Despite unfavorable weather, including an hours long lightening storm and 5 inches of rain the evening of our arrival, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at A Nouste. The host was very attentive during the booking process and even called after our arrival to make sure we were aware of the approaching storm. The kitchen is well stocked and linens are plentiful. Comfy outdoor chairs to sun, sit and read, or just meditate on the beautiful bay and active sea birds. It was great having both covered and open outdoor space. We were happy the clouds broke on our last day so we could experience the breathtaking sunset from the wharf. Could not ask for better hosts. The drive along the bay toward Fairhope is lovely and the town close enough for shopping, dining, or just picking up a few supplies.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

"A Nouste" is a wonderful Mobile Bay waterfront retreat. If you love to wake up to the sound of the waves and the excited voices of the seagulls, you will love this house. From the moment we drove in the drive and saw the happy colors of the house and well maintained grounds we were in love. Once inside, we were thrilled at how well our hosts had planned for our every need. We have rented dozens of beach houses and we must report that this house far exceeds what most beach houses have to offer. It is very clean and well stocked with essentials. The furnishings are comfortable and the home has a rustic charm. Our first evening was spent watching a gorgeous sunset and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. I am sure that after this week, we will return again and again.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway.

A bit rustic, but cozy and comfortable. Everything was in good working order and very clean. A bit disappointed with the 2nd bathroom because we shared the house with another couple and in order to use the 2nd bath, we had to enter through the outside deck. I think a bit overpriced, but we were able to make it work at the last minute and it was pet friendly, which we needed. Fantastic sunsets, but not a lot of action in the area.Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners.
Owner response: Hmmm... Good thing that 98% of our reviews we have are five stars. Regarding the bath: The deck-side bath is seen as a benefit by most, as it provides added privacy and charm, and, since most people rarely leave the deck, is very convenient since one does not have to walk back into the house in order to use the facilities when they are grilling or cooking up a pot of crabs out in the bay breeze. You also won't want to miss counting the pelicans flying over or the dolphins swimming by! Regarding pricing: We are on the low end of the pricing in the area, and are the ABSOLUTE BEST house around for the size (just check out all of our other reviews to confirm this) in every way. Just try to find a better place! Indeed we DID make it work at the last minute, and it is INDEED very pet friendly, but "not a lot of action" may be translated into "private and peaceful". That is what one should expect from a bay-front property with an acre of land that is only 20 feet from the water: private and peaceful! Fabulous!

This is a perfectly maintained home right on the Bay. This area of Fairhope/Point Clear is peaceful, perfectly manicured and very relaxing. The wrap around deck with rockers, grill and tables is perfect. This was my second stay and we have crabbed, grilled, boiled shrimp and gone to the Grand Hotel (minutes away) for brunch. The home is spacious with a large open kitchen, dining and living area. Sabin is a perfect host and the home is extremely clean and well appointed. The kitchen has every imaginable item you would need. This is a perfect vacation spot for watching beautiful sunsets. Additionally, it is always exciting to see the vast array of dolphins, fish, crabs and pelicans that call this area home as well. I highly recommend this home!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

If you like crowds, noise, sand everywhere & long lines at the resturants; A Nouste is not the place for you. BUT .. if your desire is a quiet, peaceful, fully equipment, place to enjoy absolutely gorgeous sunsets, cool bay breezes blowing through your open windows, bay waves rushing against the shore, fishing/crabbing just outside your door and a wonderful deck to ease away your stress ... A NOUSTE IS A MUST!! The owners are a joy to rent from and have taken every step to share their home for your "home away from home".Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway.

I just wanted to write to tell you how much we enjoyed staying at your place in Fairhope recently. The cabin is so nice and the view is beautiful. It was so serene and peaceful, as well as a good base to start from when visiting our friends in the area and going to the places that we wanted to see. My 82 year old mother said it was one of the best vacation places that she has been to and she has traveled a lot over the years. My sister and I will have some very good memories of sharing this time with her at your cabin on the bay.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks at "A Nouste." The cottage was perfect: comfortable and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. I spent every morning in a rocker on the deck watching the day break; and every evening watching the sun set. The kids were busy all day at sail camp in Fairhope, but they really enjoyed fishing and crabbing off of the dock in the evenings. We have lived in the city of Mobile for three years, but had never had the opportunity to enjoy life "over the bay" as they say around here. Thanks for a wonderful stay.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway.

