Accommodations: Vacation Home - 2 Bedrooms + Den - 2 Baths - (Sleeps 6)

House Photo taken from the Lake - Blue Lakes, California Vacation House Separated from the Red House (VRBO 119803) by 500 feet of wooded lakefront, the 2000 square foot White House sits above and over the lake, with a deck extending its full 100 foot length. Each room opens to the deck with large windows and sliding glass doors, opening the house to the lake, yet keeping the comfort of an air conditioned home. The house steps down 18 stairs from the road to the front door. From the deck there is another set of stairs to the dock. We've installed an extra ladder specifically for the four legged folk to easily get up onto the dock from the lake. The house has Central Heating and Air Conditioning. There are two and a half bedrooms: A master bedroom with a king bed, its own bathroom with tub, shower and double sinks. Second bedroom with a double bed, the third bedroom is the den with double Murphy bed. The den shares its double sided fireplace with the living room. With the Murphy bed up, the den, if desired, can become part of the living room. There is a second bathroom with a shower. The house is perfect for a total of six. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes pretty much everything one would need. There is wireless internet access (mostly), flat screen TV in the living room. There is a working double-sided fireplace. The house comes with a pedal boat that seats four plus kayak/s for two. Since the house is on a incline, there is no flat land per se. There is a steeply inclined yard for dog hangout (with a few nifty seats for humans). As to the deck: gas barbeque, lots of chairs and tables and recliners and shading. Highway 20 is right across the lake. This creates a drone of noise, yet also creates easy access to other fun stuff. Great wineries all over the county, Konocti Harbor Inn for big name music, 2 Casinos, Clear Lake, Bird Sanctuary Anderson Marsh, Cow Mountain, Mendocino National Forest. Here at the house we have fish, bald eagles, osprey, grebe, cormorants, egrets, night herons, turtles, etc. We swim, fish, hike, cook, play music or just hang out with friends! We share 30 acres of wooded land above with the Red House for hiking at home.
