You’ll love the comfortable furnishings during your wonderful vacation stay at our beautiful WaterColor home! This custom-built home is designed to accommodate extended families and large groups of friends for unforgettable vacations. With a total of 5 Bedrooms (2 of which are Master Bedrooms), and 3-1/2 Baths... our home boasts a total of over 4700 sq. ft. under roof.
NOW easier access to the White Sugar Sand Beaches of the Emerald Coast with the opening of the new Panama City Beach International Airport in Bay County. Now only a 30 minute drive to the airport.
THREE OF OUR FAVORITE FEATURES ARE:
1. The spectacular Game/Bunk Room. This is a large space dedicated just for the kids. They’ll love their private retreat outfitted with a 37" flat panel TV, DVD player, games, fun furniture and computer work station area.
2. The awesome Summer Kitchen with Wet Bar. This is the best porch ever... including wet-sink and outdoor refrigerator, built-in natural gas Viking grill, plus gas/wood-burning fireplace. These amenities combined with the solid-wood tongue & groove ceiling makes this large outdoor porch feel almost like another "room" in the house... and it provides plenty of space for enjoying family cook-outs while you’re on vacation.
3. The Location that we love! (see "LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION" below).
BEDROOMS:
All 4 main bedrooms have KING BEDS and 32" FLAT PANEL TV'S with DVD players. The 5th bedroom (a.k.a. the game/bunk room) has 3 built-in bunks with extra-long twin beds plus a 37" Flat Panel TV with DVD player. Both of the master bedrooms (one on each floor of the home) have French doors opening to huge/beautiful covered porches. Cribs are available through our concierge service.
KITCHEN/DINING
The gourmet kitchen features Sub-Zero and Thermador appliances… including a 6 burner professional series gas range. Additionally, there’s a wet bar with a built-in wine cooler adjacent to the kitchen. The dining room seats 8-10, plus 2 more at the bar/countertop. There’s additional seating on the summer kitchen porch. And we’ve furnished the house with a high chair to accommodate young families too.
EXTRAS:
- Large 50" flat panel TV above the fireplace in the living room.
- High Speed Wi-Fi Internet throughout.
- Complimentary Adult Bikes are provided.(no helmets provided)
- Outdoor shower for rinsing the sand off after a long relaxing day at the beach.
- A wheelchair ramp, flush thresholds, and large 1st floor master bedroom & bath make this home very friendly to those with mobility impairment.
- All of the bathrooms and kitchen areas feature extensive custom travertine tile work including beautiful hand-made glass accent tiles. We used an enormous amount of natural stone and tile throughout the home.
LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION
We absolutely love our Phase 3 (Lake District) location and think that you will too! Our house is close to everything. It’s only 100 yards from Sand Hill Park and everyone’s favorite “Frog Pool”… and not too much further from the Camp WaterColor pool (using a shortcut foot-path & bridge through the woods).
We’re closer to Town Center and the Beach Club than every home in Phase 2… and nearly as close as some Phase 1 homes. Plus, from our house, you don’t have to ride your bike down busy Western Lake Parkway to get to where you’re going.
The best part is the scenery along the way as you cross the spectacular pedestrian foot-bridge which traverses beautiful Western Lake… past the Boat House… and then through gorgeous Cerulean Park. While you may not get time in your hectic day-to-day life… you can literally “stop and smell the flowers along the way” as you go about your daily activities while vacationing at our home in WaterColor.
In addition to all of the fun activities, the scenery is simply stunning. And our location allows you to enjoy this scenery better than most of the rentals offered in Phase 1 & Phase 2.
Please email us today with any questions and to make reservations. We try to respond to your inquiries promptly. If we’re unable to take your call immediately, we can often respond to any emails and voice mails within 30 minutes.
If you need more space the carriage house rents out separately. You can view at vrbo #167426

Beautiful home! We had 2 families with a total of 6 children. The house was very roomy and perfectly laid out for all of us. The furnishing were wonderful and everyone had plenty of room to spread out. The place was very clean when we arrived. The applainces are top of the line, very nice for a vacation place. Kitchen well stocked with plenty of cookware, etc.( This isn't always found in other rentals). The front porch was the perfect place to sit and have coffee in the morning and the back porch was great for a glass of wine in the evening and cooking out. Bedrooms are very spaious. The kids loved the bunk/playroom. Plenty of bikes for everyone, short trip to the the beach and great location to the pools. Our family had the perfect vacation in your home, couldn't ask for anything more. We will definitely be back

Our family throughly enjoyed this beautifully decorated, warm, clean and inviting home. We used the outdoor kitchen almost every night and enjoyed hearing the waves crash at the same time. The bunkroom was a dream for our kids. It's so spacious and cheerfully decorated. The kids had a blast playing games in this area and slept like babies through the night. Sometimes my children aren't comfortable in a new space, but not in this home. They said, it felt like there own rooms. All of the bedrooms are quite large and the bathrooms are beautiful and spacious. There is a porch off one of the upstairs bedrooms with an inviting hammock. I found myself slipping off there for some R & R every evening. The main living room is so warm and comfortable and large enough to accomodate our group 8. The front porch has such southern charm. We also enjoyed the use of the bicycles that were there for our use. That saved us a ton of money. You can't go wrong with this rental. The homeowner was quite helpful in answering my questions and offering suggstions for restaurants and activities. We will rent the house again for our summer 2012 stay. Thanks again for a wonderful family vacation that made us feel right at home.