We loved A Nouste-everything was ready when we got there and you had thought of and supplied everything we could possibly need, even down to a hairdryer (my English one wouldn't have worked!) I think the shower in the deck bathroom was possibly my favourite item with the open deck on the bare lot side at 6 in the morning coming a close second. And always the sound of the water. We didn't need the AC much and could keep the windows open and enjoy the breezes. We had a colony of terns using the old pier posts for their daytime roost and pelicans cruising overhead every afternoon from Mullet Point to Weeks Bay and back, on the upcurrents off the Bay. On our last morning we even saw four dolphins exploring the fishing possibilities right up to your dock. There is a pair of bluebirds nesting in the martin house on the White's bulkhead. You can tell we appreciated the copy of Audubons Field Guide on your bookshelves! We did the First Ladies jigsaw and therefore learnt a lot(!) and played Scrabble on four evenings. Such a joy to slow right up. Many thanks for letting us share your house at very reasonable rates. We shall remember with joy our Alabama holiday.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway.

My husband and I just returned from our stay at "A Nouste". What a great time we had! This is a comfortable cottage with beautiful views of the bay and spectacular sunrises and sunsets. Everything we needed at the cottage was at our fingertips and labeled so we could find it all easily. The owner is very helpful and supplied so many details about the cottage, we felt at home as soon as we arrived. Fairhope is a beautiful town with good restaurants and unique shops. We look forward to the next time we can get away for another stay at this enchanted cottage.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway.

What a great place for a Family Reunion/Christmas celebration. The pictures on the website are good, but the real place is a treasure to behold. Oh, the sunsets..............Our kids caught enough crabs to provide a wonderful meal. The place is cozy, but big enough for a group. Next, we'd like to go for a honeymoon for two...........of course, we know that won't happen because the grandkids can't wait to get back there. There are all the modern conveniences available........my favorite part is that it is truly a funky beach house! While the area is full of $$$$ mansions and homes, A Nouste is the real gem of the coast in that area. So, so very comfortable. Far enough out of town to feel away from it all, but just minutes away from groceries and restaurants. I am dreaming of returning to my own special rocker on the deck and watching the sunset.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Sit in a rocking chair on the deck and listen to the waves hit the rocks while watching the sunset... Listen to the birds and nothing else. Ahhhhhh Open the windows and sleep like a baby in the fresh crisp autumn air. The house is cute as a button and they have thought of everything. Don't forget to take binoculars - so you can watch the boats out in the bay. We had a great time and highly recommend this rental.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, romantic getaway.

