Great way to start our married life!!

Date of Stay: 02/04/12 Review Submitted: 03/03/12

In truth we've lived together for 24 years and have two children (17 & 21) but we wanted to make it official! My wife loves research and contacted numerous people/properties in regards to staying on Grand Cayman. Without doubt John's was the most friendly and helpful response/s we obtained. This added to the photos sent, showing the beauty of the place, caused us to quickly decide - a decision we did not regret. Plus's > the Condo felt like home from home - the facilities supplied were great. The place was lovely inside, there were tv's in the lounge (with playstation etc) and the bedrooms. The kitchen had all the necessary items and, whilst we didn't want to do too much washing on holiday the machine and tumble did come in useful for towels etc. The 'patio' area was a fantastic place to sit, especially at night, to watch the sun go down - the skies were amazing. > the beach outside was excellent. Whilst we were there we were more often than not the only people there and you were never bothered by others. The pool was also very nice to relax in. > the yacht club, next door, was a good place to grab a snack (bbq night was enjoyable), or a drink, and never caused us any issues in regards to noise etc. > we got married on the beach immediately outside and the background to our photos were unbelievable > amongst others we visited 'Sting Ray' City, 'Rum Point' (5 mins away) - an excellent shallow watered beach with good snorkel opportunities (saw stingray's, puffer fish and a resident 'friendly' barracuda) 'George Town' (45 mins away) - for shopping, access to 'Seven Mile Beach', access to 'Hell' and my sons did some scuba diving (they loved the 'deep dives' and 'Kittiwake') Minus's - there wasn't actually anything that caused us a problem but things to note are: > you will need a car - whilst the place is beautiful, secluded and quiet, it also means that there's not too many places you can reach on foot > we didn't spend too long in the sea immediately outside - due to its nature (calm, lots of underwater plants) it wasn't the clearest, it sloped away quickly and was home to numerous jelly fish, which I was told wouldn't sting, as well as a lionfish or two which didn't bother you but nonetheless were there. I understand you could walk further along the section for better waters but we preferred to do the 5 min drive to Rum Point (not only a better beach but had water sports etc). Overall - we were very happy and would certainly stay in John's condo again.

AMAZING- BEAUTIFUL- BREATHTAKING

First of all AMAZING- is an understatement. The condo was clean-updated-beautiful. John, the owner, was very helpful with Everything. We arrived at the airport and had McHurley's Tours pick us up and we headed to the grocery and liquor store. The food was high quality, everything you have at home. Prices are high, but not too crazy. A case of beer- miller lite/corona- was $50. Liquor is about $10 more than in the states. Get some charcoal so you can grill on the beach. We arrived at the condo, and our rental van was already there. We made dinner and sat on the patio , for most breakfast and evening meals, beautiful. Definantly try to do the Jet Ski tour to Stingray City with Fat Fish Adventures- Ask for Richard. Four couples, we all fed, kissed and held the stingray. Then rode the jet ski's to snorkle, then to play with the starfish, then to rum point for a beer, and back across the water during sunset- It was GREAT!! We also drove into town one day and went to seven mile beach and it was beautiful AND CROWDED. We drove one mile down the road to Rum Point- A MUST- and it was like walking into a postcard. grab a hammock or a few beach chairs and chill all day, then head back to the condo for a drink and a nap. We have traveled throughout the world and in one trip have fallen in love with this island. The condo was very clean and stocked with everything you need. The Kaibo Bar and Grill was right nextdoor and they have a great Wed night BBQ with a band. Walk down the beach in the afternoon and you can pick up 4-5 starfish and hold them- great photo op. This is the condo we will come back to next spring- with the kids this time. Thaks to John and his family for allowing us to stay at such an amazing place.

Perfect!!

We are a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teens), and recently stayed 10 wonderful days at this condo. From the first point of contact with John the owner, until the final note of appreciation we received, we were totally impressed with his professional and welcoming style. It really helped us decide on this location. We arrived Christmas Day and the excitement on our teenagers' faces matched any gift they ever rec'd. The unit is pristine, modern, well appointed and spacious. The kitchen has everything you would need, and then some. There are bikes to use, toys for younger kids, books, tv, internet, snorkeling equipment etc etc The master bedroom is very spacious, with a great ensuite. Bed was better than home! The pool area is even better than the pictures show, and as it turns out we spent many hours there just reading, swimming and watching the boats come and go from the yacht club next door. We also liked that the complex has close proximity to Rum Point, where we spent many afternoons-love that place! Every morning we walked to Star Fish Point (quietest time, no people) The entire Cayman Kai neighborhood started to feel like home immediately, which helped us decompress after a very busy year. After visiting 7 Mile Beach for an afternoon, we (including our teens) patted ourselves on the back for opting to stay on the North side. Needless to say we didnt want to leave. Thank you to John and his family for creating a fabulous experience in beautiful Cayman Kai. We hope to return.

