Really Nice - Clean, Spacious, and Pretty Area

We rented this house for a get-together/race weekend for three friends from high school who now have spouses & young kids. House was amazingly convenient to the race (Tough Mudder PA was down the street), really clean and brightly lit by sun and reflections off the water, and has a great setup for young children/families with the number of bedrooms and bathrooms. We really enjoyed it there - although we'll have to return when its a touch warmer to enjoy the lake more - and hopefully we'll be back for future races. Thanks so much, Adam.

I would like to thank the owner for providing such a lovely home for our group to celebrate New Years weekend. The house had all the amenities and space to accomodate our group of 10 and we had a terrific time. The booking process was very easy and straight forward and the house was up to date with everything you could possibly want. Our only regret is not being able to stay longer.

Charming, cozy, quiet rental in Emerald Lakes Poconos

This was such a pleasant stay, I wish we had been there longer! The home was so cozy and warm. Just what our family of 8 wanted when we searched for a special mountain getaway. The home was spacious and filled with light and gorgeous views. Each room had it's own bathroom (except for one) and the game room in the basement was the perfect place for the adults to spend time when the kids went to bed. The fireplace warmed us all up! The property sits on a beautiful lake which was frozen over and it looked like it was out of a movie. We took great family pictures! Each room had an adjustable thermostat which was HUGE for us!! The house was clean and updated. You can tell the owners maintain it well. Everyone had a great time. The house is close enough to ski slopes and water park at split rock. We would definitely rent here again!!!

Awesome Winter Getaway

Our family highly recommends this rental. Since we hadn't seen any pictures of the outside of the home, we were extemely impressed when we pulled into the driveway of this beautiful mountain lakefront home. The home was immaculate with lots of special touches that aren't usually seen in a rental home such as a bottle of wine, complimentary upscale perfumes and candles. The assortment of DVDs, Videos, Magazines were also genuinely appreciated by adults as well as children. The hot tub, which was hot and ready to go, was the hit of the weekend as was the gameroom which included plenty of activities for the adults and children of any age. This was truly a home away from home and we felt very cozy and extremely welcomed! We went skiing both days at Camelback, which was a 20 minute ride on the clear day, 30 minutes on a snowy day. Be sure and is to obtain exact directions from the owner prior to your trip , as all of our GPS Systems took us to the wrong location and finding the house in the dark was extremely difficult. Once you find it, you will never want to leave! We will definately be back next season!

Our visit for a week in July, 10 was terrific. There were 6 adults and 4 children [ages 6, 4, and 18 mos.] There was plenty of room for all of us to be together without feeling cramped. The kids' playroom on the first floor [well equipped] was perfect and the adult playroom [nice pool table] in the basement was great for us too! Kitchen is nicely equipped and the beds were comfortable. The description/photographs of the property provide a good feel, but it's actually much lovelier/private than the pictures show. The deck is huge and we enjoyed many meals and sunsets there. The 2 older kids loved the rowboats with their dads ~ fishing and jumping off the boat to swim. The 2 nearby private beaches were convenient and nicely groomed. We are hoping to return there next year! The owners were very helpful and responded quickly to our questions.

This house was beautiful. We had a wonderful time with all it had to offer- everything from the kids playroom, to the pool table, to the hot tub on the deck. We are already planning our second trip. This house would be perfect for any season- there is so much to do and the location is beautiful.

This is such a wonderful vacation home. Our family ranges from age 2 - 60 and everyone was entertained. We thoroughly enjoyed the huge variety of games and utilized the pool table everyday. The deck has a gorgeous view, so refreshing after city life! My kids loved running around the huge yard, the lake and boats. Every night we grilled food and relaxed in the hot tub - it was truly a gift. We were also really grateful to the owners who responded so quickly to emails and were so very hospitable - it's a great place!!

