This beautifully decorated home is nestled in the tall pines with a gorgeous view overlooking Nevada City. The Yuba River is just minutes away and lakes abound for fishing, kayaking, water and jet skiing. We call this area the "Carmel of the Sierras". The town boasts of great restaurants and the cultural aspects which include live theatre, musical venues, an abundance of book stores and art studios. And, oh yes, did I mention Class A shopping?
Step outside the home for a nice walk on a trail leading to beautiful vistas of snow capped mountains or jump on your bikes for some great mountain or road bike riding. Meander around the property and pick some fresh veggies from the garden or if you are in luck the peaches and cherries might be ripe for the picking. The neighbor up the hill is the officionado of gold mining antiquities in Nevada County and owns a display second to none. He's a quiet kind of guy but is usually happy to answer questions and show off his wares.
The home has two beautiful master suites both with comfortable queen size beds that will leave you rested for the next days adventure. There is also an office area complete with large desk and filing cabinet. The high ceilings give it a spacious quality and the gourmet kitchen awaits your creativity. This home has a wonderful indoor outdoor quality about it giving it a casual yet elegant feel.