This is the perfect getaway for a couple like us who just needs to get away from stressful jobs and life for a while. We stayed for one week and it was really not enough, we really hated to leave. We turned off the air conditioning and opened the windows and the breeze that came through was heavenly. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you could ever need and we enjoyed cooking several meals. We ate all our meals outside on the wraparound porch. The view was wonderful and the sunsets were breathtaking. We spent many hours watching the pelicans and other birds swooping for fish and our cairn terrier enjoyed it as much as we did. The internet connection was top of the line. I carried my sewing machine and spent some time enjoying the serenity and gulf breeze while I sewed. My husband brought his guitar and spent many hours playing music. We did not venture out much but did enjoy shopping in Fairhope and Foley a couple of times. We found a church there and attended on Sunday and the people of the area made us feel right at home. Sabin, the owner, was so helpful and knowledgeable about the area and willing to help in any way to make the stay the best. We will definitely like to stay at “ A Nouste” again.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My husand and I just returned home from a week at "A Nooste". The cottage was charming and homey with a kitchen equipped for a simple or gourmet meal. Since I did not plan to cook much, the information about restaurants and things to do provided by Sabin was everything we needed to know. Jesse's at Magnolia Springs and The Wash House just up the road from the cottage were both excellent! We enjoyed sitting on the deck with our morning coffee -- watching the pelicans and gulls fishing while listening to the music of the waves. We ususally ended our day on the deck watching the stars and enjoying the breeze off the water. It was a terrific week and we will go back to "A Nooste".Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We've just returned from staying at this fabulous, quaint, bay front home, the perfect place to "peel away" some stress. All you'll need for your stay is groceries. Be sure to get them on the way or on the first day because you won't want to leave! There's no way for photos to capture the cozy feel of the house with the great brick floor in the kitchen/eating area, all the beautiful wood walls, and wonderful porch/deck. My husband was able to launch his kayak from the pier and he LOVED the outside shower. I was more than happy to sit on the porch looking out at the incredible view and enjoying the constant breeze. From this perch I was able (without much enthusiasm) to remote into my computer at work thanks to the wireless internet. If you desire to add some "action" to your respite, you can get to it in less than an hour to Mobile or Gulf Shores. The drive in any direction will be enjoyable as this is a beautiful area. The owners are fantastic! They are just an email, phone call, or text away to assist with any questions or needs. Not only would we recommend this getaway and consider booking again, we've ALREADY booked for next year and have told family and friends about it. If you're in need of some peace and quiet in a delightful setting, you can't go wrong staying here!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway.

We had a wonderful time at the "A Nouste" home on the Bay! My son (age 5) did not want to leave. The home had everything and more described on this site. The owners were very easy to work with and it really seemed to matter to them that we had an awesome stay. There was not one thing at the rental that we needed and wasn't there. Everything was well organized and labeled :) The views on the bay were so beautiful! We spent most of our time outside fishing and crabbing. We caught so many crabs that we had to throw some back! We also caught catfish and croaker fish. So much fun! Especially a great place for little kids. There are several baby gates on the outside areas. We were able to fish and not worry that they had wondered off. I would rent this home again!!! Thanks Sabin for a great stay!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I LOVE this place! From inside the house it looks as if you are IN the water! Turn off the t.v. and the a/c, open the windows, listen to the waves and the birds and RELAX! You will not want to leave! If you need a break, this is the place for you. Fabulous restaurants in the area. Bring your bicycles. I could go on and on... Can't wait to get back! (p.s. For those of you who can't imagine life without t.v. or computers, there are t.v.'s in every room, with cable, and high-speed internet is included. My sister and I spent a month at A Nouste and it was perfect for us. The location--far back from a quiet road, close to the water, and extra lot gave us the feeling of privacy yet pleasant neighbors kept us from feeling alone. The house is exactly as advertised and the owners are helpful and easy to contact. The house has the feeling of a real "home" with many extras--games and puzzles, a baby gate on the deck (great to keep a Chihuahua from dashing down the steps), all those items you forgot at the store (like flashlights and candles and scissors). Fairhope and the Gulf made interesting day trips but my favorite activity was early morning coffee on the deck watching the pelicans and seagulls arrive. We would definitely stay here again.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We thoroughly enjoyed "A Nouste". It is completely equipped with anything most visitors could possibly want, cleaner than I keep my own house, and convenient to most everything. The ever present breeze makes sitting in the rocking chairs on the spacious deck a most relaxing environment. The view across the bay is beautiful, as one sits there watching the boats go by, and the ever present pelicans patrolling the shoreline. The peace, and tranquility are outstanding! The way the house is situated affords visitors an almost private experience, although there are neighbors on both sides. If you are into sunbathing "au naturel", the uncovered space on the deck is the place to do it, as well as star gazing in the same manner. The little village of Fairhope is quaint, and a great place to just stroll around visiting the antique shops. It is beautifully accented with flowers on most every corner, and the citizens are very friendly, and helpful. The restaurants in the area are excellent. We tried several which were recommended by the owners of the house, and were never disappointed. You must drive a little, if you want "fast food", but not all that far. Children, and teenagers might get a little bored, but what a wonderful getaway for us "middleagers", and "old folks". Our two little dogs loved romping in the spacious lawn (on leashes of course), or playing near the sea wall, barking at the waves splashing on the rocks, and going out on the private pier to look down into the water. I/we have absolutely no qualms about recommending "A Nouste" to anyone who might be tired of the cacophany, traffic, or hub-bub of most resort areas; this is the place for you. If you try it once, I feel sure that you will be a returning visitor; I know we will be.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway.

