Great place, the pictures shown in this site are nothing compared to what it actually looks like. This condo is the BEST place to stay, instead of a hotel, very clean and well maintained. Fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, towels, coolers, beach chairs etc. it made our stay feels like home. Mary and the security staff were excellent, definitely a GREAT place to get away, its your home away from home!!!

THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME EVER RENTING A CONDO ON A HOLIDAY . IT WILL BE VERY CHALLENGING FOR ME NOW TO RENT OTHERWISE....WHERE IM SURE NOT ALL CONDOS OR HOMES ARE ALIKE ....THIS CONDO WAS JUST AS ADVERTISED.....THE PICTURES DO NOT DO THIS PLACE JUSTICE.....MY FAMILY AND I WERE AMAZED AT THE SPACE WE ALL HAD ...... THE LOCATION WAS PERFECT . A GREAT BASE FOR GOING OUT ON EXCURSIONS AND SEEING PUERTO RICO. AFTER YOU ENJOYED A WONDERFUL DAY OF THE ISLAND COMING BACK TO THE CONDO MADE IT THAT MUCH MORE SWEETER. VERY CLEAN , GREAT VIEW OFF THE BALCONY, VERY RELAXING, GREAT SERCURITY, GYM , 3 POOLS , ETC . THE STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY .....THIS WAS TRUELY A BEAUTIFUL HOME AND A PERFECT STAY FOR MY FAMILY AND I .....I HIGHLY , HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE... -----GLADYS I THANK YOU AND YOUR NIECE ONCE AGAIN .....I WISH YOU ALL THE BEST AND HOPE TO BE ABLE TO DO BUSINESS NEXT YEAR ON OUR RETURN .....MANY BLESSING ... ;)

My family had a great 3 days at this very economical condo. The location is good, near the ferry and lots of restaurants. We especially loved Olelelolai a local tapas place, and ate there twice, loved the passion fruit sangria. The furnishing were clean and comfortable, all amenities included, even beach and pool toys to my son's delight. The 3 pools and fitness were well maintained and secure, the slide was awesome for kids. The only hassle was getting in the first day as security is very tight, but after that all was good. Easy drive to Luquillo and El Yunque, a rental car is a must.

This was a perfect vacation spot. The condo is clean, beautiful, spacious and centrally located for all things to do in Fajardo. I would recommend this condo to anyone who wants to get away from it all or be busy seeing the great sites in Puerto Rico. Everything is close by - beaches, nature, a world class hotel and great restaurants.
Owner response:Thank you, Jackie

This was the best!!! The pictures cannot do proper justice to the apartment. I was expecting a nice place with a good view. I got a great place with a breath taking view. I cannot recommend this condo enough, although it may take away my ability to rent it again. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I spent a week at Peña Mar with my husband, my 2-year-old son and my parents and we had an awesome time. The view from the apartment is breathtaking and the apartment itself was very beautiful and clean. All of the beds in the apartment were very comfortable. I always wake up with back pain when I sleep in a bed from a hotel room and I didn't have any pain whatsoever after sleeping in these beds. The apartment is located in a very convenient spot, close to a lot of places that are a must see, especially "El Yunque Rainforest." Gladys and her niece Mary were very nice and helpful and we didn't even have to contact them for anything since everything turned out perfect! We were very sad when our stay at the apartment ended and we hope to do this again next year.

We are a family of 4, with two boys ages 9 and 3. We stayed at Gladys' condo in July of 2009. The condo has a very home-like feel to it and is NOT like some of the "over-the-top" condos we have been in with very child-unfriendly decorations and furnishings. It was extremely clean, had easy access and privacy with the gated entry, was very well furnished, and was located in a place that made it easy for us to have the active vacation we wanted. The Pena Mar club itself is very nice and our boys loved the pools when we had a little down time back at "home-base". Gladys and her niece, Mary, were both very nice and helpful in answering any questions we had. Make sure to eat at Mary's restaurant, ole lelolai, while you are there! Our 9 year old demanded that we "go back to Mary's" for our last meal in Fajardo. Overall this was a great condo for us to stay in and gave us everything we wanted and more!

This condo was really wonderful. We woke up to the sound of birds and fresh ocean breezes every morning. During the week we felt as if the entire complex was ours since most of the owners only come on the weekends. Really liked the small gym and the middle pool the best. Although you have to drive to get to the beach, this condo is really nice.

The condominium, the complex and the view is breathtaking. My family enjoyed our stay so much that they have been asking when we could go back. The complex is beautiful with its 3 pools and fitness room. The security personnel were very friendly and accomodating. We spent a week in the condominium. Which was exactly as described and the rooms were more spacious then they appeared in the pictures. We spent 2 days at the condo enjoying the pools and the view of the ocean and the marina from our balcony. This was the perfect location to go anywhere from. We did day trips: snorkeling across the street at the Villa Marina Bay; Loquillo Beach (about 15 minutes away); then to El Conquistador hotel and casino (10 minutes away)and to El Morro and San Cristobol in San Juan (about 45 minutes away). My family would like to thank Gladys for opening up her wonderful home to us and Mary, her neice for providing us with wonderful directions to the local stores, restuarants and being available by phone when needed. Thank you again for everything, we hope to make this an annual vacation spot. Migdalia and Family

Great location, quiet condo complex, and nice condo! We decided to stay in Fajardo as it was close to everything we wanted to do: snorkeling (the Villa Marina is practically across the street), visit El Yunque Rainforest (a 20 minute drive), visit the bioluminscent bay (a 5 minute drive away), and see Luquillo Beach (a 15 minute drive). The location was great (grocery stores and fast food restaurants are within minutes away for late-night munchies) -and the complex safe and secure. We stayed there Monday through Friday and the complex was VERY quiet. Hardly anyone in the pools, so we had them all to ourselves. The condo was clean and comfortable. The beds were nice and firm; cable tv; chilly air conditioning in the bedrooms; and there was even DSL internet hookup for your laptop too! The directions and phone numbers the owner's neice, Mary, provided were VERY helpful. Thank you again Gladys and Mary for everything! CAN'T WAIT TO VISIT AGAIN!!!! Wendi in Georgia

We were so lucky to find this place! The condo is in perfect condition, clean, beautiful and close to the marinas and the beautiful beaches of Seven Seas. We were very pleased to find that it has security, two parking spaces, a washer and dryer, a fully equipped kitchen, three beautiful swimming pools, a lovely balcony with a great view of the ocean and so clean, even my mother was impressed. From the condo, it's just a step away to the marina, where you can book snorkeling and scuba trips to the nearby islands. We also went to the rainforest, El Yunque, about 20 minutes away. The bioluminescent bay is also nearby, accessible from the marina, the El Conquistador Resort is 5 minutes away, and if you like to gamble, they have a great casino and beautiful grounds. It really is a piece of heaven, we enjoyed our stay so much, we hope to rent the same condo next time we're in town. The owner, Gladys, and her niece were incredibly welcoming and helpful. They checked with us to make sure everything was OK when we arrived and were always available for questions or concerns. Thank you, Gladys, for everything...we can't wait to come back!

We were very pleased with our stay in this beautiful condominium. The accommodations were gracious and comfortable both inside and out. We enjoyed the wonderful ocean views from the shaded balcony and spent time in the sun beside the pools. There are many local activities including beaches, the rainforest and the islands of Vieques and Culebra (although we recommend allowing more than one day for those trips). I would recommend this vacation home without reservation.
