This month was less crowded and still very pleasant. Our family was down for a reunion. (From various parts of the country). They all had a wonderful time and enjoyed the pleasantries of Playa Encantada. Special thanks to some of my neighbors who opened accomodations to us also. We've witnessed several beach weddings. This week, the island was very crowded. The beaches were full of snow birds (guests from the north)getting their last week-end "in" before heading back north and the beginning signs of college students returning for their summer jobs on the island. The weather was absolutely beautiful.

An amazing an relaxing vacation...the condo is lovely. We played tennis every morning. We enjoyed the various local restaraunts. The weather was 85ish and sunny every day. It felt wonderful...Thank you for sharing this amazing peice of paradise with us.

We loved the condo - the location was great and the condo lovely! Thank you for our wonderful vacation. The Gulf was 88 degrees..just beautiful. Played scrabble with the kids. Enjoyed columbian cuban food in the cirle area of St Armands, Sarosota, the Sandbar on the island. Anna Maria Oyster Bar was a great but quick lunch. The kids were charged a penny per inch! Can't beat that!....The only downside was we were here during the Red Tide. So we had to travel up to Tarpon Springs (Howard Beach) to swim in the Red Tide free water and then south to Englewood Beach another day. Both were nice day trips. Thanks for the great memories! We loved the vacation!

Rhythmic waves, clean sand beaches, wonderful people and warm sunny days all totalled to a great getaway for us. We enjoyed the Bonefish Seafood restaraunt (75th & Cortez)...We walk down the beach to the Beach Cafe...A Pancake breakfast - All you can eat until (11am). Perfect! $6.oo. What a bargain. After walking back...sat out on the patio and enjoyed the breeze and sounds of the Gulf and pool activity. You can imagine how peaceful that was. I love it here. We will be back.. Thanks for opening up your home to us.

Our kids played tennis, endless hours of marco Polo in the pool, shuffleboard, and playing on the beach. We went to Mot Aquarium, DeSoto National Park, the Pier with daily trips to the Publix and Beach unlimited. We saw Manatee in the Bay and at the Mote Aquarium. We wish we could stay longer. ...Also enjoyed reading ...The Purpose Driven Life and will purchase the book when we return home. First time I've had a chance to read in a long time.

...a comfortable, homey condo. We spent all of our time at the pool and the beach. Had wonderful meals at the sandbar, Banana Cabana, Moores Stone Crab, and Skinny's. The Mote Aquarium was also a hit with our kids. Thanks Again!

...The walkways and patios at the Playa Encantada were freshly painted during our stay. Also the landscaping around the pool area has a new look. Be sure to tell our property manager how nice it looks when you see him...Enjoy!

Had a wonderful time in this glorious vacation retreat! Even though the weather did not co-operate every day, it was 100% better than Chicago. We drove around much more, this visit. Sarasota is a beautiful City. Everywhere seems accessible. We are looking forward to our next visit

To our new and returning guests, The months of July and August were very pleasant. it rained for an hour or so most days but even so, the sun was shinning and warm (90's) great for sitting around the pool and getting in the water....AHH! Have a great time and enjoy your stay!

How nice of you and your guests to have left a well-stocked kitchen...For those interested in great food, we think Ohh La La (French Restaraunt)is by far the best restaraunt on the island. We also like DaGeorgio's too. Both are in walking distance of this place. We do hope to return.. Thank you!

For first time visitors, we have a "new" island trolley. It travels from Anna Maria Tip down to Coquina Beach and back. This week the beach front was "overhauled" with new sands at our 58th street beach entrance. The shoreline has been expanded. Don't forget to come outside and watch the gorgeous sunset. Enjoy!