Had a fantastic 4-day Easter weekend. My bride and I along with our two Weimaraners thoroughly enjoyed the downtime here on the bay. The home was just the right size for us and the dogs, and the large wraparound porch gave the pooches a place to run around. We were so close to the water that it was always breezy and cool and we really didn't miss not having a beach. Fairhope is a stunning small town - lots of shops, pet friendly restaurants like Pannini Pete's in the French Quarter, and easily walkable. A great way to wind down from working too much, get caught up on our reading and see a small Southern town at its best. We'll be back.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway.

Our experience at the vacation home began well before we arrived. Having never taken our young dogs on a vacation, I was fairly nervous about the drive down and accommodations. However, my conversation with the owner put me at ease. He has a natural story teller’s gift for conversation and description. He spent time listening to our needs and making me feel comfortable that this house would work for us. He also sent emails with information about the local area, restaurants, things to do, and even recipes. Not only were we renting a pleasant house on the beach, we were getting our own personalized tour. The most amazing thing of all was something the owner did that was above anything anyone would have expected. Because I was going to spend a bit of time with my friend who lived in the area, my husband decided to stick around the house and practice making pastries for an upcoming class he was taking. At his request I emailed the owner to find out if they had a food processor, a stand mixer, and a digital kitchen scale so that we knew whether or not we should bring ours down. Imagine our surprise when the owner called to tell us that he had rush ordered everything we had asked about so that it would be there when we arrived. The house, yard and dock itself were great. The neighbors were friendly, but not intrusive. The house had a second lot which made an excellent area to walk the dogs, let them play and allow them to potty. The pier is totally enclosed and secure. Because it was a short pier, it wasn’t scary to walk out on. Our dogs really enjoyed sitting on the pier with my husband. The house has a nearly wrap around deck with a gate which allowed the dogs to hang out on the deck when they weren’t resting in the house. The bedrooms were large enough to put two large dog crates and still move around. The house had all the comforts of home. There was air conditioning (mostly unused since the weather was moderate for the most part), ceiling fans, televisions in the livingroom and in each bedroom (but who had time to watch tv?!), a washer and dryer, a dishwasher, and high speed internet access. The open floor plan lent the house a spacious feel. My husband enjoyed practicing his baking projects in the spacious kitchen where he could face the bay and watch the pelicans dive for fish. It was a lovely experience. I highly recommend staying here. I only wish they had vacation houses in other parts of the USRecommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway.

Aside from having trouble locating the cottage at night in a blinding rain storm we enjoyed our stay at A Nouste very much. The cottage was equipped with everything we needed. Sabin could not have been more accommodating and friendly. We found the town of Fairhope charming. For one week we happily traded the snowy north woods of Wisconsin for the warm Gulf waters of Alabama. We took a trip to Bellingrath Gardens, it was beautiful and worth the time. We were pleasantly surprised with the house. It was quiet, well kept and just what we needed for our little escape for the weekend. The kitchen was very well stocked (bring your own water filtering canister and zip lock bags for storage), the linens & towels were clean and abundant, the bathroom was clean and in good working order. There was no mold or mildew in the house and there was no musty odor to the house's interior!! The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms were very clean, spacious and quiet. The grounds were well kept and there was plenty of room for me to play with my two Shelties in the yard. The owner worked closely with me to help make this visit work. We had a wonderful time at Nouste. The house was clean and comfortable. The deck with rocking chairs was so relaxing. Even our dog loved the deck lying in the sun for hours. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking with the cabinets marked so you could find what you needed. Wish we could go back soon.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners.

