The Coach House offers visitors and families clean comfortable accommodations, exceptionally well located in the heart of Washington DC. This self contained, 2 story unit is a renovated and updated horse and buggy storage house, at least some 80 years ago. Today, the unit features 2 bedrooms on the second floor, and a living room with gas fireplace, and kitchenette (Microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker) and dining area on the first floor. There is also an additional 1/2 bath and small sized laundry.

The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-sized bed. The second bedroom includes a bunk system with double sized bed below a twin-sized bunk. There is also a twin size sleeper sofa in living room. The home can accommodate up to 5 guests, a mix of adults and children to be comfortable. The home is within walking distance of the East side of the National Mall, near the US Capitol, Library of Congress, and Air and Space Museum. The Metro (Washington's Subway) is 4 blocks from the house, the Capitol South station for the Blue/Orange lines that has stops right at the Smithsonian Castle, Holocaust Museum, Natural History and American History Museums.
A THREE NIGHT MINIMUM STAY IS REQUIRED.

  • We stayed here in April 2008 with our 2 children, ages 9 & 11. It was a perfect spot for walking to The Mall (Capitol and Library of Congress just blocks away), catching the Metro to the Zoo, and enjoying Garfield Park just across the street. The neighborhood is beautiful, and having a kitchen + washer/dryer came in handy. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat.
