Swim in Georgia's highest elevation lake and purest mountain water. Enjoy excellent fishing for bass, trout, catfish, and others on your own or with local guides. Go boating, skidoo, tubing, and skiing (rentals are at local marinas).
Within 30-45 minutes:
* Visit historic Clayton, Tallulah Gorge, Unicoi State Park, and Dillard House family dining.
* Hike to beautiful Panther Falls, up Black Rock Mountain, or on the Appalachian Trail.

We have stayed at this property many times and have enjoyed it very much. It has a cabin feel, great views, well equipped kitchen, and the cove is very quiet. We have 3 kids all under 11 and they were able to swim as much as we wanted without having to worry about boat traffic. The sunsets at night from the boat house are incredible. The pictures on this site don't disappoint. We look forward to spending another week there this summer. One of the best rental homes on the lake.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with young children.
