This charming historic home faces the world famous Coronado Golf Course and has a view of the Coronado Bay Bridge and Bay. It has been extensively remodeled, but has retained its antique charm. The decor is French country and beach and warm happy colors.
Downstairs are the living room, fireplace, grand piano and a cozy sun porch with wicker furniture just waiting for you to relax with a book; a lovely dining room, with seating for 8 with French doors that open up to the front patio; a fully stocked gourmet kitchen with a Wedgewood stove, SubZero Refrigerator and a ten foot long butcher block island that seats five; a powder room and the family room with Cable TV and Stereo system. Behind the family room is an enclosed brick patio/garden with a gas BBQ and picnic table. Herbs and vegetables can be found growing throughout the garden areas around the house along with the roses and other flowers.
Upstairs are four bedrooms and a sunny sun porch. The master bedroom has a king sized bed and an attached bathroom; bedroom 2 has a queen bed, bedroom 3 has a trundle bed, and the fourth, also used as an office, has a twin bed. The office has a computer, printer and WIFI access along with a Herman Miller chair. The upstairs sun porch has a built in bed that can sleep an additional two or three people. The second bath, has a claw foot tub, perfect for soaking. Books can be found everywhere throughout this home.
