Huge walk in closet is big enough to hold your port-a-crib for baby naps. 4th floor for great gulf breezes without a lot of pool noise yet quick elevator ride!
Kitchen with everything you need: stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, blender, coffee maker-all pans & utensils. Towels, sheets etc. included. Laundry room just steps away.
Walk to everything- pizza cafe, Spinnakers restaurant, Pineapple Willies, Alvins Island, Club la Vela, Pizza, golf, convenience & beach stores within 1 block. Wal-mart 1 mile away. Stay here & avoid all the driving & traffic! Summer beach amenities like para-sailing & jet skis rented here too.

A friend of mine and myself spent a week here last summer! We had a blast! Everything was clean and well maintained. The reason that I waited this long to post something is because we are going back in June!!! We cannot wait to get back down there! WoooHooo!!!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

Our family has stayed here twice. Once for just my husband and myself, and once with our two children. We loved how close it is to entertainment for when it rained with the kids. The room is set up so well and everything is very high quality. The view was beautiful and the beach is so close. The owners are wonderful and excellent to work with. The closet in the room is very large and easily fit our pack-n-play to let our 1yr old nap in peace. I would definitely recommend it to others and we will be back again for sure!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

The Condo is very old and not well maintained! The pool was not open 3 days of our stay. When we arrived to the room the first day, the cleaning wasn't up to par. For example, there was food stuck on the couch (nasty), and food under the microwave. I had to clean to feel comfortable staying there. I wasn't impressed nor will we ever stay at the condo!Owner response: I'm so sorry, coming at the end of the busy summer perhaps some things were missed by our maid. However, we will have it deep cleaned right away as is our policy each August and discuss your comments with our cleaning service. I had no idea the pool was down with maintenance, again we apologize that your stay was less than perfect.

The condo was just as described. The weather could have been a little better the first of the week - but that is one thing you can never be sure of. The condo had alot of extras ( beach umbrella, beach chair, radio and even a little cooler. We will definitely stay there again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+.

We enjoyed our vacation at this condo. It is as described and is in a very good location. The view from the condo is awesome! It is right on the beach and very close to attractions, great places to eat, etc. It also has a nice pool. The condo had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and we really enjoyed it. We would without a doubt stay there again!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+.

WOW this condo is GREAT! Quite, clean, nicely furnished, everything provided that you would need. BEAUTIFUL view of the ocean and the pool is terrific. Located in a convenient area and plenty of parking with security. We enjoyed our stay so much we extended our visit! (Aug. 16-22) Can't wait to come back! About the owner: We are Billy & Jeanna Groome, REALTORS in Memphis. We have two great kids who would live at the beach all year if they could!
Why the Owner Chose Top of the Gulf:
Panama City Beach is undergoing such growth and revitalization! It is great to be a part of it. The new PIER PARK complex is wonderful and a real added attraction for Panama City Beach- I love to visit Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville & Tootsie's Orchid lounge to enjoy live music in an open air setting - it is great to have some different attractions than Destin and a really fun walkable unique shopping and dining area on the beach. We go to pier park several times in each visit- movies, shopping, eating, walking around and people watching- there are things for the kids to enjoy and some play areas for the little ones. Our Condo at Top of the Gulf is just the right size and we wanted to create a lovely vacation condo so that guests on a budget could enjoy being directly on the beach with nice furnishings and decor of more expensive locations. We have owned a condo in Destin that cost twice as much to rent and we wanted this to be just as nice. We have been honored at how carefully our guests have maintained our condo while vacationing with us- it has been a great experience!

Love being right on the beach - Love watching the ocean while going to sleep or waking up- having a great quality KING sized bed is a must at home and we thought our vacation home should have it as well. Being with our children is the best part of the beach experience & just doing as little as possible! The kids love the bunk bed & the 'secret beds' they call the trundle & the sleeper sofabed. Love the brisk sea breezes that always flow through the windows.
