The Ala Moana is newly renovated and is now one of the finest Hotels/Condominiums on the island of Oahu and the Waikiki area. All the furniture, appliances and decor has been upgraded. There is a new LCD flat screen TV. But the best feature is the location with a great OCEAN VIEW and within walking distance to the beach, convention center and the Famous Ala Moana Mall/Shopping Center. Nordstrom's, Neiman Marcus and other great stores are right next door.
The hotel/condo has resort amenities including 6 restaurants of all types including Chinese, Japanese, French, American and others including a five star penthouse restaurant called Arrands with an amazing view of everything.
There is a very popular dance club called Rumors and it is one of the hottest night spots in Hawaii.
