This was my 2 trip to Paris and it was truly a enjoyable experience. The great service from Jules and his team started months before my arrival, from the time I started to book the apartment. My wife, my friends and their children arrived in Paris where they were greeted promptly by Jules' driver at the airport. The apartment's location was excellent. It enabled us to walk to the major sites and to reach any place by bus or by metro very swiftly. I will defintely recommend this place to anyone, especially first timers to Paris. Thank you very much Jules. Cheers.

Confortable apartement, well located, hard to find

This apartment is comfortable and located in a fabulous area. It was hard to find a 3 bedroom with 2 bathrooms and 4 real beds in the center of Paris.The price was reasonable for a group of 7 like us. It is hip, local, and good location for metro/shopping access. Since the neighborhood is local, the restaurant and cafe options are plenty without tourist prices. Markets are nearby, baguettes on the corner, wonderful restaurants. There is a monoprix nearby for shopping/groceries as well. There is a washer and a dryer, but they are not easy to operate for non-locals. We got some assistance over the phone which resolved the issue. An instruction book would have been appreciated. The street is noisy but once the windows are closed, we heard practically nothing. Ground transportation is very convenient too. All in one a good experience.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Be careful renting this property

I have been renting vacation properties for over 10 years, in Europe, in Canada, in Mexico and the U.S. This is the worst experience I've had. First, the property information is not correct. It is in the 4th arrondissement, not 1st. Its location on the map is also not accurate. Second, there is no microwave (stated in description), and the oven and stove did not work. When malfunction was reported to the management company, they did nothing. Third, the property's living/dining room is much smaller than appears in the photos. When we arrived, the apartment has not been cleaned. The management company only communicates by email. They give you the phone number to call in case of emergencies, but when we called, no one answered. Apparently, someone was only manning the phones at the time of our arrival, and since our plane was late, and our arrival time has passed we could not get anyone on the phone. A few hours later we were able to get a cleaning crew in place. A pillow that my daughter brought with her went missing and we never found it. The management company was extremely unhelpful. I would not advise dealing with them or the owner (who I also contacted about the problem).

I have therefore looked into the matter very carefully. The emails in between you and the management Company are answering your questions almsot instantly. With phone conversations everyone has his own version, and it's hard to improve the service based on unverified information. Indeed, the microwave was missing, after the previous renter had let it fall on the ground. A new one was ordered. I am very sorry for the inconvenience here, although the regular oven could have been used instead. The cleaners were late with the cleaning too, for which I do apologize as well. I instructed the property management to issue you a partial refund for the inconveniences. After you left, the expensive sofa I had bought for the living room was left stained with Coco-cola and tomato sauce which has jeopartized the refund. The oven does work. You had agreed that if you had any difficulty in operating an appliance, and agent would assist you, with provided you call him in between agreed hours. Unfortunately, you called well after.While planes arriving late are frequent, guests are generally happy to ask their questions by email and getting their answers within an hour generally, An agent calls them if needed. there was no email request in which you had asked how to operate my oven ( which is just as easy as any other oven ! ). The property is located in Paris 4th, as clearly mentioned here. All correspondence are reflecting the exact district and address. My property has been categorized by VRBO in Paris 1st district for some reason, modification must be done by VRBO support. Besides, Paris 4th is a toursitic district, with plenty of attractions, while Paris 1st is a business district, with little touristic activity and accomodation. I will be very happy the day VRBO will classify my property in Paris 4th. Regarding the pillow that your daughter brought with her, and that, as you write - "went missing" - the cleaning lady was offended. Maybeyour daughter had left it in the plane ? The property manager has never heard of such thing like cleaners steeling pillows while cleaning the apts in the presence of the guests. Inaccurate comments, when also offensive, are misleading to other renters, and of not much use, other than malevolent.