A fantastic location, super helpful owner!

This condo really does look like all the pictures. Our stay with small children was fantastic as they could be on the beach or in the pool but quickly run back and forth to the condo as needed. However it was the extra touches that really made this place special. The owner sent piles of information about the island. Lots of extras were also available in the condo including water toys, a stroller, movies...One of our favourite features was the guest book that other visitors used to list comments and suggestions about the islands. It was like having an additional tour guide staying with us. Be aware this condo is a distance from town and the grocery store. Since we live in the country this was the ideal setting for us and we didn't mind the driving. However it may not be the location for some. A wonderfully peaceful location.

Awesome Experience - Can't Wait To Go Back!

I can't say enough good things about our experience renting this condo! This place had everything we needed for a great vacation! Dishes, pots, pans, utenils, small appliances down to an awesome blender! The view is stunning & the Kaibo beach bar right next door is an added bonus. I've also never worked with a more helpful and professional owner. Working out the details of the rental with John was so easy and we will definitely rent from him again. Grand Cayman in general is a beautiful island. There's plenty to do but you don't feel like you're rushed to cram everything in. Stingray City is a must! There's also beautiful snorkeling and quiet uncrowded little beaches everywhere you turn. There's also plenty to do even if you're not a "beach person". Even with a couple of cruise ships in port during out visit, Georgetown wasn't what I consider super crowded. They're ususally gone by 4pm anyway. I highly recommend visiting Grand Cayman & I highly recommend renting this condo - you won't be disappointed with either!

Absolutely Perfect!!!

Guest: Josh (Minneapolis)
Date of Stay: 07/21/11 Review Submitted: 08/21/11

First off, the location is perfect. The condo is in a very family friendly complex and nestled in a perfect part of the island. Rum Point and Starfish beach are minutes away and in my opinion the best two beaches on the entire island. John, the owner, goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is not only comfortable, but he also leverages his experience on the island to offer great suggestions on what to do, where to go, and when to go there. This type of inside information proved to be invaluable to us since this was our first visit to the island. The condo itself was in the perfect location, well decorated, extremely clean, in a safe area, and since it was on the first floor the ocean is steps away from you back door. I would not hesitate to recommend Blue S'Kai to anyone visting Grand Cayman, whether it is for a first time visit or you have been going for years. John truly takes a lot of the guesswork out of traveling and offers up great accomodations to boot! He was always in constant contact and very easy to communicate with. Do yourself a favor and visit Blue S'Kai, you will be glad you did!!!!

I would highly recommend! The condo was nicely decorated, clean, fully equipped and had all the extras one may need while on vacation. John was extremely helpful with suggestions and answering ALL my many questions before our family left for the Caymans. We liked the location too...beautiful and not crowded! And we enjoyed driving around the island, and seeing all its beauty! Driving on the left was interesting, my husband drove and I constantly kept saying "stay on your left, stay on your left"...actually it was not bad at all! We hope and pray to one day return..until then we have GREAT memories!

Review of Blue S'Kai

Guest: G-fource (Indiana, USA)
Date of Stay: 05/29/11 Review Submitted: 06/22/11

We stayed 7 days at Blue S'Kai the first week of June. It was absolutely wonderful. The condo was so beautifully decorated and clean and comfortable. We rented a car through McCurly's per John's recommendation and were so pleased with this service as well.(our plane was 4 hours late and McCurly was still waiting for us) We appreciated John's enthusiasm to share his home and his ideas for things to do. We explored all of Grand Cayman. We enjoyed 7 Mile Beach, Smith's Cove and the East End beaches, including viewing the blow holes and the Wreck of the 10 Sails. We loved eating lunch at Tukka (great presentation of food, they gave us binoculars to view the wrecks) We went to Stingray City, thanks Capt. Jimmy! Rum Point was fantastic, we went almost everyday. We got carry out from next door Kaibo bar and grill and ate it on our screened in porch. It was quiet and safe. We walked down the beach to Starfish Point and rode the bikes there, too. Thank you for all of the comforts of home, the bottled water, the washer and dryer, the linens and beach towels, the cell phone, the pool toys. Everything was beyond our expectations. Truly a great time was had by all.

