The Unique Benefits at this Condo
You'll find Menehune Shores to be a very pleasant location for your Maui vacation. While we're located centrally to Kahului, Lahaina, and Kihei, we're not in the middle of the tourist area. This makes Menehune Shores a very peaceful location. Beautiful Sugar Beach extends about five miles from Menehune Shores to Maalaea...perfect for long walks on the beach in the morning or at sunset.
Located next door to Menenhune Shores, the Marine Sanctuary operated by NOAA offers educational programs about the humpback whales that visit Maui each winter.

We own and manage our rental condominium and, as we live on Maui in Wailuku, are easily available to help with any problems or questions you may have. We take great pride in the unit's cleanliness and decor making sure the unit is well maintained at all times. Having visitors come to see us many times a year gives us the opportunity to do the "tour guide" thing. If you have questions about excursions, please ask as it's very possible we've done it.

My husband, 2.5 year old son and mother stayed at this condo in January 2012. The owners are awesome and easy to work with. The condo looked exactly as it does in the pictures; clean, nicely decorated, and very comfortable. It was well stocked with everything that we needed. The green space surrounding the condo is perfect for an energetic toddler. Access to the beach was easy for strolls along the beach and the adjacent fish pond is perfect for little ones who are scared of the surf. The location was very central on the island which made getting around the island a breeze.. I highly recommend this condo, especially to people who have children.

My husband and two boys spent Christmas 2010 in this condo and fell in love! It was great being on the first floor and the condo was exactly how it appears in the pictures. The property landscaping was immaculate! The condo is fully equipped with items I did not expect, like spices, baggies etc. Thanks Dave and Lynn :)

This was a wonderful place to stay - four adults and a 16 month old fit comfortably. The grassy area off the patio was perfect for our little guy to run around on, and there are lots of beach options right nearby. The condo itself was very well maintained, and contained everything we needed for our trip and more. The owners were more than helpful with responding to our inquiries about the property, then went above and beyond by giving us multiple recommendations about places to see and things to do while in Maui. Our only complaint about the whole trip was that it was too short!!!!

I was knew to using VRBO and had never booked a holiday this way. This property was exactly as described, perhaps better, beautiful sunset views, very quiet area on lawns outside the lanai door and a short walk to the ocean. We enjoyed our stay and took the time to research other properties and would still book here. The owner was professional and helpful and would have been available for extra information if problems had arisen. Thank you, partly due to our experience at Menehune Shores we will be back to Maui again. (p.s. make sure you look in the spare bedroom closet for amenities we didn't find until into our 4th day. Thanks again!

My husband, 2 year old son, and I stayed at this condo from September 16-26, 2009. Having never rented a condo before, I was somewhat nervous about payment and how the condo would look when we arrived. The owner Dave, however was a pleasure to deal with and I felt very secure in our transaction. The condo looked exactly as it does in the pictures; clean, nicely decorated, and very comfortable. It was well stocked with everything that we needed. We really enjoyed the location. It was so nice to be able to stroll down the beach in the evenings, and go swimming at the fish pond in the daytime. The location was very central and we were able to find our way around Kihei and the rest of Maui very easily. I highly recommend this condo, especially to people who have children as the fish pond was a safe place to take our toddler swimming when the other beaches had rough surf. Just came back from a week at the condo and just loved it!!!! I took my mother who has very limited mobility and the 2 bedroom, 2 bath worked out perfectly. I really liked being on the ground floor as well...it gave me the ability to go on to the grassy area and the beach anytime I wanted. The sunsets were amazing and the condo was well stocked and comfortable. Thanks Dave!!!
