ASK ABOUT OUR EARLY BOOKING SPECIALS!!!Our rates include taxes!!!This wonderful get-away in the Outer Banks is conveniently located just a short walk (125 yards) from the beach. It is in the heart of Kill Devil Hills which is also the home of the Wright Brother's Monument. It is only a short drive from Jockey's Ridge and the Outlets, as well as walking distance from multiple restaurants, surf shops and quaint stores.
Barefootin' was fully renovated and newly furnished summer 2007. Each level has 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms as well as a family room and a full sized kitchen. It is equipped with a total of five televisions, two DVD players, DVD library, two game systems, and beach chairs. A basketball court and grill are also available for your convenience. An advantage of renting Barefootin' is that the units can easily accommodate two families. It is also one of the few homes that can be rented for less than a week-( 3 or 4 nights). Also, linens for the beds and towels are complimentary with the rental.(We do not provide beach towels, however.)
This is the ideal choice for two families vacationing together. It allows privacy but in close proximity to each other. The lower level has beautiful tile floors with throw rugs in each room for comfort. It is decorated with a "beachy" flare. The den has a comfortable pull out sofa and large television with DVD player. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you should need including a coffee pot and microwave. The master bedroom is very large and has a queen size bed, television and private bathroom with shower. The second bedroom has a double bed and the third has a bunk bed with television and game system. Outside there is a small patio to enjoy the ocean breezes on.
The upper level has wall to wall carpet throughout except the kitchen and bathrooms. It has a roomy den with two sofas, a large television set, DVD player and game system. The den opens into a fully equipped kitchen with a table that seats six comfortably. The master bedroom has a queen size bed, television and a private bath. The second bedroom has two twin beds and television and the the third has a pyramid bunk bed. There are balconies on the front as well as the back to enjoy.
Barefootin' is a reasonably priced convenient get away.

The atmosphere here is very unique. The house is quite charming and perfect for families. We enjoyed riding the waves, laying on the beach and relaxing on the deck and Dare Devil Pizza was delicious! We will certainly be back.

This is by far one of the nicest cottages we've ever rented. We had everything we needed....your beds were so comfortable-nice linens and so many other little amenities that added that "special touch". ...We are college friends and we have been visiting Nags Head for over 20 years. Accomodations in both top and bottom units are very nice and have both been recently remodeled. However, for me, the greatest value, beside the price, was location, location, location. It's located directly across from a public beach access with showers. Also, the cottage's central location made it really easy and convenient for venturing out to dine or shop. Oh yea, the two upper decks and the downstairs partially covered patio were ideal for relaxing outside after a long day at the beach. I give this place the preverbial two thumbs up.

Great value. This is a Duplex and we only rented the Top unit, which is 3 bedrooms. For the price, the location and property are a great deal. Everything has been redone, including all new furniture when we rented in August 2007. We peaked in the lower unit, which is also 3 bedrooms and it looked to be totally redone with new furniture, as well. Beach access is just a walk across the street and you can see the beach from the top unit. The owners were very accomodating and easy to deal with. They seamed to be very interested in us being happy and knowing that we would take care of their property during our stay. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a great family get-away at a very reasonable price!!!