09/04/09 My family including children & grand children enjoyed a weeks stay at this house end of August. The house is better than the pictures depict. Plenty of room nicely furnished and decorated. Excellent location, near all of the places you would want to visit. Plenty of hot tub use and fishing and boating were alot of fun. Used the outdoor pool quite often during the week. This home is an excellent choice to spend some vacation time at. Owner is very nice to deal with. Would vacation here again in a heart beat.

Your beautiful home was perfect for our family get together. House is located in a great area. The kids spent a beautiful day at Camelbeach and another at Knoebels. They also went horseback riding at the local stable while a few of us gambled at Mt. Airy. And on the one day it rained the local bowling alley kept us busy. We enjoyed fishing off the dock and rides in your rowboats. House was big enough for all of us and grilling on the deck was perfect. Couldn't ask for a better vacation house.

My family consisting of a 68 yr old, 40 somethings, 37 yr old, 11 yr old, 7 yr old and one yr old had a wonderful vacation here. The amenities were truly great - dock with rowboats, pool table, games, fantastic library, very well equipped kitchen, plenty of room to spread out including sunporch, playroom, game room, full dining room, huge deck, hot tub, grill, etc., etc. We found the home very clean and well maintained -- decorated nicely and quite inviting. It was fun seeing deer, chipmunks, fish jumping and turtles. Some of us went outlet shopping, antiquing, swimming at the community beach, dinners at Nick's and Bailey''s, Bushkill Falls, indoor water park at Split Rock. Most of us played games and pool and enjoyed the extensive library at the house. Fishing was so much fun for adults and children alike. It was a wonderful family get together in a beautiful setting. Would highly recommend this home.

Great Vacation House!

The pictures of this house didn't do it justice! We walked into a beautiful and meticulously clean living room with an instantaneous view of the lake. The entire house is well lit and modern, no shabby mountain house here! The hot tub and deck are perfect and there is plenty of room for a party of 10 to sleep. The basement is a spacious game room and there are plenty of places in the house to go for privacy. In the middle of winter it was a great get away close to the ski resorts! I can only imagine how nice it is in the summer with the lake and boats available in the backyard! I would definitely visit again!

Home is exactly like pictures, no deception here! Spacious, clean & truley lovely. Kids loved toddler room & game room & so did we! Kichen has eveything! Hot tub on deck was wonderful w/view. Close to shops & skiing ! Only suggestion if you have small children is I would recommend bringing a dvd player as there is only one & kids couldn't watch their dvd movies except on living room TV & adults didn't want to share-ha! We had so much fun here in the bitter cold of winter, it must be spectacular in spring & summer & fall!!Owners are great & answered all & any questions promptly. Would return!!!

Wow. We had an amazing time at this house! A perfect way for a few actors living in NYC to spend our days off. It was such a fun, relaxing get away and we all agreed that if we could have stayed for another week or two we would have! This is a beautiful home and we will certainly keep it in mind for future get-aways!

We stayed at this property for a long weekend. Total of 10 people (2 families of 5). We had a really great time. There were 6 kids, plenty of room in the rowboats, and tons of fish to be caught right off of the dock. The house was clean and comfortable and had all of the amenities one could ask for. Smores out on the deck topped off our last night- there is a chiminea which does a great job for roasting marshmallows! Will consider coming back in the future.

We very much enjoyed a family vacation at this beautiful home, and also had 3 generations. The house is very spacious, clean and comfortable. Most of the time we hung out on the deck and down by the lake. My 3 yr. old granddaughter loved the toddler room, and she caught her first fish. Also, the owner is very nice!

This is a lovely, spacious beautiful home where three generations of family ( grandparents, married children and grandchildren) enjoyed a birthday celebration weekend. The three adult couples each enjoyed the privacy of separate bathrooms and the little ones had a separate playroom,including toys.Barbequed dinners on the deck overlooking the lake were great! The pictures accurately portray this well maintained property and serene lakefront setting. Finally, the owner was thoughtful and helpful.
