(transcribed from the Guest Book at the home)On Wednesday night we walked over to Alice Keck park, as we did every night of our visit and we stumbled across a group of Celtic musicians playing in the spiral walkway under a beautiful old tree. The effect was magincal. Our 2 yr old son ran over and listened, mesmerized, calling for “more” when the song ended. And that is how our visit to the Historic Downtown Cottage has been. Unexpected , magical, mesmerizing moments.

(transcribed from the Guest Book at the home)Our 25th wedding anniversary trip! This house is perfect..the location alloweduus to enjoy so much the area has to offer. We rode bikes on the beach, swam in the pool, browsed the stores on State Street. Tried so many restaurants…we won’t be hungry for weeks. Plus, we are bringing home many bottles of wine, not available in our area. Woke up every morning to birds singing and the sun coming through windows. The bed is cozy and this home is very restful. Thank you for sharing this home. We will take home sweet memories.

(transcribed from the Guest Book at the property) What a great home away from home! This is such a charming cottage with all the comforts considered! We were able to completely relax in this fine city - drink some great wine and see the sights! Why did these past 5 days have to fly by so quickly?! Thanks for sharing your wonderful home.

(Transcribed from the guest Book at the home) Our winter vacation this year was spent in your charming cottage and in your wonderful city of Santa Barbara! Our goal was to get away from the snow and cold of Boston and Buffalo which we had to remind ourselves of during two days of rain. When the sun came out everything was glorious! This cottage made the week even more enjoyable as it was very comfortable and charming. I loved the details of the renovation and all the comforts the cottage has to offer. We also enjoyed walking in the neighborhood and taking note of the architectural styles of the area. Thank you for th opportunity to stay here and we hope we will return in the future.

(transcribed from the Guest Book at the home) We absolutely had a wonderful time in this house and SB which will last a lifetime in memories. In a time of great stress and excitement this house offered a safe place to work and play. The weather held off and gave us a sunny, windy ceremony on Chase Palm Beach and after the reception the skies opened up and poured. We had 4 great days here and will come back when we can relax and really enjoy the delights of SB.

(transcribed from the Guest Book at the home) What an amazing week we spent in Santa Barbara! The Historic Cottage was like a vacation in itself. The comfy beds and linens, the hot tub (we used it 3x a day). We will most certainly be back. Thank you!

(transcribed from the Guest Book at the property) We spent a beautiful month here, escaping the heat of our desert home. This is a little jewel of a house - everything is beautiful and comfortable. We loved our dinners on the patio, watching the birds visit the fountain and drinking the unbelievably great local wines. But best of all is the convenient location. For folks who normally have to drive 35 miles round trip to do our grocery shopping, being able to walk was a rare treat. State St., the Mission, Rocky Nook Park, the S.B. Bowl and the Santa Barbara Yoga Center are all within a 15 minute walk. And if have only one dinner to eat - go to Opal on State St. We ate our way from one end of town to the other, but found ourselves returning to Opal more often than not. Thanks!