We were generally happy with our stay at this well-located apartment in Paris. The driver service was excellent from the airport. The small elevator was a blessing for transporting suitcases to the 3rd floor. We found the apartment to be clean, bright and spacious. There were a few issues with appliances and USAParis was helpful and quickly responsive to fix things. Unfortunately the expresso machine was not working which was a disappointment. The kitchen could be better stocked for cooking and there is no toaster. There were lots of restaurants close by, especially in the Marais district. We were able to easily walk to the sites we were interested in and the metro was not far either. There is a great bakery just down the street and the neighbourhood was quiet except for the traffic noise. The beds were comfortable and clean. The bathroom was clean as well but could have benefited from better privacy - maybe frosted glass instead of clear glass on the doors. All in all a comfortable stay. Good for a small family.

This was our second stay in this stylish and comfortable apartment. 2 bathrooms is a serious plus,even though one is a bit small. The amenities are generous, every detail taken care of. Marc was extremely helpful. Shopping and attractions are at your doorstep literally. The kitchen is small but well equipped. We loved the bedroom with the 2 queen size beds. Everything is tasteful and of great quality. We'll definitely be back. Thank you, Marc, for your kindness towards the whole family.

We were absolutely delighted with this rental. UsaParis people were extremely helpful. Having had bad experiences with cross-border transactions, we liked the safety of dealing with a US firm with an office in Paris too. But they made us even more comfortable when they sent their very friendly driver service to pick-us up at the airport. The driver even carried our luggages to the apartment ! The apartment was very charming and perfectly equipped. A lamp was not working in the living room, but the Usaparis staff repaired it almost immediately after we called them. The location was spectacular and the deal unbeatable ! We have been to Paris quite a number of times, and will definitively come back here.

We really enjoyed our stay here - it is so well situated and is easy walking distance to Pompidou, Notre Dame, Louvre etc...This is a particularly good property for those travelling with children. I booked it specifically because we have 2 children aged 1 and 2 and it had a lift for our push chair and also provided a travel cot. It has a pretty small lift but just fit a phil and ted's with double seat and one adult. The apartment itself has two small steps and there are some exposed tv cables on the floor that we had to cover with a suitcase, but it is otherwise great for crawlers and young children. The coffee table is on wheels which some may find annoying, but our 1 year old loved pushing it around. Being walking distance to so much great stuff was a huge bonus with a push chair, catching the metro is a real pain. The apartment was very clean, the bed linen was nice and the pillows were good. If you do choose to stay here there is a great restaurant, eat in or take away, very nearby called Au Duc. The food was excellent and if you are bit rusty with your french the chef speaks very good english! Booking the apartment involved quite a lot of paper work and red tape, but it was worth it. All in all we had a fabulous stay here and would highly recommend this apartment.

Recommended for: Families with young children, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

The property was easy to find and keys and parking were also easy to secure. Inside there was everything needed for a short break; all was clean and welcoming too. Although close to a major road it was very quiet and we were not bothered by other residents during our stay. Metro and tram were both very close and it was easy to travel around Paris without needing the car. All in all a very good place to stay.

Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

The unit was modern, clean and spacious. There were many windows and the beds were comfortable. The location was terrific and we were able to see almost all the major sites by walking. The only negative was the street the unit was on. It was smelly and unsanitary. It was a pleasure doing business with the management company. They have a first class operation and were easy and friendly to work with!

Excellent Location, Quicky Retro Style

We had a great time in this small apartment with a large living room. First, the quirks: The wireless internet didn't work, but the wired (CAT5 Ethernet cable) worked fine. The bathroom is split into 2 - a toilet room and a sink/shower room. A shower curtain was provided, but there was no rod to hang it up. The door to the shower room is glass - lots of light - little privacy. Romantic getaway? The kitchen is a hallway, but easy to use and well stocked. I loved the espresso machine. There is no AC - we used the fans in May, but it might be hotter during the summer. Overall, the apartment was clean, tidy, and well laid out. A few more doors for privacy would have been helpful. The neighborhood was wonderfully lively. There are several great bakeries within a few blocks. There was almost no street noise despite the likely street life. The Les Halles metro stop was within 10 minutes walk was convenient for accessing nearly all of Paris. This apartment was rented by a reseller, who provided adequate communication, but did not have specific details -- for example how to use the wireless internet (username/password). Note: The TV was nicely sized and had a cable setup with a DVD player (but not for region 1 - US DVDs).

Recommended for: Families with young children, tourists without a car, sightseeing.