We spent 10 wonderful enjoyable days at "A Nouste" (Nov. 1-10/2010). The home is very well equipped and everything was in good working order. We were there for a high school reunion and loved being able to have friends and family over to visit. The house is well arranged and the beds are very comfortable. There are lots of windows to enjoy the view and get crossbreeze. Information booklet about the house was very helpful. Great to have washer/dryer available. Loved sitting on the front porch watching pelicans, Blue Herons etc. It is a wonderful place to relax and we will plan to stay there again when in area.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

My husband and our dog recently vacationed at A Nouste. We have vacationed near Fort Morgan for years in VRBO homes. We decided to try the bay versus beach on this trip, and were a little concerned since we are such beach lovers. I must say we were not disappointed with our decision. The beauty of the area was extraordinary. If you are into beautiful sunsets then this is the place for you. If you have never visited the Bay area and the Fairhope area then you have missed out on a "little bit of heaven ". The house was well furnished with everything we needed and just as described on the website. The reservation process and check in and out was very easy. I am already working on my sister and niece for a girls' weekend. Finally, thanks for sharing your home with our boy, Bear. He had fun too.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Me and my wife stayed here for a quick 3 day weekend trip and loved it. Everything you could need is already at the house (Outdoor fans, radio's, gas grill, crab trap's, even saw some fising poles) you really just have to show up and enjoy. The views are great and the area is extremely quiet. The fishing is pretty good, did catch a lot of catfish but thouse make good crab bait (caugth 16 crab on the one day we tried) and you can catch about as many croaker as you want with shrimp. The only possible drawback to the house is that it only has about a 30 foot long pier whereas the neighbors are about 300 ft, but I personally liked that because I could be on the pier fishing with a few steps instead of making a long trip back and forth everytime. This was our first time in Fairhope and we loved it, quiet fishing community away from all of the noise but also only a 30 minute drive to Gulf Shores if you want to take a trip to the beach. I cannot imagine a house with more amenities than this one, and would recommend a stay here for anyone.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We spent a wonderful weekend reconnecting with our 2 grandsons and it was perfect for us. We spent time on the deck eating, star gazing and just general relaxing and visiting with our awesome grandsons. It was quiet, peaceful and comfortable. We spent each morning laying on the dock feeding the crabs - it was an priceless memory making time. Thanks for sharing your retreat with us!Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway.

My son lives in Alabama and we stayed at A Nouste when we went down for his wedding in August 2010. When we first saw the pictures for A Nouste online we were very pleased with the description and amenities. Today, we can honestly say that the pictures and description are just the beginning to describing the pleasure of this home. We loved (LOVED) the family feel of the place: very kid friendly with toys in the living room and kids' room; local literature and brochures awaited us; big family style kitchen; beautiful wraparound porch that--even in the Alabama heat--gave us much relief and comfort at the end of the day; and even a personalized note from the owners!! Being a family and social event for which we traveled, we had several people stopping by now and then and all commented on what a great place it was and how lucky we were to have found such a nice place online! We can't agree more. When we go down to visit our son and his family again, we not only know where we will be staying but look forward to it! Kimberly, Chris, and Vincent Zito. For two years my sister and I have stayed at "A Nouste" for the entire month of March. The first year that we arrived and acquainted ourselves with the cottage we thought, " This is great, real neat!" The second year that we arrived we thought, "This is home!" Each year was filled with special memories that we will cherish in our years to come. The pelicans flying to and fro, the singing of the seagulls as they sit on the docks, the variety of ducks swimming and diving for fish in the bay, the breeze from the ocean and the ever changing skies, are all part of being and living at Nouste. What a wonderful and comfortable place. My sister and I visited the town of Fairhope many times to investigate good places to eat, interesting places to walk, and shopping. There are also many sites outside the city of Fairhope: Mobile, Dauphin Island, Gulf Shores, Bellinggrath Gardens, and Blakelley State Park just to name a few. If you are bored while staying at Nouste it's only going to be by choice. I would not hesitate to recommend this cottage as the place to relax and enjoy nature. The owners are wonderful people and very accommodating to your needs. My sister and I are looking forward to our third March in Fairhope.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, pet owners, sightseeing.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. This was a girls getaway and we found it to be so relaxing! The cottage was very comfortable and suited our needs. We enjoyed the porch as we were there every evening and morning enjoying the breeze, birds etc. There was NO sign of oil at all. The water was clear, there were boats out and also some of the neighbors children were swimming in the water! We shopped in Fairhope and ate excellent seafood at the Old Bay Steamer in downtown Fairhope. Looking forward to coming back soon!!!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

