What a great apartment! The owner was extremely helpful in getting us oriented with maps, guidebooks and transportation information. The apartment was very clean with fresh sheets and towels. We appreciated the location of the apartment most. The apartment was well situated to walk anywhere in Rome. In the evenings the tram provided a quick and convenient way to return home. Loved it and would definitely stay there again...

We found this place at almost the last minute in October for 4 nights. We kept congratulating ourselves for cancelling our B & B and taking this because it was such a find. The apartment is very clean, simple and well laid out, but the very best part is the location! -- near the tram into the centre of the city, near the train to the airport, in a quiet neighbourhood with shops and restaurants close by. And Antonella herself is also wonderful -- extremely helpful. She answered all of our questions, met us at the apartment, gave us lots of info abt Rome and the little trattoria she recommended in the neighbourhood was fantastic. This is not a fancy place, but if you want a good base in Rome, and aren't looking for luxury, it's great

We had the rental for 5 nights and it was one of the cleanest places to stay we had for our two weeks in Italy. We did not do any of our own cooking but the kitchen was well set up with pots, pans and dishes. It was conveniently located next to a light rail train line that would get you close to all the attractions. Simple furnishings and not a whole lot of luxury but it is a good value on price because of that. The owner was extremely responsive to emails and was very pleasant to work with. I would recommend this as a place to stay for the budget minded traveler. As plus, it’s on the ground floor, but very quiet at night. Bed was a bit thin but that is the only complaint I might have. Owner even had a very helpful 3 ring binder put together with maps to restaurants, laundry, grocery all within a couple blocks that was very helpful.

I was very impressed by the level of hospitality at this neat and affordable place. An unexpected bonus was the wealth of helpful information about the area and Rome in general. Importantly, the place was cool enough for me to be able to work and sleep without making use of the available air con, even in mid-August. The furniture and equipment made me feel like a guest in a nice private flat, rather than some soul-less hotel.

This is a studio-type apartment (bedroom, kitchen, bathroom) situated in a relatively quiet neighborhood near many transportation options into the center of Rome (tram 8 to Largo di Torre Argentina, bus H to Rome Stazione Termini, etc.). The apartment was on the ground floor with two small steps down to get into the building (the rest was all on one level). Security for the apartment was top notch (key to get into apartment building & deadbolt on door for the apartment). There is a grocery store within a block and a farmer's market two stops down on the tram 8 (Piazza San Giovanni di Dio). There are numerous good restaurants and local "fast food" within walking distance. The apartment is small, but the vaulted ceilings made it seem larger. The kitchen (stove, microwave, sink, small fridge) is also small but adequate to cook up some of the items you picked up at the farmer's market. The furniture is "student" style (not fancy). The apartment was clean, well maintained, and had air conditioning. The apartment wifi worked well. The owner was VERY responsive to our questions and minor concerns. The owner provided a map to local restaurants and attractions. It makes a great base for visiting the sights of Rome and beyond. We would recommend this place to other couples and would stay there again.
Owner response:Dear Douglas, thanks a lot for your nice review. I have really appreciated it. Arrivederci! Antonella

Excellent accommodation in a very nice neighborhood of Rome. Plenty of amenities nearby and in particular the availability of a regular tram service right outside the door was great. You never have to wait more than five minutes for the next tram to take you right into the city centre. Trastevere train station is also very close. Apartment was in great condition and the owner was very courteous and helpful. Highly recommended.