Lovely visit to a lovely island

Date of Stay: 04/13/11 Review Submitted: 05/02/11

This lovely, clean unit located in the Kaibo yacht club was a lovely spot to visit while we attended a friends wedding. We stayed for 5 days and loved it. It was exactly as represented and the owner/renter was an absolute pleasure to work with. Kaibo is on the quiet end of the island which we loved, but you definitely need a car to get around. Having a pool right on the beach was a really fun option! Loved having a well appointed kitchen with spices and condiments as well as a grill right outside the patio door. By far the walk to Starfish beach was well worth it, it is truly a stunning spot--but go during the week if you can. Rum point is also a lovely spot, but a car is a good option for getting up there. We planned a bit ahead and brought food in from the US and had ZERO problems doing so. This was a great option since we had a great kitchen and grill. Comfortable beds (super important when you have a bad back!) and just a lovely spot overall. I would recommend it to anybody looking for a quiet beach visit with the option for close-by partytown capabilities :)

Spring Break

Guest: Marilyn (Green Bay, WI)
Date of Stay: 03/19/11 Review Submitted: 03/30/11

We loved this condo. It is very warm, inviting and quite comfortable. Having breakfast and relaxing on the screened in porch is like being on the beach! And, it's only steps to the pool. There is a very good restaurant right next door which is convenient, especially when you arrive late. We put the bikes and snorkel equipment to good use. Rum point is just down the road and what a beautiful and friendly beach resort! Starfish beach is just down another road and it is awesome. We found five huge starfish! The condo has everything you could need. We had the manager grocery shop for us so we had breakfast and lunch fare waiting for us upon arrival. There is also a washer and dryer so we didn't bring a lot of clothes (one small suitcase each). We relaxed on the beach all day and watched movies in the evening. There are several very good restaurants nearby in addition to the one next door: Rum Point Restaurant, Over the Edge and The Lighthouse-all delicious. It couldn't have been a more relaxing vacation. We were relaxed there, came home relaxed and had the smoothest transition back into our lives ever!

Stayed 3/6 - 3/11. Beautiful spot isolated from the hutle and bustle, but only 40 minutes or so to the center of town. This is a spot for families looking for great swimming and snorkeling. rum point is a mile or so down the road with some great shallow snorkeling and cocktails of course. You will need to rent a car in order to go to various restaurants on the north side and we took day trips to several of the suggested snorkeling spots John recommended. Smith/Barcadere cove was exceptional, shallow for kids but great rock and coral formations in about 20ft of water just off the beach. Kaibo yacht club is right next door and has good food and drink. the condo was clean and very well stocked. We bought way to many groceries and had to give away lots of stuff to neighbors before we left. So i would keep it simple. The previous post stated that the water was "stagnant" in front of condo which is absolutey not true. it is not as clear as many parts of the island because it is more of a marina/cove but we swam there every day and it was fine. Again, you will want to have a car in order to get to the reefs and rocks at various spots around island. this was a perfect base for island exploration. Thanks John, we look forward to returning.

Very enjoyable and relaxing holiday!

Guest: Chrissy (Campbellville, Ontario, Canada)
Date of Stay: 02/06/11 Review Submitted: 03/06/11

My husband and I stayed at the Blueskai for 10 days. We actually got married on Barkers Beach in West Bay. It was a very relaxing holiday after the formalities of the wedding were over. The condo is very clean and big with all the amenities one needs. The kitchen is very well stocked with dishes and cooking utensils. Just outside the porch is the pool which is for exclusive Kaibo Phase II tenants. The beach is gorgeous. The only reason I did not give the rating of 5 stars for this vacation rental is the location. The water outside of the condo is a rather stagnant bay not ideal for swimming. To go swimming or snorkeling you need to drive 3 minutes down the road to Rum Point. Having said that we didn't mind at all and if we did want to go for a dip we used the pool. Thanks John for making this a wonderful vacation.

Great Stay!

