Charming contemporary house on 2 tastefully landscaped acres in prestigious neighborhood at East Quogue-Quogue border. You can reach beautiful quiet Southampton town’s open ocean beaches by a relaxed bike ride (15 min) or drive (5 min) through Quogue mansions area. Or sail, canoe or windsurf at nearby Shinnecock or Peconic Bays (5-15 min drive). Enjoy hiking and birdwatching at nearby Quogue wildlife reserve, with children's zoo and Nature museum. Or spend an afternoon visiting the North fork wineries, located only 15 min away.
Dine at a large variety of restaurants within 30 min radius in Quogue, Westhampton, Southampton, or Sag Harbor. There are many antique shops in the area and various shopping centers within a 20 min driving range. The quaint East Quogue and Quogue villages are ideal for biking or walking; there is a very attractive library in Quogue with free movies, internet and various community activities (children book readings, classic movie discussions, yoga classes, etc).
Sorry, the house is not available for PROM group rental. We prefer to rent our house to families or to responsible adults over 30 years old.
The house has a fully maintained clay tennis court and a 20x40 heated pool on a large, recently built mahogany deck. Its main floor boasts an elegantly renovated kitchen with wood cabinets and stainless steel appliances (european-style refrigerator, stove, wine cooler, 2 dishwashers), next to the living room with cathedral ceiling and wood-burning fireplace. The main floor has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms including the Master suite with kingsize bed and jacuzzi, the Junior Master suite, third bedroom and a study or fourth bedroom with fast internet conection. The second floor has 2 additional bedrooms and a full bathroom. The fully developed basement has an entertainment center, fussball, games and 2 additional bedrooms with a bathroom. Why the Owner Chose East Quogue
The Quogue area attracted us because of its peaceful, quiet beauty and elegant simplicity. Its closeness to the Sag Harbor artistic scene and to very nice restaurants in the Hamptons is also an attraction to us.
The Unique Benefits at this Contemporary House
We are dedicated gardeners and take pride in having constructed a beautiful garden. We enjoy biking to the Ocean beaches in Quogue and watching the sunsets.
