Our family of 5 stayed here 4 nights. It was our favorite lodging during our two-week vacation in Italy. Lots of space. Terrace provides great outdoor area. Two bathrooms (one with just toilet and sink in the second bedroom). Shower is really a spray attachment added to the bathtub faucet with no shower curtain, but the hot water and water pressure were great. Kitchen has everything we needed and the grocery store is in the train station at the end of the block, a short 5-minute walk. The flat's 5th floor location means no noise. Elevator is tiny and slow, but at least there is one. We could only fit two people with luggage at a time. Place was clean and contained amenities we weren't expecting, like a hair dryer and TV (not that we watched any). Being close to the train station meant we could hop on the subway or bus easily to get to all the major sites. Alexandra was very accommodating and met me at 6 a.m. to return our security deposit so we could catch an early train to Florence. Thanks, Alexandra! This place is a great value if you are going to Rome and don't mind staying away from the tourist sites.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with young children, adventure seekers, families with teenagers.

We stayed here for seventeen days and found it to be a perfect venue. The location is ideal, near many sights, all transportation and excellent restaurants. A grocery store, internet location and laundry are also nearby. The apartment is very comfortable and immaculate. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the morning and after a day of touring. We found the description to be very accurate, in fact, the apartment is even better than it looks! Alexandra was there to meet us and was most helpful in getting us situated in our neighborhood. We would definitely recommend this property and will return should we visit Rome again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with young children, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We stayed here in June 2011. Excellent location for those arriving by train. Despite being so close to the station, noise was not a problem and we felt safe in the location. Photos and description reflect the reality, except that wireless internet access was not available despite being advertised. If you are using apartment accommodation so you can cater for some meals, ask for directions to the local supermarket for supplies - it was in a basement area of the station shopping mall. Apartment compact but clean and functional, with good balcony. Luckily it was not too hot yet, as there was no fan or functioning air conditioner. Alex met us with the key and information, very good English and very patient as our train arrived hours late - thanks Alex. Would recommend to others.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with teenagers.
Owner response: Thank you for your note! I'm sorry for internet. There has been a misunderstanding. Anyway in the rate details there is written: "Laptop apple / internet / mobile phone for international call on demand". I changed the advertisement writing better that internet is an extra. Thanks again Regards Regards

This property is well located near the Termini train and metro station and we were able to easily get around the city from this location. The outside deck is a nice feature. The owner was easy to work with for check in and check out. The bathrooms reflect the age of the building and there was some loud street nice a couple of evenings.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with young children, families with teenagers.

My adult daughter and I spent a week at this apartment and were quite pleased with it. Four stars only because the shower is quite small and difficult to maneuver in, but in all other ways was more than adequate. Being so close to the Termini, we had close access to Metro, train, bus or taxi to anywhere we chose to go. I would strongly recommend against having a rental car in Rome; more trouble and expense than it is worth. We were late in arriving to the apartment on our first day, but Alex, the apartment manager, who speaks excellent English, was there patiently waiting for us, and toured the apartment for us, and gave us recommendations on places to go, and tips on how to get around. The elevator is small, but mostly reliable, which was greatly appreciated. We felt very safe in the neighborhood, even at night, and street noise was never a problem. For convenience of location, and basic, yet comfortable accommodations, I do recommend this for your home away from home in Roma.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We stayed in this apartment for two weeks in October 2010 and walked away satisfied. The only reason we did not give it the highest rating is that the furniture in the apartment was somewhat shabby; however, the apartment and its furnishings were fully functional and we had everything we needed to cook one meal a day (two friends joined us for a few days and were satisfied with their stay, too). The location of the apartment is a 100 yards from Stazione Termini and most convenient regarding all kinds of transportation around the city, and to/from the city. Termini has been refurbished and includes what amounts to a full shopping mall with two supermarkets and all kinds of stores either travelers or people living nearby need; most convenient. We felt that the area was quite secure and the nights were rather quiet after 10 at night (almost unbelievable so close to a major train station). We felt that the internet representation of the apartment was correct in all essential aspects. The owner was responsive in our pre-arrival contacts and the young woman who met us upon arrival was most helpful, too. We would recommend it and we intend to keep the contact in case we wish to return to Rome at some point in the future.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Our family of four (including our 13 year old son and 11 year old daughter) had a wonderful time staying in this apartment in March 2010. The apartment is described accurately and the owner was very easy to deal with. It is also clean and has plenty of room. Its central locatation, close to Termini shopping area, the Train, Bus and Taxi terminus and within walking distance of the Repubblica facility make it a good place to stay for families. This made it so easy to vist all of Romes tourist sites (and there are many). The apartment itself is quiet, safe and secure. It has an excellent lift; a great luxury for those like us that had four sets of luggage. We would love to stay here again if we have another chance to visit Rome.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

I stayed at this apartment with my mom and sister in October 2008. The location could not be more perfect - steps away from the Termini station - so no hiking to metro or to the train. The apartment is on a high floor, so it is quiet even if there is a lot going on outside. The patio is fantastic for just hanging out after a day of sightseeing. We enjoyed the amenities which are basic, but quite sufficient. The beds are comfortable and there is a lot of space in this apartment, so you don't feel cramped in.We really loved it and the landlord was very accommodating. We are planning on returning and renting the same apartment - thank you very much.Did you find this review helpful?
