Brand New Lakefront home located directly on beautiful Lake Nantahala. Lake Nantahala has 3800 surface acres and 42 miles of shoreline, of which 97% is National Forest. Lake Nantahala is a beautiful, peaceful area with pristine crystal clear waters.
Home is 4 bedrooms, 4 full baths, sleeps 14, living area with wood burning fireplace, fully equipped kitchen for cooking and serving, microwave, refrigerator, ice maker, cooking utensils provided, dishwasher, kitchenette, washer and dryer, phone, satellite TV, DVD player w/ selection of movies included, BBQ grill, pool table, theater room, and covered deck. Our home is also handicap accessible. We have a portable ramp for the main entrance and all door openings are 36". The master bath is equipped with a hand bar in the large walk-in shower and a corner bench and there is also a hand bar next to the toilet. Please call to discuss any special needs and to verify that our home will meet your requirements.
Rental includes canoe, kayaks, and pontoon equipped with tube, ropes, and life vests. May 3rd - August 29th rentals require boat and is included in rental rate. Boat should be available for rent March 22nd - September 15th under normal lake conditions. Our 24' pontoon is included in the rental price. This will save you over $1,400.00 in weekly boat rental fees.
Home is perfect for family vacations, family reunions, or get together with friends.
This is our family lake home, not a sterile rental unit. It is furnished and appointed like you would expect a home to be. The beds all have pillow top mattresses with quilted comforters. You will find our fishing poles and tackle boxes right where we left them for you to use. The theater room is a great place for the whole family to watch a movie after a long day on the lake. Our DVD collection features 50 movies with something for everyone. '
Most homes on Lake Nantahala have a steep set of several dozen steps down to the lake. Our home has a very gradual path of about 70 ft from the house to the dock. We have a private dock. Many homes that claim to be lakefront, actually are lake view and share a lake access and dock with several other families.
Our 24' x 16' lakeside deck is the perfect place to relax and watch the children swim. Then enjoy a lakeside dinner on the 12' picnic table that seats 14. There is a charcoal grill on this deck in addition to the gas grill on the main deck. Our home has central heat and air, because it is located at over 3000 ft of elevation you rarely need the air conditioning at night. Once you experience Lake Nantahala, vacationing on any other lake becomes out of the question.

2nd Floor: 2 bedrooms both w/ king beds & TV's, 1 full bath
Lower Level: 1 bedroom w/ two bunk beds all w/ double mattresses on top & bottom (4 beds), 1 full bath, pool table, theatre room, & kitchenette.
Payment: $1000.00 deposit is required to secure reservation, then becomes a damage deposit after check in. Damage deposit is not applied to rent. Full payment is due 60 days prior to arrival. We accept Visa, MasterCard, & Discover credit cards, money orders, cashiers checks, and personal checks. Damage deposit is refundable given there is no damage or missing items after checkout.
Cancellation Policy: 60 day cancellation policy. If cancellation is made outside of 60 days prior to arrival date, deposit will be refunded less a one night cancellation fee. Should cancellation occur inside 60 days prior to arrival, the deposit becomes nonrefundable.
Rental Capacity: Please note the maximum number of people this unit sleeps is 14, this number includes children.
Must be at least 25 years of age to rent house.

This is our second home on Lake Nantahala. We had so many friends and guests who wanted to use our other home we didn't have enough time for ourselves. If you have never visited Lake Nantahala you are missing the most beautiful lake east of the Rockies.
