This residence is on the north side of Western Lake on the corner of Cove Hollow and Blue Stem Lane it is less than a five minute bike ride across the lake to the Beach Club. Walk just two full blocks down the street and you are crossing the bridge to Town Center. It is also just two blocks away from the Phase III 'frog' pool.
Professionally decorated at a standard well above a typical rental. One guest has described it as having a contemporary beach loft feel. This home is for the guest that desires, appreciates, and will take good care of a 'step above' rental. Please see the comments in our guestbook. Many guests have said it has the best layout and nicest decor of any house they've stayed at in Watercolor.

The four single bed bunk room is a great place for kids to sleep, play, and simply be 'lost'. They can be two floors away without getting into trouble and the adults get their peace and quiet.
King size beds in the master and carriage house. Queens in the two guest bedrooms. Four singles and a TV area in the third floor loft.
As a value add, we are pleased to provide you with a local concierge who will present you with keys, a brief orientation to the house, and assist you with any other needs you might have. No fuss with lock boxes or slow responding management offices. Should something not be quite right, it will be taken care of immediately.

My family and I had a wonderful vacation staying in this beautiful home. We have been vacationing in Water Color for the past seven years and have stayed at several homes, this was by far our most memorable stay and vacation. The home is beautiful, was very clean and well stocked. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home.

this home was a wonderful place to vacation. I thought it offered a great location away from all the hustle and bustle yet still close enough to everything we wanted to do in Watercolor. We had 10 people stay between the house and carriage house and had more than enough space. We also spent many great nights in the outdoor cooking area with fireplace. What a great place.
Owner response:Thanks Jim. Hope to have you back soon !

"Stuck in the Sand" is a wonderful home. It is furnished very well and has all the amenities of home and then some. The location of the property is close enough to everything yet it is set on a quiet street (great for kids as not many cars pass by). We did lots of cooking on the wonderful stove in the house and on the grill in the outdoor kitchen. We also enjoyed the outdoor fireplace. It provided a great venue to sit around to drink a glass of wine while allowing the kids to make smores. I would highly recommend this home to any family or families (plenty of room).

One word description: BEAUTY. This is what I would use to describe the setting of this house. From the hanging day bed in the second floor porch to the large stone fire pit in the patio, you can see and feel a special touch in every detail. The Watercolor area is a little heaven on earth. Beach is amazing. This place offers an excellent accomodation for two families traveling together or one large family looking to leave their car in the garage to bike and kayak everywhere.

We just returned home after spending Spring Break 2009 at Watercolor. We loved this house! We especially enjoyed the bike rides to the beach...exploring the bike and walking trails through the woods...kayaking on the lake...biking to Seaside. The location is so peaceful and the Watercolor Resort has so many amenities. We have stayed in numerous vacation homes, but I'd have to say that this one was tops.

I am very familiar with Watercolor (friends and relatives are property owners) and I've vacationed there in excess of 30 times (and evacuated there for 6 weeks after Hurricane Katrina). I rented this house with two other families for a week in summer, 2008, and I'm booking it again this year, this time for two weeks. It's one of the finest houses in one of the best locations in Watercolor. Very upscale and top-of-the line. You want this to be your home, permanently. Everything about this place is great, with plenty of room for 3-4 families (our kids bunked together on the third floor). Easy to bike or walk to the beach, to the lake, to the pools, and to restaurants, but a secluded feel at the same time. This is the home you want to rent.

We had the pleasure of enjoying Stuck in the Sand for five days during the first part of October and couldn't have had a better experience. A beautiful home with wonderful furnishings. Great experience with the owner. If you've got the time, treat yourself and get stuck in the sand.