Guest: Carter Family (chicago, il)
Date of Stay: 01/26/11 Review Submitted: 02/14/11

Just returned from our stay here at Blue Skai. We loved it. My wife is 6 months pregnant and we have a 2 year old son so being literally right on the beach and 2 feet to the pool was a huge plus. And having the Kaibo bar directly next door (like a 30 second walk) was also nice. We were there for a week which I think is a good amount of time to spend in the Cayman Kai area. It is a pretty good drive from Georgetown and Seven Mile (about 45-50 min) so we only made it there once. There are 2 restaurants very close but if you are looking for more of a scene with nightlife and restaurants, this is not the place. It worked perfectly for us. We enjoyed how quiet it was. We went to town and SMB and felt much more relaxed when we returned to the condo. We also went to the turtle farm. It is a very long drive from the condo (about 1hr), it is 18 dollars a person, and it's basically just huge sea turtles in very small pools. It took us about 10 minutes to go through. Our son did like it, but he also like the Botanic Farm near the condo (which is 6 dollars) and has huge blue iguanas. We did the Stingray City tour from Rum Point. We took the glass bottom boat at 9:30, which is the earliest trip and 15 dollars cheaper. It was 1.5 hours long, with the stingrays and then some snorkeling. This was a perfect amount of time for our 2 year old. There was also no cruise ships in that day and it was early so we were the only boat at stingray city. All in all, we loved every minute of Cayman and Blue Skai. Would return again in a heartbeat. Thank you.

We had a great time - the condo is very well equipped, and the location is fabulous! Great views, mostly quiet, with the beach and pool right outside the porch, and the Kaibo Yacht Club restaurant and bar less than a minute's stroll away. We received plenty of information from John by email to get organised, and I can't recommend the place highly enough. It's quite a long drive from Georgetown, but we much preferred the remoteness and tranquility, which you wouldn't get on Seven Mile Beach... Wish we could have stayed longer!

We had such a wonderful, relaxing week. The owner had given us a lot of information: driving directions, things to do, where to shop and dine. The condo is very clean, well stocked, and literally on the beach. We explored the east side of the island, went to the Seven Miles beach, but our favorite is the Rum Point beach, which is a five minutes drive. We wish there were more choices for eating out close by. Our favorite meal was at the Upstairs restaurant next door, and The Lighthouse and the brazilian steakhouse were also outstanding. We did not visit Stingray City this time, as we were able to see a few stingrays at the Rum Point beach. Thank you John, we will return someday soon; we also recommended this condo to our friends.

After searching for a place to stay on Grand Cayman. We stumbled on this one, and glad we did. Out of all the people we contacted about renting there condos. The owner of this one. was by far the most helpful, and inforative. He Told the best places to eat, shop, attractions to see, and who to rent a car from. The condo is decorated with a nice island feel, and most inportant. it was "spotless". Very well taken care of. The pictuer of the palm trees you see on this review page is right out the back door. The water is within 100 feet of the door, and the best restaraunt, and tiki bar is wthin 200 feet to the right of the back door. I could go on and on, but before you make a decision on another condo, or place to stay. Do yourself a favor, and the rest of your family, or friends. Contact the owner of this condo. you wont be disappointed. This where we will stay every time we go back.

My husband & I visited Grand Cayman the last week in September. The directions were perfect, as we drove straight to the condo (after stopping to stock up at Hurley's). The condo was exactly as described. It was clean and well stocked. The location was perfect. Kaibo was a few steps away, as was the water. Unfortunately, we had some poor weather the last two days, but the condo had plenty of movies and books! We also took that opportunity to drive to Georgetown. We are much more interested in relaxing than dealing with the crowds and that was exactly what we got! This is perfect for a laid back couple or two, or a small family. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

John, The condo was exactly as you described and depicted -- maybe even better. It was also the cleanest rental unit we have ever had. Your help throughout the process, along with Barbara's help while we were on the island, was top notch. Nearby Rum Point, snorkeling with the starfish at the end of the road, Stingray City, the waverunner safari from Red Sail Sports (highly recommended), dinner at Kaibo, and so much more made for a wonderful vacation. We'd definitely return here when back on the island. WONDERFUL RENTAL!!!

