The decor is tropical but not tasteless... no large floral prints here... everything is subdued and classy. Hardwood floors and beautiful, comfortable furniture allow its guests to stay in and enjoy time alone or just an elevator ride away puts you within a short walking distance to shops, pubs, numerous restaurants and clubs, it is within a stones throw of a full sized grocery store, pharmacy, international news-stand, banks and public transit.
This building is directly across the street from the highly acclaimed 7 million dollar Arts Park which is home to a beautiful Fountain and several festivals and Art Shows.
No transportation is needed when spending your vacation here... a trolley ride connects you to the beach and eliminates the hassle of parking!!

Hello, My name is Carolyn Angel Spence and I'ld like to thank you in advance for considering my properties as your Vacation destination. Let me begin by letting you know that I have years of experience in the hospitality field as an Interior Decorator for some of South Floridas most renowned hotels... I specialize in high end wallcoverings for 5 Star Hotels and have installations in the Fountainbleu Hotel in Miami Beach, The Diplomat Hotel in Hollywood, The W Hotel in Fort Lauderdale and several Country Clubs and Resorts throughout Florida. I bring my design knowledge and experience of upscale amenitities into my personally owned properties as it gives me great pleasure to provide an outstanding experience for my guests.
The responsibility of handling vacation properties does not end with a confirmed booking and getting paid but should continue throughout the stay by insuring that guests have all needs met and going the extra yard to assist in vacation planning. We offer transportation to and from both airports and ship ports. We ask questions prior to arrival to make sure that at the least... essentials are ready and waiting for our guests. I am currently sitting in the condo as a guest for 2 weeks. I find it absolutely wonderful!! We are more than satisfied with our decision to stay in Hollywood. The area is bit like SOHO in NY with artsy cafes and a very nice mix of cultures. We've met very nice locals and have even been invited out on a sunset boatride... We highly recommend Hollywood as a vacation stay and truly love our condo! Thank you Ms. Spence for such a lovely place! Benjamin and Renee

We spent the month of January 2011 here. The description on the VRBO site at that time was very inaccurate as it stated that there were modern, newer kitchen appliances. NOT!!!. We didn't even have a can opener and had to ask the owner for one. There is only one outlet in the kitchen other than what the refrigerator was plugged into. We had to unplug the microwave to use the coffee pot or the toaster oven. Yes, I said, toaster oven, not even a regular toaster. The bathrooms don't even have toilet paper holders, the plate on the electrical outlet by the sliding glass door was missing and the couch had a hole in the lining so you could see through the couch to the floor. The owner did fix the outlet and the coach, however the couches are very uncomfortable. The unit was not very clean, the glass coffee table was cloudy with film, the kitchen cupboards were dirty, and the bedspread had stains on it. The owner did do our laundry after we used the money she put on a laundry coin card and didn't want to put any more on it. The first two times were good but the last time we didn't have any sheets or towels and at 9:45PM had to call here to find out where our laundry was. She was at her bar and not very receptive to getting the laundry. After an hour she gave us some different sheets and towels and our laundry was given to us the next morning. Needless to say, this was not a pleasant month. I would not recommend this condo to anyone unless they enjoy looking over the beautiful lights of Miami in the evening and that's all. That was the only plus to this unit. The pool is only accessable by a service elevator and you have to have a key to get out to the pool and back into the building. I talked with one lady and she said she didn't have her key and was stranded for two hours at the pool until someone heard her yelling. The area is OK but there is a lot of noise at night, with police sirens, ambulances, garbage trucks making it difficult to sleep at night with the patio doors open. We would not recommend this if you want a relaxing place to stay!
Owner response:In the service industry it is unfortunate but expected to have guests who are unappreciative and impossible to please. This was my first experience with this type of guest and hopefully my last. This guest does not mention that she requested to check in a day earlier than her booking which I honored (at No charge). Her claims of my unit being dirty are totally false... My cleaning team spent the entire day on her unit alone to prepare it for her and her early arrival. It amazes me that she was so unhappy...because she even stayed an extra day at the end... (at No charge).. the outlets and toilet paper holders and hole in the couch comment are also incorrect. The damage caused to the couch was intentionally done by this guest and was repaired by a master upholsterer within 24 hours. I may be nice but I am not a fool. My posting does not claim to have "new" appliances... perhaps buying new appliances between guests is the expectation of this guest. This guest went through the apartment with a fine tooth comb to find anything and everything possible with the hopes of getting money refunded... anyone could see the motive in her complaints. My doing their laundry was not required by me... and again unappreciated. The remainder of her posting isn't even worth commenting on... Nothing was good enough or appreciated by this guest. Not only was she/he rude and condescending to me as their host... but to several people in the building... at the pool and in the lobby. We are happy they are gone and wish them well... I do however suggest that perhaps you book your next vacation in France at the palace and hopefully you will find that accommodating... I doubt it... but would hope so.

Candyce was our guest for what was supposed to be one month. Candyce gave us the pleasure of hosting her from March 1st right up until our first pre-booked return Winter guest arrived. The convenience of this condos location made it possible for her to not only become a full-time Hollywood resident but to gain employment in her field and meet her current fiance'!!! We love stories like this and will be at the wedding scheduled for the Fall of 2011. Best of luck to you Candyce ... you truly became a part of our family!!

We were so pleased with this vacation stay that we extended our trip for an additional 10 days. The views were so beautiful. I must have taken 50 pictures of the different sunsets... Angel was more than any vacationing couple could ask for.. she went out of her way to provide the "little" things that you don't think about when vacationing at the Beach.. such as coolers, beach chairs and even Bicycles!! The building is an older building but that worked out to our advantage.... newer buildings apparently are limited as to how much "window" is allowed. This condo is one HUGE window overlooking the pool (a bit small) and onward to the Beach and city skyline... we love it here and are considering buying here. Thank you so much Angel for such a lovely vacation! Love Sarah!
