    • Dear Britt I want you to know that my family and I found your home so perfect for our stay! There was plenty of room for all of us and my grandsons (1 and 4) loved the big back yard to run around in. I wanted to especially thank you for the use of the Bay Museum membership card. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 - almost 5 - hours there! We went on the Monday after the big Wine and Food event. Just my son and mother and I. There were only a few patrons and all the staff were so helpful and made our day very educational. We also enjoyed our trip down to Snow Hill and the Furnace Town Living History Museum. We took a long way home through back roads and saw a lot of the Eastern Shore. Every one in the family enjoyed Oxford Family Day and sailing on the Rebecca Ruark Skipjack with Captain Wade. And it was an added treat to be the first guests out this season on the Lady Patty with Captain Richards. I am so glad that I found your home on VRBO and will certainly recommend it to anyone who wants a real authentic experience living the Eastern Shore life. Thank you so very much.

    • Myself and 4 other guys stayed here while waterfowl hunting in the area....We were all terribly impressed with the cottage..We found everything we could have needed, the cottage is thoroughly equipped for every cooking need. It was clean and nicely appointed with books, local tourist info and electronic entertainment.. We couldn't have asked for more and will continue to stay here when in the area..

    • Four of us stayed at "The Roost" for a weekend in November. Our visit coincided with the Waterfowl Festival in nearby Easton. We enjoyed going to the festival, but it was nice to return to a quiet and cozy place a little out-of-the-way. The Roost was so comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

    • In early September 2008 my husband and I enjoyed a relaxing extended weekend at The Roost, and were delighted with the visit. The house was spotless, warm and cozy, with every necessity provided. Tilghman's quiet, peaceful environs were wonderful for biking, walking and catching up on a few good books. The Bay Hundred Restaurant, on the waterfront within walking distance, had wonderful pasta, seafood and a beautiful sunset! We'd definitely return, and tell our friends.

    • In April 2008, we stayed for a weekend at the Roost to celebrate our daughter's 30th birthday!!! There was 5 of us and we all had a wonderful time!! Shopping in downtown St. Michael's in the evening was great and returning to the island to have dinner at the Bay Hundred restaurant was wonderful. The Roost is just a very lovely home, clean, neat and comfortable. We absolutely loved staying at the roost and looking forward to our next Tilghman Island adventure.

    • Delightful little cottage, neat as a pin. We also enjoyed dinners in the waterfront restaurant by the bridge, which was within walking distance (try the crab cakes), and seeing bald eagles flying overhead. Tilghman is a sleepy little town, but we were looking to avoid the tourist hubbub of St. Michael's. Thank you for the stay, Britt, and we hope to be back again!