Lucky you if you secure this condo! Our family had a wonderful week on Grand Cayman Island due in large part to this great property and the attention of the owners to ensure that we would enjoy our time on this beautiful island. We have rented other properties through VRBO and have always had a good experience. However, the owners of this property were the most helpful in giving us suggestions both prior to our departure and during our time on Grand Cayman. Attention to detail to every aspect of this property is apparent both before your arrival and when you walk in the door. The view is spectacular and the interior is extremely comfortable with many, many amenities including bikes to use and a cell phone ready with useable minutes. Thank you for making our stay on Grand Cayman Island perfect!

If you are looking for a really cool private getaway in the middle of paradise, come to Blue S'kai located in Cayman Kai. This quaint condo has very nice up-to-date furnishings and a wonderful view of the marina and calm bay waters. Now, for the really cool things this place has to offer you will be blown away: snorkel gear, bikes, cell phone, grocery concierge (concierge is for a very small fee, but so worth it), ipod receivers, bottled water, screened-in-porch, hot tub and pool. Oh, and I almost forgot, in case you need a frozen drink to wash down those economic blues, the Kaibo Yacht Club tiki bar is only a few 'barefoot' steps away. Now, if you can figure out how to befriend a captain at the marina, you have got it made!

Our family of 4 (2 kids- 14 and 9 y/o boys) stayed at Blue S'Kai June 13-27, 2010. From the first moment I contacted John in August 2009 to a month after our stay he has been amazing! Questions answered almost immediately, information galore full of suggestions on what to do/where to go, detailed driving directions from airport to the front door...and Barbara was the icing on the cake! The condo manager was so very welcoming and helpful! She had groceries waiting for us on our Sunday arrival, and, when the cable went out (had to have for the guys and the World Cup games!) she contacted the cable company immediately to have them out for repair. Location was prime and exactly what we were looking for...away form the touristy areas, quiet, yet offering plenty to keep the boys busy (fishing, swimming, ect) and allow Mom and Dad time to chill! Having the yacht club next door made lunches easy for those days we didn't want to cook, and for a convenient evening out for Mom and Dad. Rum Point is just down the road for a different beach experience, trips to Stingray City (a most-do!), and mudslides. I am already putting info together for our next trip to GC and this condo is at the top of my list! Thanks again, John!! The Waller Family

Our week in Cayman Kai was one of the best vacations we ever had. From the locale, to the condo, to the food and excursions, the trip went beyond our expectations. We did not want to come back to the states. We truly enjoyed being in the laid back atmosphere of Cayman Kai. All the recommendations from the owner for restaurants and excursions were great! If you are a boater, please ask about boat rental availability from property manager, Barbara. This was one of the best parts of our trip. We could snorkel away from crowds, visit sting ray city when the tours had left for the day and go on our time frame. We will be back. Thanks John for all the help! You made this a memorable trip for our family.

This condo is beautiful, and in the perfect location. All of the information the owner gave us regarding dining and things to do was so helpful and accurate. We especially enjoyed the Red Sail Sports waverunner snorkeling trip from Rum Point, and the Water's Edge restaurant. We all agree that this was our favorite beach vacation, and we would love to return to this condo!

Our trip was great. The condo is beautiful and right on the beach. It was in a quiet area of Cayman and being on the first floor was great. We loved the fact you could open your slider and the beach was right there. The condo has an X-Box, puzzles and board games if you want to take a break from the sun. The condo pictures are exactly what the place looks like. Amazing !!! You feel at home on the beach. The Yaught Club next door is a great place for lunch or dinner. The owner went above and beyond, he gave us directions, restaurant ideas, sites to see, rental car information, he answered all questions and never felt we were a bother when we called with questions. We have stayed in Cayman before and this is by far the best!!!!!!! We have booked our next trip and will be staying here again. I will recommend this place to my friends and co workers. Thank you

We stayed at Blue S'Kai from 2/20-2/26. This is a wonderful location, and the owner really went out of his way to make our visit enjoyable. The condo is new, very comfortable, has a wonderful screened-in porch on the sand, and is located right next a wonderful bar with incredible drinks! You need to rent a car, but we easily got around the island all week. We went to Rum Point a lot, and Morritt-Tortuga for some Water sports. Red Sail Sports was excellent. If you really like the 7 Mile Beach scene, you should not rent here. It is more laid back and relaxing. We did go to town/7 Mile twice though. Highly Recommended!