We had a wonderful time in your house. Everything was just as advertised, only better. On the last day my husband stated that this was the most comfortable vrbo house we have ever stayed in. It was absolutely great. We crabbed one day, caught (and ate) 14 crabs - such fun.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing.

From the moment we walked through the door, we loved this cottage. It has the perfect cottage-feel, including two our favorite things....loads of windows and a porch overlooking the water. The kitchen and bathroom had everything you could need. The bed was very comfortable. The porch is wonderful in all weather...provides both shade and shelter from the rain so we were able to sit outside all day if we wanted (and we did). I was completely contented sitting out there in a rocker and reading, watching the weather change over the bay. Do tear yourself away, however, to visit Fairhope. It's full of interesting stores and restaurants. Very picturesque town, and the surrounding area is as well. Never tired of looking at the bay.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I was nervous about renting a house on the internet. WOW! This home exceed any expecations I had! The location was beautiful, the owner knowledgeable and helpful. The house was so well appointed I couldn't believe it. I love to cook and everything I needed was there! Inculding cast iron pans! We cooked on the supplied BBQ grill and what can I say about the wrap around porch, rocking chairs and tables to enjoy! We even enjoyed catching the local crabs, in our case catch and release as we don't eat crab. We arrived in town with our car on the back of a flatbed tow truck and the owners helped us any way they could, even when a certain flatbed tow truck caused an additional problem. Definitly enjoy the second bathroom, nothing like this coming out of the shower, covered of course and enjoying the breeze off the bay. We were at the house in June and it was hot but the breeze made the porch so enjoyable, we took the owners advice and enjoyed the porch! (lots of trivial pursuit games). The only thing I would point out is that Downtown Fairhope is pretty much closed on Sundays for the summer. Check before you go to any local establishments. If we were going back to Fairhope I would so stay here again! I can not tell you enough nice things about the house and the owners! I was way more impressed than I thought I'd be. FIVE STARS in my humble opinion!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Our stay at A'Nouste was perfect! We moved to Alabama in 2007 and this was our first trip to the gulf area. The ammenities were perfect! Even had wireless access! The owners are pet friendly and our dogs loved hanging out on the deck. This house has so much personality! The weather was perfect. How quickly can I get back to this comfy, cozy cottage with the perfect setting? I have never felt so at home in a home I have never been in. This rental is very welcoming and "user friendly". We enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner on the deck, listening to the water. The owners made sure that we would have everything we needed and went to great lengths to make sure we knew where everything was -which made us feel even more at home. It is located in a part of the beach that truly has maintained it's charm. It is a real Mobile Bay living...simple, family, fun. PS - Be sure to go crabbing!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Where to start? A Nouste was perfect for us from start to finish. The cabin itself is very comfortable and the kitchen is very accommodating for cooking. We have come to prefer rentals like this over hotels, and this met all of our needs, such as a beautiful view of the bay, a nice pier to hang out on & catch crabs off of, and a comfortable wrap around balcony outside complete with a gas grill. The area is very quiet and safe; a great place to relax. Even our dogs enjoyed it! Sabin, the host, is very helpful if you have any questions about the property or the town. We can't recommend this enough, and we will certainly return!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

A Nouste, Was a great place to stay in October, I can't say enough about our stay at the house. We felt completely at home. The freindliness of the people of Fairhope was just amazing, Sitting on the porch in the evening looking out into the bay was quiet and relaxing after a long day on the water. I will be back and when ever someone mentions a vacation. I tell them about Fairhope and the great place we stayed at.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
