Beautiful, private Cape Cod home located in the exclusive Moors Beach Association. Sits on the edge of conservation land and salt pond 500 feet from beach.
Easy, short walk to beach. Association rules allow renters staying two weeks or more to have access to segment of private beach with beach house, life guard, private parking, and to tennis courts.
Our home is well maintained and offers expansive ocean views of the Vineyard Sound. Deck has outdoor patio dining furniture. Side door of master bedroom leads directly onto deck.
All beds have summer-weight down comforters with luxurious linens. First floor and second floor bedrooms have beautiful views of Vineyard Sound.
Home has spacious layout, with high ceilings and open floor plan. Living room has elegant French doors leading to deck.
Recently remodeled ground floor includes a full bathroom, bedroom and spacious entertainment room with a study area.
Historic Falmouth Village, which offers excellent shopping, restaurants and bookstores, is located one mile from our home.

Fabulous Holiday Getaway!

This property was just perfect for our two week stay on the Cape. The location was excellent, away from traffic, close to the beach and, as an added enticement for our kids and grandkids, two private tennis courts as part of the Moor Association. Should you want to "go to town" it is quite close to both Falmouth Center and Woods Hole (reached not necessarily on the main roads but rather on the scenic and beautiful beach road or bike path) for restaurants, strolling and shopping. The home itself is the best! With the four bedrooms and great living space we were able to enjoy several of our kids and grandkids at the same time. Everyone had their privacy and own space-which was great. From the deck we were able to watch the fireworks on the Falmouth Height beach on the 4th of July. The view is just spectacular with or without fireworks! When we arrived the home was immaculate and well supplied with the essentials. The caretakers were available to answer any questions that we had. Prior to our arrival we had corresponded with the owners and they were very friendly, forthcoming and helpful. We enjoyed the holiday to such an extent that upon our departure we contacted the owners requesting a 4 week stay next summer! That says it all.

We spent a glorious week in Falmouth at this wonderful home. The location is great, right near the beach (a 3 minute easy walk) - as well as providing views of the ocean and Martha's vineyard. There is a nice bike path right near the house that goes into downtown Falmouth or to Woods Hole and is a quick way to get out without getting in your car. Falmouth and Woods Hole have some great restaurants and great shops (documented in the guest book at the house from the owners who have vacation there for 30 years) as well as having the ferry close by to go to Woods Hole or Nantucket. We also made trips to visit the aquarium and the Woods Hole Institute for an exhibition of how they discovered the Titanic. The weather was great while we were there in August so we spent a lot of time swimming and biking, touring Martha's vineyard and walking and Birding in the salt marsh preserve which borders the house property. If you'd rather stay indoor, the house has a very nice open living room with a big fireplace for relaxing with your family / friends. The bedrooms are spacious with plenty of bathrooms and the downstairs bedroom and family room is nice for the kids to hang out away from the adults. The property managers live close by and are more than willing to come by if anything amiss. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and are planning a trip back to do all the things we didn't have time for!

We had a marvelous stay at this lovely home and would return again in a heatbeat.Clearly the owners and property management team is on the ball. Its scenic location with unobstructed views of the salt pond, bird sancturary and the ocean put it on our shortlist. Our group of 5 Californians found the following to be truely value-added features: the house's proximity to the Shining Sea Bike path, a private beach & tennis courts, proximity to the Bird Sanctuary, downtown Falmouth as well as Woods Hole. Best takeaways: the view from the spacious deck, morning walks to the beach with coffee in hand, cruising Martha's Vineyard on mopeds, dinner at the Glass Onion and shopping at Maxwell's. We plan to return again to enjoy the quintessential Cape Cod vibe Falmouth embodies so well.

one week stay july 2010 GREAT place - accurate description clean, bright, air conditioned - location ideal, walk to beach, bike path cooked in most of the time - kitchen perfect, grill on deck sitting on deck watching vineyard sound and sunset sublime owners easy to work with, local property caretakers very helpful would like to stay again

This is a wonderful, spacious home, filled with light, perfectly situated near Falmouth Village, the best part of the Falmouth bike path (parallel to the ocean), and the beach. We spent a rainy week in Falmouth with two teenagers and this house afforded all the amenities to keep everyone happy.