Hey John. Thankyou again for the use of your condo it was amazing. The diving was great. I am used to cold water diving so it was great to not have to use a wet suit and have such great visibility. I dove through redsail and dove two places off of the East side, but can't remember the spots. One was a bowl, but thats all I remember. The group was actually really good and I would recommend them. I also shore dove with a local at Eden Rock and went out to devils grotto. That was my favorite dive. Lots of tunnels to go through and great visibility. Highly recommended. All in all the weather was really good. Only one afternoon and night of rain. We did go to stingray city. We went through your recommendation of Peter at Fat Fish Adventures. Lee actually led our trip. It was one of our favorite parts of our trip. The tour was awesome and WELL worth the money. Would have liked to have done the lobster and stingray city trip instead of the snorkel and stingray city trip, but I am not complaining. Went to Rum Point almost everyday via the bikes. Loved having the bikes and rode them almost everyday. Rum point was beautiful. We actually walked down the beach a ways and had our own private beach in front of a vacant house. Much more relaxing than the crowds at Rum Point. As far as the condo is concerned it was a perfect location and John was very accomidating. He had lots of advice and answered the tons of questions I had for him. Out of all of the places (and there were a lot) that we considered renting this was definatly the best choice.(We went and checked the others out.) The condo was very quite and romantic. We loved the lanai that led right out to the sand and opened to the water. We actually renewed our vows right under the palm trees by the water. It was great!!! Thanks Again!

We stayed at the condo for 9 nights and had a great time. The condo was better than described in the listing. It was nicely decorated and very clean with lots of extras. We couldn't believe that the beach and pool were just steps (in the sand) from our back door. During our stay in January we felt like we had the place all to ourselves. Grocery stores were clean and well stocked with everything you could imagine. We took several drives around the island in our rental car. After the first two days of driving on the left, we seemed to get the hang of it. The local people were very friendly and helpful. We felt very safe at Blue S'Kai and would recommend it to all.

This location and condo is great! You walk right out your door past the association pool onto the private beach area. The pool is nice and has a hot tub. The association supplies chairs for the pool and the sand beach. The washer, dryer, dishwasher, and air conditioning bring all the conveniences of home to your vacation. We packed 1/2 as much, because we simply washed and wore our clothes more than once. Because the condo has a fully stocked kitchen (cookware, dishes, food storage, etc.), we bought food at a well-stocked grocery store and prepared our own meals. This was a great cost-saver and allowed us to eat out when we felt like it, rather than because we had to. This condo has bikes available for use and sand toys for the kids. We couldn't use the bikes, because our 5-year old was a little too small, but next year we will! The condo was spotless when we arrived, and the water dispenser (5 gallon) was so handy and tasted great, although we read that it probably is okay to drink the water. We used tap water for brushing out teeth, washing food, and cooking. We were fine. John, the owner, provided us all sorts of good tips for fun things to do. Plus we found guide books in the condo. We did everything we wanted to do. Snorkel, snorkel, snorkel (gear available in the condo, but we brought our own), and play in the sand. We went to Stingray City (a must do) and visited a number of different beaches every day. It is worth spending the time in the car to explore beaches all over the island. You never know when you'll find one you want to return to. There were 3 of us, and we all highly recommend Blue S'Kai condo. It's nicely furnished and situated in a great location. We loved the Kaibo area, because it was relaxed an low key. At Christmastime there were as many as 5 people at the pool or beach at one time. Very peacful but still fun!

My husband & I have stayed in this unit twice once in May 2009 and then again in Sept. 2009. It is in a wonderful, picturesque location on the island, away from the hustle & bustle. It is an excellent neighborhood for walking & bike riding, not to mention the gorgeous water. I highly recommend this unit and plan to stay here again when returning to the island.

I stayed in this wonderful, fully equipped condo in June, 2009 and couldn't have asked for anything more. It is very family friendly and loved the quiet side location. The owners were very gracious and helpful. It was very clean and our only regret was that we didn't stay longer. We took our 4 year old grandson and it was quiet, large enough for us and though it seemed far from 7 mile beach, we relished the tranquility it offered us on that side of the island. We look forward to staying here again in the near future.

