The property is very lovely, the rooms are spacious and nice, A/c , hot water. Just as the photo on the website and the property, well, well kept. The pool relaxing, swim at your own leisure. The view of the ocean is breath taking especially when the sun is setting, you just watch it go down. The staff are very polite and friendly, the cook, she can surely cook up a storm for you. You name it and she cook it. How can i forget the golf game, it is off the chain!!! very exciting and challenging. Overall this i a home away from home, very quiet and relaxing and fun filling.

Wow! Wow! Wow! That sums up our time at your lovely villa. We enjoyed ourselves, your satff was warm and responsive and made us feel very at home.

I've stayed at this villa twice and will stay there whenever I'm in JA. Plenty of space, modern amenities and great staff. Home away from home, but u still feel like ur on holiday...the ocean views are breathtaking...try it, u'll love it.

FB family, if you ever need somewhere to stay in Jamaica that is absolutely beautiful, private and as close to home as possible. Garryowens Villa in Runaway Bay is the place to stay. It's ad close to heaven as some of us will ever get. Check it out.

My family, 10 people just returned from our Christmas vacation at Garryowen Villa. It was truly splendid! The view is incredible, it is extremely private, spacious, and immaculately clean. The attentive staff, Miss Betty, Michael, Miss Rose, and Ordain treated us like royalty! We loved the fruit trees, which provided several fruits including delicious limes and lemonade. Phyllis and her sister were extremely helpful and informative prior to our stay. Once at the villa, Phyllis and Gary were very attentive to our needs. The TV in the living room wasn't working, so Phyllis & Gary showed up with a brand new 42inch TV to replace it. The photos of the villa don't really indicate how truly beautiful it is. We will be back! Thank you Phyllis, Gary, and staff...

Dear Phyliss Of course this includes Gary, Micheal, Bisson, Lurlene, Keisha and Odi. Many thanks to you all for giving us all a wonderful and warm welcome which we pleasantly experienced during all of our stay. You offered everything you said you would and more. Because of the way you provided your service this made our stay at the villa and indeed in Jamaica that much more wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble for you and you made us feel like we were at home. Our biggest regret of course is that we did not stay longer. We are already missing the cooking, the food, and the hands on care that you charmingly provided. We have told as many people as we can already and you can sense their envy as we excitedly tell them about the wonderful time and experience we had. We are already looking at our next dates to travel, although this might be in Europe, however we know that the temptation to return to Jamaica will be too strong and we will succumb to it perhaps even before the year is out. If we do you can expect a call from us. In the meantime you know that we took some pictures and will happily forward them to you shortly. Regards

Gary Owen property was unexplainable it was a peace of heaven on earth. The villa was very clean, spacious, private, relaxing, and quite. The staff was awesome. We well defenetly be planning on going back in the near future. Andre and Keshia were great at making us feel like we were at home they helped out whenever we needed them they are awesome people very kind hearted and very easy to get along with and grow close to. We spent two weeks at the villa and couldnt have asked for anything more. on the other hand my wedding took place at the villa and everything was perfect, everything i had ever imagined my wedding to be, phyllis and marie were awesome they made my day perfect not only my day but the the two weeks we spent on the property. I give this villa a 10 out of 10 and would recommend this villa to anyone who is ever planning to travel jamaica. I have been to Jamaica plenty of times and never experinced anything like what we had experienced! Keep up the good work =) Lajray & Candice Gordon and the gang.

A group of friends and myself took a gamble and booked the Garryowen Villa after speaking many times with Phyliss, Jan 31 to Feb 7th, 2010. We've always stayed at resorts in jamaica but this trip we wanted to expereince something different so we booked with Phylis. We made the best decision ever, we loved the villa. It was sooo beautiful, clean, spacious, relaxing, private. We couldnt have asked for more, the staff (Andre', Keisha) were great they became a part of out group. Andre the groundskeeper was wonderful, what ever we needed he was there to give us we loved it. My friend held her weddingon the grounds as well and it was beautiful. Phylis and her aunt the wedding planer Marie did a great job, the wedding day was soo relaxing we didnt have to worry about a thing but looking beautiful. I would highly recommend this property to anyone...it was the best Jamaican expereince I've have soo far, and I've been to Jamaica 5 times in two years. Three Gold stars from me and the rest of our group.