Home was in superb condition! (OCD when it comes to a clean house- it passed the "white glove" test with flying colors). The decor and layout is ideal! We were thrilled with the entire experience. The kitchen was stocked with everything a chef or a wanna chef could think of- Thank you! I love this location because traffic is minimal and its close to everything- camp watercolor, the frog pool and a close bike ride to the beach. We had a great visit and will be coming again. We have enjoyed WC for years and we would highly recommend this home. Owners were easy to work with! A+

Our family stayed in this home back during June, and could not have asked for a more perfect vacation home!! It was designer-beautiful, had every amenity imaginable and THEN some....quiet location, but still close to all the action!! I am an interior decorator, and when I travel, I want to stay in something equally as nice or nicer than my own home, and this one definitely fit surpassed my standards!! We loved having access to the home's bikes....our kids played all over Watercolor and Seaside, and we never ONCE worried about them. (And we are very over protective parents!). There are parks close by, as well as pools, and the town center of Seaside is a very short bike ride from this home. (And the beach can be reached in under 5 minutes!) The property is top notch/5 star, immacultely maintained, and the owners were SOOOOO friendly and helpful! I can't think of one thing that this place was missing! We plan on renting this wonderful home everytime we return to the Watercolor/Seaside area!! It's a MUST RENT!!! (We highly recommend Bud and Ally's and the Taco Bar in Seasideand the Red Bar in Greyton Beach for restaurants!)

Thank you for allowing us to visit your lovely home. We were two snow birds looking for an excape and a family from Europe who had never been to this area. Needless to say we are in love! The whole 30A area is so family oriented and you can't find a prettier beach. We loved your home and the watercolor amenities you provided. We are used to a small home so my husband found it quite irritating when I called his cell phone in the middle of the night looking for him (he was in the bunk room with our son)! We will be back and will tell our friends about this great place.
Owner response:Thank you for your positive post. We look forward to hosting you again!

We recently came home from a much needed vacation in Watercolor. We had such a wonderful time. Our children loved the upstairs game/bunk room. It was their on getaway! They loved the icecream man coming by. By the end of the week he new our children by name! Every room is large. It was easy to find time alone if you needed it. It is perfect for a two family vacation. My husband enjoyed the outdoor kitchen. I think he cooked out every night!! We were impressed with the top quality appliances in the kitchen. We were not real sure we wanted to rent in Phase 3 because we have always stayed in the camp district (thought it was going to be far away). To our suprise it is actually closer to the beach if you take the bike path over the lake. Very nice place. We couldn't have asked for anything better! Thank you for sharing with us!
Owner response:Thank you Win. We appreciate the positive review. Look forward to hearing from you next time!

Big Disappointment

Our family has been renting vacation homes in this area for a number of years and we have always had a great experience up until this year. We decided to try renting directly from owner (VRBO) and what a disappointment, living room furniture was chewed up and the furniture and bathroom mats were stained and filthy - we were told the owners had been there one month prior to us and they left dogs running free while they were at dinner one night and that is how the damage occured. The conceirge service appolgized and removed all the stained throw pillows, chairs pads and footstools, threw a dirty white blanket over the chewed arm of the sofa and said they called the owner and things would be corrected the next day. Next day they measured for slip covers, said the owner would go to pier one and select new chair pads - did not happen. I spent the first day of my vacation cleaning and washing bath mats and throw rugs, we were not able to use the living room due to it's condition. Save yourself the aggrevation, we will never, ever use VRBO or go to this property again. The owner never responded to our email and never offered any compensation for all we went thru.
Owner response:We brought a puppy to our home this summer. While we were in the house she chewed the armrest of the sofa. Dog is never left free to run around house. We use a kennel when we leave the house always. Fabric is on back order to repair the sofa. Both sofas, all throw pillows and bath mats and comforters are brand new (replaced this spring). The house is cleaned after each renter and once during each renter. After 100 % occupancy from May to September you do expect some damage/staining since it is difficult to have steam cleaners come in while renters are there. The concierge service contacted me stating the renter wanted all the downstairs furniture and pillows replaced. I felt that was a bit excessive. I did give the concierge service the Ok to replace two chair cushions that I knew needed to be replaced and do what they could within reason to please this renter. Not sure what the renter is talking about as far as me going to Pier One because I live in another state. I know for a fact the concierge service would never place a dirty white blankets over the sofa. I do apologize if the concierge service stated it would do something and didn’t follow through. This has been addressed. I do find it hard that this renter was unable to use the living room due to the condition. I have not had complaints from any other renter. I did ask the renter following this angry renter the condition of the house to see if the concierge service wasn’t doing a good job keeping the home clean. They didn’t have any problem. We were appalled that this angry had our new throw pillows to be thrown in the garage. The sofas had very mild wear and tear from summer rental and most of the pillows were spotless. We (myself, the owner, my booking agent) Never received any correspondence from this angry. No email or phone call. I feel one bad review over the course of 6-9 months of happy renters speaks for itself. We strive to provide the most “home like” environment for our guests with the best quality we can. We value our renter’s options and urge them to let us know of any improvements that can be done.

What a great stay we had in Watercolor! Having been a Rosemary Beach fan and RB renter for 5+ years, we really enjoyed the Watercolor experience and this fantasic new home. Very well laid out, extremely comfortable for adults as well as our kids (1,5,12,13). Outdoor grill/kitchen was great, we met each evening on the back deck to grill and tell stories of the events of the day. Great for families. The bike trails, common areas, pools and beach club passes were perfect. During Spring Break... Watercolor was out of bikes but we had plenty of our own! Wonderful rental experience from Suzanne and we're looking ahead for dates to come back this summer. You can't go wrong with this lovely home. Bob