We stayed at Johns condo for ten nights in July 2009. We had a fantastic time with perfect weather and great company. John made the whole experience of booking Kaibo hassle free from start to finish. The property was clean and comfortable, the fridge on arrival had ice and beer and life on the beach was idyllic. Kaibo is pretty much out of the way but as we have been to Cayman before we knew exactly what we were looking for and the peace and quiet was rejuvinating. We spent family time together with our teenage children and reinvented the art of conversation. Days slipped by at the pool with evenings at Kaibo yacht club. Its difficult to say what was our abiding memory of Kaibo but my wife and I sipping ice cold Chenin Blanc and eating Calamari whilst watching the sun set is right up there. Thanks for the memories John, your property is all you claim it to be and so much more. You are indeed blessed

We stayed at Blue S'Kai this past March. It is a wonderful place. The condo is excellent and just the right size for our family of four. It was OK to cook and clean for ourselves, some of the time, as the only thing we had to do afterwards was relax and hit the beach. So much easier than having to go to work. Grand Cayman is an excellent Caribbean vacation spot. It is small, safe, warm and full of friendly people. It is a bit expensive but certainly worth the expense to get these added benefits compared to other Caribbean islands we have visited. Getting around is very easy - once you learn how to drive on the "wrong" side of the road. We are definitely planning to go there again and we'll certainly stay at Blue S'Kai.

We had a wonderful time during our stay in April. The condo is clean, well appointed, and very comfortable. The back door opens onto the beach. We enjoyed the pool and having dinner in the screened patio. Kaibo Yacht Club next door is very convenient, and we were only minutes away from Rum Point. This is a top notch facility and you won't be disappointed.

What a lovely area of Grand Cayman and a fabulous condo! We've been all over the Caribbean, and "Blue S'Kai" has the best view right out the door we've had yet. The north end of the island is definitely the place to stay; it's quiet yet has restaurants close by and other amenities just a short drive away. Thank you so much!

This is just a fantastic condo in a fabulous location. All of the amenities are beautiful and new. It is very uncrowded and serene during the week, many times we had the pool and beach to ourselves. Good food next door at the Kaibo and down the street at Rum Point. The location is very secluded at the end of the road and my family felt like it was home for a week. My teenage boys loved the pool, the xbox and the dvds. John provides everything you could need, you wont find a nicer condo in the Caymans for this price.

We had an amazing time in Grand Cayman thanks to you! It's hard to say what the best part was... The condo is far enough from the main tourist hub, yet a simple drive if that's what you're looking for. We enjoyed the beautiful view, the pool with the disappearing edge leading out into the water, the Kaibo restaruant/bar right next door, the beautiful way the condo was decorated, the easy access to snorkeling, the warm sun and the sand between our toes... magnificent! We would recommend this condo to anyone. It was equipped with anything we or our kids would need for a great vacation. We went to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary, and will probably bring the kids along the next time. We can't wait to go back! Thanks for the opportunity!

This was our third trip to Grand Cayman, first time at Cayman Kai. We hope to be back soon! We are four adults - parents with two university age children - three very avid scuba divers and a snorkeler. We were here from Aug 6 to Aug 14, 2008. The condo has a great "feel" to it - beautifully and appropriately decorated as well as very well equipped. The ability to walk out onto the beach, to the pool, next door to the restaurant, or down the road to great snorkeling is amazing. We were all very comfortable and happy. The drive into George Town area for the first 3 days of boat diving was easy - no longer than the average office commute - without the traffic. - Watch out for those land crabs though! The next 3 days of scuba (boat) was done out of the East End - also an easy drive and the final day was a boat dive out of Rum Point to the North Wall - amazing. Incredible snorkeling and shore dives as well. The sunset cruise out of Rum point on a Catamaran was good too. In the evenings we were generally too tired to face going out much so only ate out a couple of times. We shopped and cooked at "home." John gave us great advice; directions etc and we can highly recommend this condo!

We spent 4 great days here with two jr. high age boys. They had a great time with there own room and bathroom! Everything was so great, still has that new smell and feel to the place. You can't beat this location, walk down the street and find football size starfish, right off the beach! This condo is stocked with all new everything from furniture to the silverware. It is a true home away from home. We snorkeled, We eat and we WILL be back. Thanks John. :)

SO MUCH TO DO, AND YOU CAN JUST KICK BACK AND RELAX. THE BAR AND GRILLE WAS GREAT NEXT DOOR ALSO. OR YOU CAN GET GROCERIES AND COOKOUT ON THE BEACH. BEST PLACE WE HAVE EVER STAYED.....
