We stayed at this beautiful home for a week in mid June. I wish it was a year! The home is as pictured and more spectacular when you are standing on the deck looking at the lake and mountain views. It was only my husband and I on this stay but you could have easily fit three couples and a few kids without any space issues. We sat on the porch every night watching the ducks, eagles and pelicans. Tried our hand at fishing but didn't catch anything. The cooler nights we enjoyed playing pool in the downstairs rec room. We went to the park everyday we were there but one. The drive into West Yellowstone was a breeze, no light and one stop sign. It took approx. 30 min. We took one day trip to Virginia city which is a must do for the history buff. The one restaurant I HIGHLY recommend is Boondocks, located about 15 minutes from the house off Rte 20. Best ribeye hands down as well as other fresh homemade items. The home sits off of a main rte, but road noise was minimal to non existent as it sits to the back of the property. My only Tiny complaints are I would have liked a king size bed in the master, and the fact that the only tv box was in the living room so you could not remotely change channels in the bedroom. We were usually to pooped to stay up late for tv anyway! The jacuzzi tub was great after a long day hiking and easily fit two ;) Thank you so much Miller family for allowing us the opportunity to enjoy this home. The Millers were easy to work with and I would recommend this stay to anyone. We hope to be back.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
Owner response: We are so pleased the Chambers had a wonderful time that is always our hope. Regarding the helpful remarks relating in the the TV receivers we have just ordered additional ones for the other rooms. Thank you for taking the time for this review. The Millers

Wow!!! What an awsome place. The owners of this home are very informational about the cabin and activities around the area. I would recommend this cabin to anyone, it is in a perfect location on the lake and centrally located for all of the tourist places in the area. We enjoyed Yellowstone, Virginia City, Grand Tetons, Jackson Hole, and Island Park. So much to see and so little time. 7 days almost wasn't enough, but we managed to squeeze it all in, relax, and catch many delicious cut throat trout from the back yard (Night crawlers are the hot tip). The cabin was fully stocked with all of the necessities. We couldn't of asked for anything more. Pictures on the website do no justice to this place. Once you see this place you won't ever want to leave!!!!! Just do it, most defenatly worth your while!!!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

What an amazing home and location to relax in after exploring the sights and trails of Yellowstone and Grand Tetons. The perfect place "to come home to" after a long day. Incredible birdwatching from the front porch. Ever changing light and scenery across Henry's Lake. A winner!!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 4/4

Comment Text: We rented the house in June, 2009. The home is fabulous and the pictures on the website do not do it justice. There is plenty of room and could easily accommodate 2 families. Our best experience - MOOSE IN THE YARD. We returned one evening to find a moose in the backyard and woke up one morning to find first a cow moose with two calves and then later a bull moose and a cow moose wandering through the front yard. Our kids were amazed by this up close and personal view of wildlife. The location of the house is PERFECT to Yellowstone, Big Sky and the activities of Island Park. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 4/4

We had our annual family reunion here during the week of July 4th, 2009. What a gorgeous, well maintained lake front log home! Each bedroom with the ensuite bathroom was comfortable and wonderfully private. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed for comfort and to cook great meals and entertain. The view of Henry's Lake is to die for and we were treated to a full moon over the water each night. We had two moose in the yard on two consecutive days, a mother duck with 8 babies, many birds and, of couse, Herbie the "house" squirrel was totally entertaining. The scenery is gorgeous and to be close enough to "run over" to West Yellowstone and Yellowstone Park was amazing fun. The Miller's are wonderful landlords and the entire experience was just the best. We plan on coming back as soon as we can and would recommend this beautiful vacation home and experience to everyone! We stayed two weeks at the cabin. It was one of the best vacations our family has ever had. The home was convenient to the park and all the areas we wanted to explore. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The BakersDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 3/3

We just wanted to thank you again for the use of this wonderful cabin. We have really enjoyed having such a comfortable place to come to at the end of our long days. We of course spent a lot of time in the park - saw bear, wolf, elk, bison and the thermal features. We spent a day Whitewater rafting and a day fishing - but one of the main attractions has been this cabin. If we ever get the chance again we will definitely return. Thanks again,Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 3/3
