Watch the sun & moon rise in this east facing recently remodeled 2BR plus cabin located on pristine(17' clarity)Deer Lake. Stroll onto the dock to take the provided 14' Alumacraft fishing boat with 10 hp motor fishing for world class muskie, bass and walleye.
BBQ in the screened gazebo under a 100 year old virgin white pine while the kids play on the beach. The provided canoe will allow easy trips around nearby Bear Island to show the kids a Bald Eagle nest in the wild.

Four beautiful golf courses within 30 minute drive. 10 Minute drive to Suomi Hills Hiking & recreation area. Public boat landing on lake so bring your own fish/ski boat. 1 1/2 hour drive to Itasca State Park, headwaters of the Mississippi River. 10 Mi to White Oak Casino in Deer River, MN

This newly remodeled pine paneled 2 bedroom cabin features stunning views of the lake located only 40' from the low sandy beach shore. Master BR features a queen and second bedroom has 2 twin beds. Bunk bed in laundry room handles the kids. Futon takes care of the "visiting cousins" in the living room. Washer and dryer in laundry room. Remodeled kitchen with new pine cabinets & counter tops.

  • The photos don't do the cabin justice. They thought of everything: Fully equipped kitchen including tupperware, foil, saran and ziplocs and fully equipped bathroom right down to cotton balls and Q-tips. It was great to have the on - site laundry. When they say the lake is clear, they aren't kidding. The fish were practically jumping into the boat which was great entertainment for our 3.5 year old. The lake was beautiful, the cabin was so comfortable, clean and roomy. What a relaxing week! Thanks for thinking of everything, Andersons!

  • What a wonderful spot to vacation! It is like a quiet little paradise that you feel privileged to experience. The four of us spent an entire week here and loved every bit of it. This was definitely the most relaxing vacation we have ever had, and we plan on returning again and again. Dennis and Betty, you are amazing and so welcoming.   • We just got back from our week's stay at Dennis and Betty's rental cabin. This was our first family vacation and it was wonderfull. The cabin is beautiful, the lake is full of fish, the beach is beautiful and Dennis and Betty are the nicest, most accommodating hosts you could ask for. I would recommend this cabin to all you fellow vacation seekers.

    We just acquired this property and after complete renovation, in and out, are offering it for rent by the week, month or complete summer season. New pine paneling throughout and complete new kitchen. Boat, motor and canoe go with rental.
