This great location was just the ticket for a great week of time spent with immediate family including our dogs. Set in a peaceful environment with access to walks, hikes and yet close enough to take advantage of restaurants and recreation nearby. The property and home have plenty of space to enjoy. We loved the overall environment. The owners could not have been more accommodating; we hope to enjoy this treasure in the woods again.

My boyfriend and I spent the most wonderful, relaxing long weekend here. The house is so charming and cozy -- very easy to get into town for all the shops and restaurants, but also feels very secluded and private in the woods. We loved feeling like we were getting away from it all! We also found everything we needed in the kitchen to cook some wonderful meals with fresh local produce. In between games of scrabble and reading time on the couch, we managed to take in some wonderful views hiking the nearby trails. All in all, a perfect weekend!

I had a very relaxing weekend here with my husband, newborn son, sister and father. We had plenty of space to spread out with the 3 different seating areas in the great room. The airy layout of the home makes you feel like you're in the great outdoors even while you're staying warm inside. A great spot for a family getaway to enjoy each other's company, and unwind. Woodstock is a short drive away, as is the gorgeous Bear Cafe.

The house was very welcoming and relaxing. It was secluded but close enough to restaurants and bars and perfect for a group to get together and have fun. The picures are accurate and the place was stocked with everything needed. Terrific fireplace and sound system and plenty of games if just staying in too. Had a great time...plan on coming back.

We live in NYC and wanted a quiet and relaxing place to celebrate my wife and her twin sisters fortieth birthdays. We dropped the kids off at grandmas on the way and arrived in the early afternoon after a quiet and relaxing drive. The sisters loved the house! The heart of the home is the open great room centered around a huge fireplace. We had a fire going every moment we were in the house, sitting on the couch reading or relaxing on the huge wool rug right in front of the fire. The house is more than big enough for two couples to have privacy and could even hold another couple comfortably. We all loved the huge soaking/spa tub with the waterfall shower downstairs, great woods view too. The kitchen has everything you need to cook so you'll never have to leave the house except to go for hikes. It was the perfect spot for us to relax and enjoy the quiet of the woods.

Really enjoyed the clean, comfortable 3 BR house. The listing description is pretty accurate. The kitchen is quite modern with full set of utensils, cooking, and dining needs. The yard is pretty large with a picnic table and hammock that we enjoyed. We also liked walking down to the creek just a 10 minute walk away, and there's a great 2.5 mile hike up to an Overlook point just north of Woodstock that I would highly recommend. Dining and shopping in Woodstock were also very good. A couple minor points: The listing says Woodstock, but the house is actually in Willow, which is a good 15 minutes away. Also, on one particularly gusty night, the smoke from the chimney occasionally backed up into the house when a strong breeze blew. However, on the other calmer days, the chimney worked fine. I would definitely recommend this house.
Owner response:Thanks

We had the opportunity to recently stay at this property. We used it as our outpost to explore Woodstock and enjoy the Levon Helm concert. The house is very clean, casual and comfortable making for a very enjoyable stay. It is close enough to Woodstock and the surrounding attractions to be convenient while being far enough away from town to enjoy the amazing scenery of the Catskills. This property gets our recommendation and the owner was very easy to communicate with. Joe and family
