  We have had a wonderful vacation at the condo and are already thinking of coming again next year. Some of the highlights of the vacation have been: Watching my daughter easily converse in Spanish (we had heard her Spanish was good but had no real idea) Cooking class with Josefina - I joined a class with a Canadian woman and cute young couple from Germany--big fun for Mama! Snorkeling in front of the condo - I think the "flounders" were my favorite Diving trips (my husband) Buying Mexican clothing in the Mercado Municipal from the old lady who chatted with my daughter about how long she had been making and selling clothing. Parasailing (my husband and daughter) Eatting! Loved the fresh grouper and pesc leon and all the wonderful fruit with limon Cooking at the condo--after Josefina's cooking class I am now addicted to black beans, poblano chiles, fruit with chile powder, and aqua de Jamaica! Fresh tortillas warm from the market Dancing in the square to live Mexican music on friday and saturday evenings Flan on the square on sunday evening with the locals The tour of San Gervasio with our knowledgable guide Jose Break-dancing and fire dancing on the square evenings--my daughter made friends with one of the dancers "Rudi" Tango dancing at the Argentine restaurant An afternoon at a beach club--enjoying the service, the vendors, the silliness, and being really glad we were not on a cruise ship!! (one day at a beach club was enough) And last but not least we loved the condo. It was perfect. Clean, safe, conveniently located with drop-dead gorgeous views--sunsets every night from the balcony! Every day we enjoyed the view from the condo, including "Maya" our little yellow breasted bird friend who joined us for meals on the balcony daily. We found our ambition to go site seeing declined as the week went on because we loved hanging out at the condo, the little beach, snorkeling, enjoying the view and sunbathing. It was very hard to leave and we can't wait to come back.

  My husband and I love Cozumel and love the Cantamar Condos, last April we got married on the dock in front of the Cantamar. We rented all the condo units for our wedding guests and have seen all the units in the complex and this condo is certainly one of our favorites. We reserved this condo for my Father and Aunt and Uncle (who are all very picky travelers) and they had an absolutely wonderful stay. Liza was a pleasure to work with and the condo was exactly as advertised. The condo was very clean and well maintained. The decor is modern and makes you feel like you are in an expensive hotel. We really like the layout of all the Cantamar Condos, but this condo is one of our favorites, I love the architectural changes Liza made in this unit to make it unique. The location of the Cantamar is unbeatable! You do not need to rent a car as everything you need is within walking distance or only an inexpensive cab ride away. The views are spectacular and we love watching the cruise ships leave at sunset. We love the intimacy of the Cantamar; the pool is never busy and the private beach is great! As very experienced Cozumel vacationers we HIGHLY RECOMMEND this condo! If you are looking for a great place for a large group or family reunion where you want to rent a couple condos that are close to one another we highly recommend the Cantamar!

  The gorgeous view from this condo is mesmerizing. The condo is situated so that you can see the water from the living room, dining room, master bedroom and of course theterrace. Other pluses for us: fast internet connection since we still had to be "work connected", ocean front pool, only 8 condos in the bldg, so very quiet, secure with a locked entry gate, didn't need a car because we could walk to the square, to Guido's, other restaurants, and taxis easy to flag down.   Staying at this condo really made our trip. When we got home someone asked what the best part of the trip was. I told them for me it was that I haven't slept that good in a long time! This condo has stunning views and a great location. If you enjoy snorkeling bring your gear. This is the best snorkeling on the island. Also Liza is such a nice host and made sure we had a great stay.

  Perfect location, condo, and complex. It is only about a mile from the airport and a couple of miles to town. The view from the master bedroom and living room is unbelievable and the whole condo is quite roomy. I have been to Cozumel many times and this was my first time at this condo and I was very pleased. I was looking for something a little more laid back than a resort since I was traveling with a 4 year old and it was a perfect choice. My son made friends staying in the other condos and he had a blast with them and I did not have to worry too much about him running around out of sight since this complex is pretty quaint and it is easy to situate yourself where you can see the pool and the manmade beach just below (on a lower level), and the ocean. If you are traveling with little ones, you will actually be able to relax at this property. Also, the snorkeling is great right in your back yard and there is no need to travel for a snorkeling tour and we also even saw dolphins...which was a huge bonus!. If you choose to stay here, you will not be disappointed! FYI, there are a lot of stairs at this complex so if you are traveling with someone that doesn't get around so well, this might not be the best place for you. Other than that, it's great!

  Our family, including 13, 16 and 19 year olds stayed for eight days in August - couldn't have been happier with the beautifully decorated condo, the spectacular views, the great pool and charming beach area (we felt like it was a private beach most of the time, as the other condos were only partially occupied - when we did meet others they were very friendly), and especially renting from Liza. She couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. We rented a car, but I'm sure taxis would work easily too - the complex was kept very clean and secure, and Betty the maid was a nice treat for us. All in all - a wonderful experience - thanks much!

  My husband, son & I stayed at Liza's condo in June 2010. The location is wonderful. You can walk into town or hail a taxi for $4.00. The location is quiet and the snorkeling right off the shore is great. The condo is well stocked with everything you need, should you choose to cook. I especially loved the washer/dryer. There is a large deck off the bedroom & living room. The view from there is beautiful. If you are a diver, you can be picked up right next door by Aldora Divers. Liza quickly answered any questions and checked with us during/after our stay.
