We enjoyed our stay at Hill House Allandale very much. So much, in fact, that we wanted to re-rent it in January/February 2012, but it was taken. We also wanted to rent it in May 2012, but again it was taken. We'll keep trying! It was a very comfortable house. Since we had our dog with us, the doggie door was most useful. One thing we would recommend: a TV in the master bedroom. We are addicted to watching the evening news/weather/sports/late night as we drift off to sleep!

Came to Austin for my brother's wedding. House was perfect for our needs (sharing house with my family & my parents) and the description of home & pictures are exactly what you get. Modern & well laid out; fenced yrd & park within walking distance is perfect for kids. Will definitely try & rent home again when we go back!

Six adult family members + 1 baby stayed in this house for a week. We were in Austin for our son's wedding. The accommodations were very nice, rooms as described on this site. We were concerned about where the baby would sleep, since this was her first trip away from home. We ended up putting the crib in the master bath. It has a pocket door so we could block her off. It worked out perfectly, and she slept well. Love the big shower in the master bath! Allandale is a great neighborhood, with good access to everything! Enjoyed the outside deck area - good family gathering spot. Made burgers & dogs on the grill. House worked great too for bridesmaids' quarters the day of the wedding. Took baby to the park across the street. Highchair came in handy too. All in all, a fantastic week in our favorite Texas city! Would rent again. . .

Great rental modern home! Enjoyed it during the winter season, can't wait for the summer! All necessities were available :) Quiet neighborhood, comfortable beds, and a nice floor plan made the stay even more pleasurable.

My husband and I stayed for two weeks in July while visiting our daughter in Austin. We were very pleased with the house and enjoyed reading on the sun porch and grilling out back. The neighborhood is excellent for walking and running,and the house is very close to a park. The logistics of the rental was also very smooth -- excellent communication throughout the experience. The location is ideal for easy access to Austin. We would definitely stay at Hill House again.

My daughter and granddaughter were visiting here from Florida, and we had a wonderful reunion in your lovely home. It was great to have so much space, and we especially loved the screened porch with the fountain--very relaxing! It was great having the park so near for my granddaughter, but she also had a wonderful time playing in the backyard. Thanks for everything you did to make our stay so comfortable; we didn't lack a thing!

The house being in a central location first caught our eye, but the fact that it was beautiful, immaculate and oh so very comfortable just made it a no-brainer! I would recommend it to any & to all.

It was very kid/runner friendly: across from a big park with playgrounds. But it was also sumptuous, perfect for a couple and very dinner-party friendly. All around great!

Thanks Cindy! We shared this house with family from SF, CA, Ann Arbor, MI and Oxford, CN gathering together to celebrate a great wedding. The neighborhood was clean, pretty, convenient, safe. The house was easy to enjoy and share. We had a great time getting together and sharing memories and laughs in the open space and kitchen.

This property was a great location. We had several of our in-laws staying here while we stayed at another property. They raved about the sun room and setting and reading in the morning. The house is well maintained and it was very comfortable for a week stay. I would very much recommend your visit to include this house.

We rented this house for a family gathering and we had family come in from California, Arizona, Colorado, and Mexico. Everyone felt right at home. The house is centrally located, in a great neighborhood and great neighbors. We truly enjoyed staying here and I wouldn't hesitate to rent from Cindy again. It was my first time renting a vacation rental and it was a great experience. Thanks Cindy.

This home was lovely. We rented the house for all of the bridesmaids in a wedding for a weekend and it was great to be able to come back at the end of the day and relax in a home. Everything that you need is provided, including enough clean towels for 4 girls for the weekend, which is not a small feat!

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at the Hill House Allandale. We rented it for a family reunion and it provided a wonderful setting for us to gather. The sunroom was great for morning coffee. Cindy, the owner, was most accommodating. We will definitely rent this house, again, in a future visit to Austin.

The house is just GREAT!! I really recommend it. It is beautiful and clean. You have everything you need for a good vacation within minutes (restaurants, parks, shopping malls, etc). My four daughters enjoyed the house as much as we did. Thank you Cindy.

We evacuated to Austin for Hurricane Gustav. It has to be the most wonderful place and wonderful people. We were made to feel right at home. We traveled with three small children and Cindy had a high chair, pack and play, toys. The children felt right at home. The glassed in patio was great for morning coffee. I would highly recommend this to anyone, just don't use it when i need to use it. I will use it again. We go to Austin for sports. You cannot make a mistake by using this vacation rental. Can't wait to see the new kitchen. They started working on it the day after we went home from Gustav.

We found our stay at the Allandale house very enjoyable. It has all the modern conveniences that you would hope to find in a vacation home. The Allandale area is one of the best locations for visiting Austin, as you are only minutes to all of the amenities that Austin has to offer.

We loved our stay in the Allandale house. We have stayed at several other vacation rentals in Austin in the past, and this was by far the best. The home is very comfortable and child friendly, and is nicely decorated. We will definitely return!

We were lucky to get in the house with a brand new wood-floor. Loved the beds. The whole house is cosy and well decorated. Fine restaurants nearby and for the kids, the pool one block away was perfect. Very nice and safe neighborhood. A pleasure meeting Cindy. We will go back one day to see the new kitchen !!!!

Hill House Allandale is a gem! Centrally located, it is close to all that Austin has to offer. Its proximity to the new toll road gets one quickly to wonderful treasures north of Austin as well. I visited for a much needed retreat & Hill House Allandale exceeded my expectations. The house is beautifully decorated, peaceful and serene, clean and well maintained. The enclosed patio is wonderful for morning coffee and evening wine. Have no fears about renting Hill House Allandale. Enjoy Austin! ~Christine

The house was perfect for our family. The owners accomodated our needs for cribs/highchair, etc. which made our travel to Texas so much easier. We loved the easy access to the park at the end of the street and even went swimming in the pool one day!

I really recommend this house. The house is beautiful and extremly clean, includes everything (linens, towels etc.) very close to everything. And dealing with the owners (Cindy and Armin) was just delightfull. This is the place to say in Austin. THANKS A LOT FOR A GREAT TIME!!

The Hill House Allandale made our after-Christmas trip to Austin a delight. Comfortable, cozy and beautifully furnished. A short walk to the nearby park provided great exercise opportunities. Conveniently located and so easy to find our way back in the evening. Loved it!
