartment with all the facilities found at home and with a fantastic view of the bay. The building, swimming pools and gardens are very well cared of providing a top atmosphere. We have been in Ixtapa several times and we would rank this place as one of the top choices. Next time we go to Ixtapa we will definetely consider this place as our first option. We also want to acknowledge the kind and efficient attention of Julian and Fina, who live in the same building and helped us with the simple administrative procedures.

  • The owners Scott and Linda were a dream to work with and everything went very smoothly for the rental process. I also like the fact that I could register at VRBO and get comfort from knowing I had a guarantee. At the condo we were met by a friend of the owners, on our arrival from the airport. He escorted us to the condo and showed us around and gave us the keys. He wasn't there long or overbearing, but lets us know if we had any problems to contact him. Upon entering the condo, what a stunning view. This was our 6th trip to Ixtapa and the view was the best we have had, although Las Brisas would be a close second. The condo had everything we needed. Each condo has its own big beach towels with the condo numbers on them. Everything we needed in the kitchen was there. The bedrooms and bathrooms were large and roomy. Walk-in closet in the master bedroom? WOW! We had plenty of room for the 4 of us. We have a 16 year old daughter and 12 year old son. The second bedroom had a queen, but there was an inflatable mattress and my son slept fine all week. The condo was very clean and the grounds amazing. We felt like we were in lifestyles of the rich and famous. Everything was well taken care of; it almost felt like a resort. Except it was far more relaxing. We never had trouble getting a beach chair, it didn't matter what time we went down. The beach area was clean and raked every morning. It was much quieter compared to the resorts. The restaurant at the pool was wonderful. Excellent service and good finger food. The owners had said reasonably priced, well I think it was even better than that. I couldn't believe how cheap it was. We ate there every day. Nora, the Concierge was there to answer questions and booked a few restaurants for us and skydiving for the kids. In 6 trips to Ixtapa the weather has always been the same. Very sunny and warm, with beautiful, blue skies. We certainly will stay at the Bay View Grand next time and hopefully this condo is available. If any potential renters want to contact me please feel free to email me. Lyle Smith
