To make our 7BR home the best vacation home on North Forest Beach, we began a studs-up renovation project in November of 2007 which was completed on April 15 of 2008. We studied a survey of amenities and features most enjoyed by visitors while on vacation. We then “turned them up a notch” and implemented each in this dream house.
There is no better location on the island for a vacation home. The top three landmarks on Hilton Head are the beach, Coligny Plaza and the Tiki-Hut. You will be a sand-wedge to a 3-wood from each. Coligny Plaza is 150 feet from your driveway, which means the bakery and coffee shop in the morning, a dozen restaurants for dining and a well stocked grocery store. The clothing/gift shopping is also unparalleled. The beach is 300 feet from the driveway and only 2 homes separate you from the dunes. The Tikki-Hut is a short two minute walk.
While the location alone is fantastic, the interior of the home is truly inspiring. Our great room on the second level is just that with 1,000 sq. feet of lounging, dining and cooking. This room is complete with new bamboo flooring throughout, sky lights and a communal dining table that seats twelve. Our state of the art kitchen consists of all new maple cabinetry, brand new stainless appliance package (5 eye cook top, wall oven, designer hood) and work island with bar seating and pendant lighting. This area then flows into the 12 seat dining area and on to the living area which boasts all new furniture and an entertainment center with a CD/stereo and a 50 inch DLP.
There are four bedrooms complete with bamboo flooring on the second level. First, a large master with a king canopy bed with mosquito netting (for effect; no bugs) 42 inch flat screen, dual head shower, granite counters and French doors that lead to the deck. Second, a junior master with a king bed, granite counters and a private balcony. Room 3 is equipped with a white queen bedroom suite and is perfect for a child/teen/adult female. Room 4 is equipped with a queen bed. Bedroom 3&4 share a Jack&Jill bath.
The lower level is perfect for any elderly and/or special needs family members or friends who want to avoid stairs. The lower level has new tile throughout and consists of three bedrooms, two baths and an equipped laundry room. Bedroom 5 is equipped with a queen, private bathroom and its sliding glass doors lead to a private courtyard that harbors the 4 person hot-tub. Bedroom 6 has 2 sets of bunk beds (both with trundle) and sleeps six. Bedroom 7 is equipped with a king bed, a wet bar and its exterior door leads to the pool area. Bedrooms 6&7 share a J&J bath.
The house also has a 4 car garage and a driveway that will hold at least 4 cars. Bring your cars and park them, you won’t need them. There is also a play room behind the garage that has a ping-pong table.
We have saved the best for last. To put this house over the top we implemented a landscape package like no other. For starters, the pool is a 24x10 ft. with a SWIM UP BAR! That’s right, concrete stools in the pool and a thatched bar. You will also have a four hole putting green for the kids of all ages. Still bored, than put teams together and play in your horseshoe pit or your shuffleboard court. If it is hot water you like, please don’t forget the 4 person hot-tub with an eight foot high privacy wall. The upper level deck can accommodate 20 and will be equipped with a gas BBQ grill.
With all the activities available to you your biggest problem will be deciding what to do next....but that's the kind of problem every vacationer wants to have!

Our Friends and Family found this beautiful home in 2008. After having stayed at multiple homes over many summer vacations we have decided this was the best home we have rented. Our cars were idle the whole week since everything that you could possibly need is within walking distance. The house itself is almost like a resort with the pool, hot tub, ping pong table, horse shoes and even more. The rooms are nicely done with flat screens and a great big living room where everyone basically conglomerates overlooking the pool and the patio with grilling and amenities. Even my in-laws who can be a bit skeptical at times were amazed. For the price it is one of the best deals in Hilton for all you get with the house. The beach being only a 2 minute walk is like having an oceanfront home without actually paying the price for it. We have already booked for 2009 and plan on staying here every year.

My family spent a reunion week at the house in the 3rd week of June in 2008. The house was awesome and had every modern convenience. The boys had flat screens for their baseball and the kids had their own floor! The ping pong room was a big hit with the teenagers and my mom appreciated not having to climb stairs to get to her room. We never used our cars as everything was in walking distance. You can see Coligny Plaza from the driveway so we had everything at our fingertips. The rental company was very effeciant and was at our disposal to take care of a light bulb that burned out. We spent the majority of time in the pool and BBQing on the porch. The kids enjoyed being two homes from the beach. We will be back!
