Come and enjoy this beautifully built free-standing home in the Los Pueblos Compound nestled against ancient Taos Pueblo land and foothills near the heart of Taos. Relax in front of the adobe kiva fireplace and take in the beautiful views.
We love just being in the house with the rounded plastered walls, beamed ceilings, quiet warm radiant-heated brick floors, Spanish antique furniture and eye catching art.
The kitchen has everything you need for preparing your own meals and the Miele and Monogram appliances are certainly a joy to use.
The bedrooms are private and peaceful and separated by the living space. Each bedroom has a TV and its own bathroom.
If you love to walk you will delight in the quiet walking trail outside our home along the Pueblo land or the street either will take you into town. Walk to the historic Taos Plaza, Mabel Dodge Lujan House, dozens of galleries, shops and restaurants.
If you love to ski the World Class Taos Ski Valley mountain is a wonderful experience and only 20 minutes away.
Come and play or relax - We love Taos

My wife and I love Taos, and this wonderful getaway makes it even more memorable. Quiet, and just far enough away from the din of the square, but still walkable. Convenient for us with our bikes. Love the patio facing the mountains to the east. Very responsive owner. Will stay there again, and again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway.

Your really can't do better than a place like this - all the charm of Northern New Mexico architecture and so inexpensive! It is only about a mile from the plaza in Taos, so easy walking/biking to anywhere in Taos. Very nicely furnished all through the home, including the fulling appointed kitchen, fireplace, washer/dryer and plesant, quiet deck with bar-be-que. Quiet location - coyotes yipping while we were there - interesting wildlife next door in the reservation and of course all the mountain/desert environemnt you want when visiting Taos. Easy access to Ski Basin and everything in Taos. Wonderful!Recommended for: Girls getaway, people with disabilities, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

We found this property just as described, or better: comfortable, spacious, quiet, and elegantly appointed. The owners were gracious and helpful. We would love to return. Restaurants we would recommend (if you leave the house) are The Stakeout and The Dragonfly Café. And don't miss the cowboy antique shop on Kit Carson Rd just east of the intersection of the Paseo del Pueblo.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway.

Thank you so much Caroline, we really enjoyed our stay in your home!!!
