Legacy Villas - The newest premier vacation rental property, held to the highest quality standards by the world famous Waldorf Astoria La Quinta Hotel next door. Use their spa, it is open to the public and does not require you stay there or membership.
Beautifully landscaped gardens, tall palm trees and fountains nestled in the Santa Rosa Mountains make this a property of distinction and a feast for the eyes. This Villa has lock-off capabilities so you have either 1, 2, or 3 bedroom rental options.

Location, location, location...
* Close to clubhouse, Legacy Grill and pool for convenience but not right on top of it. You can slip away from all the activity and noise when you want a peaceful setting. You won't have to drive to the pool with the kids, it is steps away.
* Single story, 1705 square foot 3 bedroom/3 bath villa, means no steps to climb and no one over you like the regular Villas. Staying here leaves you with the peace and quite that you need or the party and fun that won't impose on others. Our specific property is family-friendly since it is both a single story property AND close the the clubhouse and pool. This home was built in the last phase of the development. It is new and only a year old, decorated in soft earth tones with high quality amenities and appliances.
* Views to the Southwest of the beautiful Santa Rosa Mountain Range with an unobstructed view from the living room, dinning room and main master bedroom. It's what you expect from a vacation getaway.
* 2 king beds and 1 queen bed. Most Villas, unless coverted at the owners expense, have only 1 king bed. Stay here with another couple and you don't have to draw straws for who gets the best accommodations. In our Villa, you both do; making this the perfect vacation for all members of the family, children, parents and grand parents.
* Since this is a private ownership, please know that we pay the utmost attention to the upkeep of our property. Our goal is to provide you with the best quality experience at an affordable price so you will refer us to your friends and family.
* Very Kid friendly - there is a small grass area directly off the two patios, ideal if you have small children. They can play within your immediate sight and within the confines of our gated community. All this while relax on the patio and taking in the sites.
Attractions: The Coachella Valley has a myriad of activities from which to choose including golf, hiking, shopping, ballooning, theater, casinos and music. There is the Living Desert Wildlife Park, the Desert Museum, the Children's Discovery Museum, the Agua Caliente Indian Canyons Park (fabulous giant Palm Tree forest with stream running through (should not be missed!) and last, but by no means least, The great Joshua Tree National Park--it is not just a bunch of scrawny trees)--massive rock formations, abandoned mines and ranches from the turn of the century, fascinating desert flora and fauna and views of the entire Coachella Valley. Easy access to Palm Desert, Palm Springs and Indio.

This is a beautiful villa on an amazing property. We had a great stay. The villa was well stocked as far as plates, pans, etc. (while some of our friends' villas were not). Everything was clean and in working order. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a beautiful and quiet place to getaway and soak up some sun. The property is very kid friendly, close to the main pool and our 3 kids had a great time. I hope to come back and visit again. Thanks for an amazing time!!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

My family has stayed at several different properties rented through VRBO and this is the first review I have ever done. If you are going to Legacy Villas, this is the place to stay. Dealing with the owner, Steve was extremely easy. Once we arrived at the unit we were pleasantly surprised with all of the add-ons. Bring your clothes and groceries, everything else is there (spices, toiletries, pool toys, just to name a few). We rented out the 3 bdrm condo and it felt like we were all alone. No one above us or below us. The location couldn't be better, just a short walk (20 seconds-with 3 kids in tow) and you are at the best pool in the complex (In my opinion). Kids pool, big pool and splash park. Plus, a tasty cantina with great cold beverages for adults! I have already recommended this to friends and we just returned home and I plan on booking the same unit again next year.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, people with disabilities.

Great stay - thank you. The villa was in great shape and had been prepared for our visit. I have stayed at many of the units at Legacy, and will not hesitate to return to this one. The owner was helpful and prompt in returning correspondence. Love the walk down to The La Quinta Resort and on to the Bear Park trail, and out to the Cove area. Great coffee and wine in Old Towne!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

This was a perfect location for our girls weekend. We could easily walk to La Quinta resort and enjoy the amenities there but the pool and fitness center at the Legacy Villas as by far nicer and quieter. Having a great kitchen, nice patio and wonderfully comfortable beds and plenty of room, it was perfect.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, age 55+.

We had a fantastic week long stay at this villa! This was our second trip to legacy villas and we liked that this unit was on the ground floor...made it easier to bring the kids (5 and 3) outside to burn off some energy! There were two patios with seating areas outside the master bedroom and the dining area...perfect for morning coffee or a glass of wine after the kids were in bed. The master suite was large and there was room for 2 blow up beds for the kids on the floor in our room. There were a few small glitches that the owner was very responsive to dealing with...security at the gate hadn't received documentation from the owner that we were coming, but a quick phone call to the owner fixed that. Our plane arrived in the morning, and the owner was very accommodating allowing us early check in around noon. The villa itself was very clean and well kept. We discovered the BBQ was out of propane, but the owner arranged for the property manager to bring a new tank the next day. This unit was very close to the clubhouse and main pool area, which we appreciated with the kids. I highly recommend Legacy Villas to anyone going to the Palm springs area with young kids...the pool area is great and has a spray park too. The pool gets deeper gradually, like a lake, so even babies could sit in the shallow area and splash around with their toys. There doesn't seem to be a playground in the complex, but we found a few to visit in La Quinta. Would definitely recommend this unit and the owner was very easy to deal with. He sent a formal lease agreement and accepted payment through PayPal, which was nice for security.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, age 55+.

This is one of my favorite villas (location, location, location) and we were so glad to see that it was available again. Close to the main pool with a lap pool near by so everyone in our party needs were met. This is a wonderful unit; nicely decorated, well equipped and maintained. The patio area is nice and private, with beautiful views of the mountains close by. The clubhouse and pool facilities are fabulous ! The complex is very short walk to the La Quinta Resort shops/restaurants, etcetera. We stayed for 3 nights at the 3 bedroom and had a wonderful time. Legacy Villa's offers great amenities and plenty to do in the area. We arrived to find a clean, perfectly appointed condo with a kitchen with all the pots, pans, spices and necessities. The rooms were quiet and each one has its own television. My daughter said even the pull out couch was comfortable! We will stay at this condo again.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Our weekend stay was perfect! The property is beautifully landscaped and family friendly; or if you wish, it can also be a private romantic venue. It depends on what you have in mind. Everything inside and out was very well manicured, and made it very easy to spend the weekend relaxing at one of the 3 pools, or in one of the 3 private patios with an awesome view of the mountains. The Condo was well stocked with all living necessities. Just bring your own food, if desired. We had numerous family members stay at other villas, so we were able to visit with them and at the end of the day, retreat to our own private get a way. Eateries are plentiful in the immediate vicinity. You can choose from drive-thru restaurants to exclusive fine dining all within a 5 - 10 minute drive. And for Golfers, all I can say it that my Husband was in heaven! We hope to again return soon.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, age 55+.
