Come enjoy the Sail House! A tremendous view of the reef in the distance and an island of laid-back fun await.
The Sail House is 3 stories with a large deck on the top floor giving outstanding views in all directions. There is a beautiful handcrafted, teak wood, staircase which leads to the bedrooms upstairs. The entire house is built of rich dark woods including hardwood floors throughout.
There is an extensive water filtration system offering drinking water in both bathrooms and the kitchen. Each sink has 2 faucets - one with well water and the other with filtered rain water.
There is also a washing machine - but we ask that you limit usage to two loads per week's stay to conserve water.

Year Purchased: 2007
We currently live in California (I'm originally from Washington). Our 1st daughter, Ella, was born in 2008 and we are expecting another. We love travelling. Some of our favorite places include Paris, Lake Como in Italy, Capri, Kenya, and of course... BELIZE. We have less time to travel these days as our family grows, but we love sharing our place in Belize and look forward to more time in such beautiful places around the world.

Love Belize, specifically Caye Caulker! Short trip there, but a lifetime away from the hustle of our life at home. The motto of the island is "Go Slow".... perfect! People travel around the small island on foot, bike or golf cart. You can walk anywhere on the island in minutes. It's just too perfect.
The Unique Benefits of this House
The Sail House is a great place to get away from it all. It has a third level, wrap around balcony with amazing views of the Caribbean and the reef system. You can see the waves breaking on the reef from the master bedroom. The home has a rain water filtration system with drinkable water (rare in more vacation rentals on the island). With 3 queen beds and an expandable futon, it sleeps a good sized group. Having the 2 bathrooms, full kitchen and washing machine make for a very comfortable stay after being out on the ocean all day.