We've only been home a week and are already trying to figure out when we can come back! This villa is amazing! Spacious, comfortable and very clean. We all seemed to unwind and relax almost instantly. My insomnia completely disappeared here! The pool and the view are breathtaking and the grounds are absolutely beautiful. The day we arrived, we said hello to the staff. However, the day we left, we said goodbye to family. It was a very tearful farewell. Miss Betty and Keisha are so sweet and caring. We looked forward to seeing them every day! Miss Betty's meals were 5 star. We're still craving her chicken pumpkin soup and shrimp curry! Our driver Troy was awesome. He was fun and very knowledgeable of the island. We saw more of Jamaica than we could have ever imagined! Phyllis and Garry, thank you and your staff for a wonderful vacation. My family and I had the most spectacular time at The Hill Top Villa where the ambiance set a mood of warmth and relaxation in obsolute private, peace and quiet. The view there is so magnificent and the accommodation was most sensational. There was a lot to revel to such as the beach, a famost historic cave (The Green Gratto Cave) which is a must see, gulf and much much more. I must say its a definite of us going back there.

Cleve & Joan Bispott, My wife and I recently stayed at Garryowen Villa early last year for our 10th anniversary and it was like a dream came through.Everything that Phyllis explained to us via email about the villa was true and more.The staff was absolutely fantastic,especially the freshly prepared meals.It was very relaxing especially by the pool over looking the ocean and when we needed some night life they arranged a driver with one of their vehicles to take us to Ocho Rios which was half an hour away.Not to mention Dunns River Falls which was only 20 minutes away.All in all we had the time of our life and we will definitely return again.

Phyllis, I went to the web site and was not sure where to put my comments, so I am just e-mailing you. Happy New Year to you, too. We had a safe flight home. Our stay at Garryowen Villa was a memorable one. We had a wonderful time. I loved the spaciousness of the villa and the view was the best!! We all loved to walk out to the pool each morning and look out over the landscape and the Caribbean. Although we would have liked to have been closer to the beach, you just couldn't beat that view!! The staff was unbelievable. Chris made us feel so welcome and he was always willing to help. He would call taxi's for us and the first day, he walked us to the beach. How sweet. Ms. Betty and Gilda are great cooks and would never let us lift a finger. They cooked us local favorites, which were great to experience. They also cooked us our favorites! Make sure that you tell them how much we appreciated them. Thanks again for a wonderful time and experience. I will make sure to recommend Garryowen to all my friends! Kelli

This Villa is simply AMAZING! It is extremely comfortable, and the surrounding nature is a sight to see. The staff is very freindly and they immediately make you feel at home. The only heartbreak about this place is having to leave when vacation time is over!

This is my favorite place to visit when I am in Jamaica. Its very big and very beautiful. I love swimming in the pool and later in the day watch the sunset from the pooldeck. The staff is very welcoming to me and can make really good food. Everytime I go to Jamaica I will stay at Garryowen Villa.

I have experienced a real Vacation for the first time in 15 Years. I have listened to people speak of Jamaica and its charm for many years, but I have finally experienced it for my self! The Gary Owen Villa was the most beautiful place I have stayed and really enjoyed the tranquility it offered to my family. We have seen the ships and the lights at nights from the pool deck and visited local markets and enjoyed every minute of the lifestyle. We will definately go back each year. I HAD THE BEST TIME AT THIS VILLA!! It was quiet and private, tucked away on the hillside. The view is magnificent. Authentic Jamaican cuisine prepared daily by a private cook. I walked to the beach every day for exercise and my driver picked me up in the afternoon. If you're looking to get away from the noise and traffic of the resorts this is the place. I've been all over Jamaica and this villa is my favorite. It's newly listed on this website but I've been there 4 times in the past 5 years. Thanks so much for a wonderful vacation!
